wow oo nga! baka isa sa reason is nag upgrade na sila ng equipments? ang mahal kasi ng camera. and also kilala na sila since naging top supplier sila sa waw nung 2014.

Hi mga sis Newbie here. Nagkaroon ako ng problem w/ Toto Villaruel. Muntik na akong ma double booked I met him a few months ago and ok naman naging discussion namin. I asked him if pwede bang pencil book muna since we're still securing the church and reception and pumayag naman siya. Sabi naman niya as courtesy to me dahil ako pina unang nag inquire sa 2017 he will let me know pag may ibang magbobook na. I was super happy kasi sobrang ok kausap. Tapos nung malapit na, I asked him for his bank details and everything kasi mag bobook na ako, I told him to give me a 1 week extension lang since si MIL ang mag sesettle ng payment, and sabi naman niya no problem, send ko na lang daw deposit slip pag na depo ko na. tapos nung Friday the following week, we were about to deposit na but nag hold muna kami. Kasi I was planning to change the date. kasi lucky date sa mga chinese date ko and I'm having a hard time securing suppliers. So naturally cicontact ko si Toto and video ko to extend me a few days lang kasi I'm going to get them naman either way kahit na change date and sympre nag apologize lang ako to extend me a few more days para mag consult lang sa feng shui master. No problem w/ video, sobrang ok kausap. Pero I was surprise lang w/ Toto. He told me na as much as he would like to pencil book me on that day 'as per company policy' doon sila sa unang nag downpayment, hindi nila ma pepencil original date ko kasi may nag downpayment na daw? pero as per email thread namin nag ok siya to give me another week, hindi pa over ang week may iba na nag down sa kanya? Sobrang disappointed ako mga sis. So buti na lang hindi pa ako nag down that day kasi may iba na pala nag down? And disappointed ako kasi personally niya sinabi sa akin na sasabihan nya ako as courtesy to me and may email thread naman kami. Sobrang devastated ako, kasi i really wanted to get Toto for my wedding kasi siya yung top pick ko tapos ganun nangyari. Nag apologize naman sila for the mix-up. Ang sad lang. I didn't like the way it was handled lang.

^That's so sad sis!! Good thing di pa din pinilit ni Toto to have 2 brides in one day. Perhaps, they made a mistake with their record keeping? But I can feel your frustration!!  Never mind sis, perhaps it really is not meant to be. 2017 pa naman your wedding and you will surely be able to find someone else that will match your style, needs, and budget. What's nice these days is there are so many extremely talented and good photographers and videographers!! =)  Good luck in finding another photographer!

Aww. I felt bad after reading it. Pero sis princessshayera, ok lang yan, some things are not meant to be. baka may rason kung bakit nangyari yan. malay mo you'll be thankful pa pala.

Thanks mga sis. pero as in umiyak pa ako that night kasi super hindi ko ineexpect. Lahat kasi kailangan kong idaan kay MIL kasi medyo strict. Pero I understand naman na Dec and madaming nagbobook pero I felt na parang nadaya ako since hindi sila tumupad sa usapan Anyway, I was able to get Jaja Samaniego for my photo na so everything is good.

^Agree. Sis princessshayera, think of it as a blessing in disguise. You may not realize it now, but later on you'll understand why it happened. There are several other great photographers out there! I'm sure you'll find another one for you

its a good thing you were able to sort things out way before your big day! its true, blessing in disguise yan:) you can check out myio okamoto as suggested by someone recently. i was checking his portfolio and found out that he shoots/used to shoot for toto villaruel. it is stated in some of his wedding albums. his photos are fresh and light looking and his rates are affordable.

Finally, after months of pag iisip between kina J L Reyes, Gail of Foreveryday andChestknots, nakapili na din kami ni h2b. We chose Chestknots na. Carlo was very nice kasi and patient with answering all my queries.

We opted to get their package B + X which Carlo suggested. Nung una kasi yung package C (which costs Php208K) nila yung iniisip ko and then pina tanggal ko na lang yung parents' album and styling (kaya naging Php155K) and then Carlo said mas makakamura ako sa package B + X (which will cost Php127,600) nila which is inclusive na of the wedding coverage, pre nup shoot, sde, pre nup slide show and wedding album. Wala nga lang pre nup album which according to h2b okay lang. But if we decide to get the prenup album mag add lang daw kami ng 18k sabi ni Carlo.

I emailed them na to pencil book na my wedding day and then I'll pay na lang this coming Getting Married bridal fair para maavail ko din if ever na may promo sila sa bridal fair. Ganun din kasi ginawa ko last year when I booked Bob Nicolas for our video and pumayag naman sila.

I'm still waiting for Carlo's reply. Sana naman free pa din sila sa wedding date ko.

Do you have other photographers in mind? Why not try J Lucas Reyes or Jeff and Lisa? They share a similar aesthetic -- if you're going for classic, well-lit shots.

^Me! But my wedding is not yet done:) I think Sheila is on leave taking care of their kids so it will just be Jorem plus 2 other photographers.

Sid wednesdei parehas [textspeak!] chestknots. But mine is under the team of Jayjay lucas. You were right sobrang bait ni carlo kesa kay Jay hehe pero i still opt to have Jay kasi. My initial choice was J lucas Reyes pero he is not available on our wedding and prenup date. Not really meant to be siguro.

^Yey twinny tayo sa photographer although magkaiba ng team! Carlo replied na and he said na he will pencil book me na and then I can just give my downpayment sa Jan 17 sa Getting Married Bridal Fair sa SMX para if may promos or discounts sila, ma avail ko din. Nandun din daw siya in the morning so we could meet din. Ang dami ko pa kasi gusto itanong. Sinulat ko nga sa notebook ko para pag punta ko sa fair, hindi ko makalimutan.

My wedding will be lead naman by Carlo. They can do two weddings daw per day and since may 1 na nakabook for my wedding date, kaya siguro napunta sa akin yung team ni Carlo (which I don't mind). One sis here din said na normally yung first wedding na mabook for the day ang handle ni Jayjay.

Isa din si J Lucas Reyes sa pinag pilian ko kasi super ganda a ko sa wedding photos ni Saab Magalona. Pero super pricey siya for me.

Sis, try mo si Photogenics. Isa siya sa mga na ask ko during the bridal fair in moa. Nagtawaran kami to 60K and not bad gawa nila but hindi lang ako natuloy sa kanila kasi friend ko si Project Mayo
