^I agree sis.. Bob Nicolas din ang dream ko bukod sa pricey yung availability naman niya ang usual na problem kasi napaka in demand. Getting suppliers like them na very popular sa wedding industry isa sa madugong part hahaha! Paunahan kasi eh and ang daming celebrities na kinakasal kaya most likely sila din ang kinukuha.. Kaya for newly engaged couples they have to research ng mabuti kasi madami talagang magagaling with good reviews (and of course, nasa taste din ng couple).. I also like Notion in Motion (which I heard na kapatid ni Bob Nicolas) and Ghe Consolacion but they are no longer available na din sa date namin. Treehouse Story is equally good too If they really want Bob Nicolas/Nelwin Uy and the likes kailangan talaga yung wedding off peak, weekday,  or 2 years pa lang na-book na or sometimes swerte lang talaga. hehe Best of luck sa atin!!!

I wanted to get Jason Magbanua and Pat Dy pero hindi na talaga kaya ng budget namin. H2b wanted to get NicePrint so we went ahead and got them. And then I read the not-so-good reviews. But since nagdown na kami we can't really do anything anymore. 20k is too much for us to let go. So we just requested certain teams to handle our event. They are nice enough naman to accommodate our request.I might have regretted it at first but I feel good now. I just trust them and I just pray that everything goes well.

So for the brides who are yet to choose their P/V team, go and get who you really want  that is within your budget. And do a research, not just outputs but client feedback as well. It's also good if you discuss this with your groom. For me, the P/V is one my most important suppliers. Their output is our souvenir from our wedding. So if you have the means, splurge on your P/V.

^ I attended a wedding last week P/V nila Niceprint maganda yung SDE super nakakatouch and ganda din ng cinematography. Though, I noticed lang na walang SDE ng Photos.. I don't know kung ganun ba talaga or depende sa package. Lately lang kasi yung mga na-attendan ko na wedding may SDE din ng Photos pero ibang Photographer nga lang.


I agree it's all about the budget and kung nag aagree ba kayo ni h2b dun sa gustong supplier. Important kasi din to consider ang budget dahil yun ang pinaka mahirap i-adjust sa lahat :p Kahit sinong P/V supplier basta happy ang couple, maganda ang reviews, and ok ka-communicate.. tee hee!! Ako medyo sa reviews ako nahirapan kasi lahat ng shortlisted kong photographer walang review hahahaha! Kaya nag depend ako sa output and availability.

I initially booked a package p/v, but when hubby and i talked about changing we have chosen already Jason Magbanua , nastress ako ng bongga nun coz it would affect much our budget and all but hubby said we try to arrange and get midrange to others dito nalang daw kami magsplurge. We got the Same Day Edit and Cinematic Highlights Full Edit. I hope its worth the upgrade kasi 25K din difference nya. But Jason is the most humble and the nicest supplier talaga, we have postponed our wedding during my MIL death but he SMS me that he understands the situation although 3 months nalng yung wedding namin. He is also the reason why we put our wedding on a weekday dahil hindi narin siya available.

He is doing my bestfriend's wedding din this december so marami ako makukuha first hand tips from bff. Medyo nakakashy kasi sa camera. Apart from having a good p/v anyway kahit sino naman pv natin as long a we prepare ourselves to unfold one of the best stories of our life, in the end we make our own stories, be happy, glowing and feel the moment and love.

All the photographers I liked were beyond my budget haha so I settled for a mid-priced one. I'm just going to give them direction kung ano yung style of shots that I want and I asked for a copy of the RAW files so I can re-edit if I need to. I heard kasi mahirap mag request ng re-edit pag busy na yung photographers.

Funny everyone says that P/V is very important pero I know a few couples who years after their wedding have not bothered to collect their album.

I know some people will disagree, for me video is not that important. I don't imagine myself watching it more than once.

I agree sis depende talaga sa priority ng couples, as for us most of our guest are working in media and advertising, he himself doing commercials videos so medyo isa siya sa requirements talaga namin. We love doing videos, everytime we travel we always have videos and during birthday and any special event, people knows he will make a special video for me, passion niya rin kasi yun. Our wedding will have a lot of presentation,  I think our guest will be expecting that one already.

I saw one wedding mahilig naman sila sa photos so they have put up gallery in their wedding parang naging exhibit narin siya. Parang way of expressing themselves narin tapos souvenir din nila is disposable camera.

^Hi Sis, true early booking dapat! Medyo swerte because I pencil booked Bob Nicolas mga 1yr and 4mos before our wedding, they are very nice and accommodating, hindi ko lang pinursue because gusto ko lang makasave ng konti. Sayang din hehe. Wow kapatid pala ni Bob si Notion, I didn't know that.

Others are right, it pays to read reviews too.

DO A LOT OF RESEARCH. Meron talagang magaling sa Marketing na suppliers. Pero mas gusto ko talaga ang maliit na team, kasi they are 1 or 2 clients per day lang, para sa akin mas okay yung ganun.

It took us how many months before we finally decided sino mga kukunin namin. I remember sending emails back and forth, profile and even background checking (especially on the rising photographers/videographers) para malaman namin yung experience nila and portfolio. So a thorough review and research is really needed lalo na pag you want a nice team talaga.
So goodluck sa mga b2bs na nagreresearch pa lang. Ensure na ang makuhang nyong team has a style that really fits your taste and characters

That makes me feel better sis. Actually AVP in NP is addl 10k but we got it for free during the bridal fair. So maybe they did not upgrade?

