Christian kasi sila so ang tawag sa part na yun ay The KISS naman. Parang yun ata yung dun palang sila nagkiss. Bale yung groom yung nagwewelcome sa amin then yung bride and the father yung naghatid sa bar nun. May stage yun. Then after nun puro photobooth na.

Hi mga sis. Share ko lang what my bff told me about sa after party ng college blockmate niya. He knows kasi we'll have an after party coz we have too many friends that we want to be part of our new beginning but of course we can't have them all sa day of.

*Anyway, a warning lang he's medyo maldito & critical so take it with a grain of salt.. You have been warned hehe

He's been telling me that he's been relegated to the after party of the couple. He didn't divulge then the details. So here's his side of the story. When they got to the venue the reception was still on going. He went to a coordinator to ask where they could wait. The coordinator daw radioed in that the guests for the after party was there na. While they were waiting, they browsed the reception table seating arrangement. Of course, alam nila wala sila duon because they were for the after party nga. Then the coordinator told them that they could go in & eat. Ayaw naman ng friend ko & friends niya because alam naman nila for the after party sila.

So eto na si after party. *"Walang food & booze."  They were expected daw to get the *"tira-tira" from (I guess) the buffet. And the drinks daw was also the ones served sa reception prior. Di na kami nakapag react ni fiancĂ© coz my friend left after that. Hindi na niya nasabi if it seemed like a reception too or party party mode.

My positive take on that is siguro the couple included them na sa number of guests for the food & booze kaya mukhang walang intended talaga for them. Like, you know same chaffing dishes from the event prior.  He didn't give nga daw his ang pao/cash gift. But then again, he's maldito nga.

Thoughts?

Bakit kasi ang after party nila eh! same venue of reception? Sige I understand na it can be budgeted pero sana man lang they organized it well. Sana sa bahay na lang ginawa yung after party kahit kaunting kainan then inuman na lang. Or sana kinabukasan nag after party. But if I would rely sa statement ng friend mo, it is not a good idea na after reception gagawin mong after party for other people especially to your friends pa then sa kanila lang yung mga tira tirang food. Nakaka-offend nga yun kahit na ba maraming tira. Sana nag after party na lang sa mga KTV's marami namang package offers for that eh!

Ive never seen an after party in the reception venue na may mga other guests to follow who werent invited to the main event. Pangit ng dating eh. Parang pinapunta lang yung ibang tao doon pag nagalisan na the real guests of the main event. Parang you are only invited to "half" of the party because it is in the same venue as the reception, except you werent invited to dinner. LOL!! Tapos yung food and drink was the same food from dinner, na leftover. Haaaaayyyyyy  Not polite at all.

Ang weird ng set up nh? Coz I saw sa FB (bff was tagged on a photo) expensive pa yung venue eh. So, yung initial rate plus extension.  Add to the yung extension ng caterer, lights & sounds etc. Akala ko nga when he started his kwento is may different hall or room for the after party (coz ganun yung venue). But from the way he told his story na they were expected to get from the same buffet set up from the reception edi same room/hall lang.

To put it simply, medyo rude. Kaya siguro my friend didn't give his ang pao hihi

Buti nalang we scrapped the idea of having our after party (at at different location) on the same night. Isip ko una was para isang paguran nalang. But not good to make them wait nga. Well that plus sunday wedding kami hihi

Buti nga nag-isip ang friend mo, and okay na yung he didn't give cash gift.

Well kasi yung talagang bday ni baby will fall on Sunday, eh Sabado ako nagpacelebrate. Sa neighborhood namin hindi lahat invited. Lalo na yung relatives na ayaw ko. My mom still ordered another food kahit na ba marami yung tira nung last night.