I think to each her own naman regarding P/V importance. One reason why I got NP too is because they give 3 albums. One for the couple and one each for the families. My parents would really appreciate the pictures/album. And because I spent a sum of money for my wedding, I want it to be documented perfectly. I don't want it to live just in my memory. I know couples, who, when in a big fight would look at their photos and be reminded of that special day and it calms them down. Si for me, its really a very important supplier.

I'm a newbie here, just want to check guys what are the things do you consider in getting P&V?aside from the budget, What are the things you are expecting to get from them e.g Same Day edit,pre-nup photoshoot,etc. I dont want kasi to get a packages na on the last minuite kulang pala.So I would like to ask you girls for tips on that.

^Hi sis, aside from budget, check out the inclusions of your supplier as well. For me kasi, prenup is not a must-have.I wanted a package na my parents' album na and yung combined na yung photo and video. May mga sis naman tayo na prefer nila yung separate for photo and video. So when choosing, look at their inclusions and then check your contract if those inclusions are really stated there. And I'm pretty sure that suppliers usually have different packages, and the inclusions on those packages differ as well.

Yes, ang importante sa P/V is happy kayo ni h2b more than anything else! Kanya-kanya naman kasi talaga yun eh.. Yung kinuha nga namin na Photographer dark yung style nila and I'm sure di yun type ng ibang tao pero yun kasi yung feel namin eh at happy kami sa package na in-offer sa amin. Wow, 3 albums that's very nice nga! Your parents will be very happy and yes when you're having a bad day tignan niyo lang yung album to remind you with your beautiful story.

^^Sis, yes check the inclusions too para sulit talaga! Maraming magaling! Check Bride and Breakfast for inspo then make a shortlist dun sa mga nagustuhan mo na suppliers then email them one by one para makita mo ano mga packages nila! Pero check reviews too though di naman lahat ng nasa review kung bad or good ay same experience pagdating sayo.

Sis rory sino p/v team na kinuha mo? Nalilito na din talaga ako kung sino ang kukunin na maganda ang output! Naginquire din ako ke efjay kasi gusto ko yung shots niya, kaso ang problema ayaw din namin ng hiwalay na team, ang mahal na kasi pagpinaghiwalay pa namin. Nabasa ko dati na part si efjay ng a&a, brilliantbum, ggp, hindi ko lang alam ngayon kungn dun pa rin sya since may sarili na syang name. Ang nasa list namin na pinagpipilian marc parra, brilliantbum, a&a at colove studios pero pagnagsscout talaga ako nagbabago talaga yung desisyon. Plan namin ibook tong p/v next year since 2018 pa naman wedding namin. Hay nakakaloka talaga!

Oo sis minsan yung bet natin hindi bet ng iba. Pero kung happy naman ang couple sa napili nila, worth it na yung gastos kasi at theend of the day everything is for the couple naman! Yay lapit na wedding mo sis..

^^ Sis raiizea, after A LOT of research, orasyon and pag pray over haha we've decided to get Meg and Jane Studios. P/V na sila, pasok sila sa budget namin, LAHAT na ata namessage ko na and nareview ko portfolio to the point na sumasakit na ulo ko at nasusuka nako kakaisip (oa) haha! Magasawa din sila, magaling si Meg (husband - video) pero lately habang tumatagal gumagaling na din and at par na ang talent ni Jane.

Check mo tong site nila. Dami ko na kasi nakausap, dami ko na nacheck, besides, ang cool sa budding artists eh mas madali makipag communicate, responsive, and mas madali magadjust sa Clients, kagaya namin April ang kasal, April pa din ang prenup and STD, sila lang ang pumayag halos na irush yung gawa para maipost namin prenup maski konting photos and STD a few days before the wedding.

Meticulous ako, trust me, pero pasado garantisado sila haha. NO regrets.

Hmm.. sige ichecheck ko nga ulit sila. Pero sa totoo lang ang pasok sa taste ko ng photo si efjay de leon at si myio okamoto. Kaso ang hassle paghiwalay yung p/v. Dito talaga nakakalito pumili. Although super ahead of time talaga ako nagsscout. Iniisip ko lang kasi ayoko mastress paglate nako nagprepare. At feeling ko 2018 baka biglang tumaas ng bonga ang price ng mga suppliers kasi hot year yun. Ang dami ko na talagang nailista sa excel file ko. Photo supplier only, video supplier only at combination ng dalawa. Check ko sila ulit pero nasa list ko din sila. Haha! Kasi halos lahat ng ininquire-an ko andito sa gt. Galing lahat sa suggestions dito kaya thankful talaga ako na nagkaron ako ng ideas pano ang wedding planning hehe..

raiizea, haha the struggle is real. Ganyan din kami nung una. Research ka lang sis tapos settle ka dun sa style na swak sa inyo ni h2b. And, magkano ba budget mo sa P/V? Ang advantage naman pag separate, you can have the best of both worlds ika nga. Kasi focused sila sa talagang forte nila. Ang advantage naman kung same na yung P/V mo, iisa na lang yung kausap mo.

You're welcome sis! Basta trust your P/V talaga especially naman na sinasabi mo what you really want to see sa videos. What matters most is happy kayo ni h2b We all have our own opinions talaga pagdating sa mga gusto natin.
