So FP released a screenshot of Maine Mendoza's DM to him thanking him for his support and being nice to her. I think he's using this is an ammunition to gain sympathy from people especially her fans. She could have been thanking him for always featuring nice posts about her and NOT directly about the gown issue. He's very sneaky and manipulative talaga. Hay naku, FP.

I don't like FP, I think he's a bully, pero di ko maintindihan ang kaso ni Liz Uy against him kung tungkol sa gown yun kasi may proof naman.

Naiintindihan ko ang point ni FP dun sa gown. Kasi 2013 lumabas yun tas nilabas ulit as 2015. Siguro limited ang info ko about sa fashion, pero di pa ako nakabasa ng sikat na designer na naglabas ng gown sa current collection na galing sa previous shows nya. Siguro kung vintage/retro gowns at kung ganon ang theme ng collection, pwede pa.
Mas lumala lang ang issue kasi yung nag model ay si Kim C from the rival network.

Since luma nga naman talaga yun gown, it's up to Liz, her lawyer, and witnesses to prove na malicious nga yung intent.

I am one of the many thinking, finally!!!! he got what he deserved.  guilty pleasure ko dati ang blind item niya.  hindi porket graduate ka of a good school, automatic responsible blogger and journalist ka na.  he has his way of bullying until he gets what he wants.  kung mapapansin ninyo, may season na iisang celebrity lagi laman ng blog niya.  yung ibang celebrity nag give in and befriended his friends kaya tumitigil siya.  yung iba, art of deadma lang talaga.

^the gown issue, in my opinion, should not be held against Liz.  hindi ako fan ni Liz, actually feelin ko nga dati TH siya maging IT girl. being reasonable lang and thinking with a clear mind, paano malalaman ni Liz na nasuot na ni Kim yun 2 years ago.  Ni hindi siya yung stylist ni Kim.  Of course people will say why not research, really now, in a span of 1 week na you need to dress up a person, what do u expect the girl to do kung hindi naman sinabi ng designer na pinasuot niya sa iba.  Do you think a stylist (even not Liz) will know kung ano ang sinuot ng bawat celebrity na lumabas sa tv, movie, and mall show?  (actually any event kahit malling na pwede ma picturan ang celebriity)  May documentation ba anywhere na she can use as reference to say who has worn what?

Si marian and heart nga lagi niyang pinagsasabong ang fans before kasi pare pareho sila ng suot.  Sa akin lang pag artista ka and may pera, you always want the latest design and prints.  and imposible naman na ikaw lang makaka afford nun.  be ready to be compared to other people who can buy and wear the same clothes.

Does that mean then that Maine does not support her own stylist? I think she should take a stand kasi if other personalities expressed their support, bakit siya na siya mismo ang client at sa event naman nila nag root ang lahat ng to can't say anything. And I'm assuming she and Liz are friends.

Actually sis Antigone, I'm wondering the same. I hate FP actually kasi sobra din naman ang narcissism niya but what could have he written ba na libelous against Liz. Naisip ko lang yung "RECYCLED" article - that the stylist made Maine wear a recycled gown na parang "ginamit" na ni Kim Chiu at pinagamit ULIT sa kanya. Francis Libiran I think already explained that Kim Chiu wore that as one of the models showcasing his collection in a fashion event.

I think it's for using the word 'recycled' to incite hate for Liz Uy. Hindi maganda ang connotation ng 'recycled' sa masa, parang recycled gift, etc. If you get a recycled gift from your monito monita, you get upset.

They already said that the gown was new and from an old collection of Francis Libiran where Kim was just the model or siya ang mannequin for that gown.

Para hindi na maulit, custom-made na dapat lahat ng damit niya, siya lang susukat.

Sis, I think you are defining libel as "publishing inaccurate information." Such is not necessarily the case as other actions may constitute libel too. For clarity, let's have a working definition. I just googled this ha, better pag may lawyer sana na Girltalker na mag explain ng mas malinaw

Libel is a method of defamation expressed by print, writing, pictures, signs, effigies, or any communication embodied in physical form that is injurious to a person's reputation, exposes a person to public hatred, contempt or ridicule, or injures a person in his/her business or profession.

So there, it's libel. FP's blog posts allegedly led to defamation of Liz and her team/business.

I edited to add "allegedly" - innocent until proven guilty, hehe.

Pero yun nga, baka kasi may iba pang sinabi si FP na di ko alam or baka hindi lang yung gown yung issue.

Eto lang ha, kung nakaka-damage pala ng reputation yung ganyan na naisuot na ng iba yung isusuot ng artista, e (kung ito ang reason for the libel) di part ng job stylist to make sure na hindi mangyayari yang ganyan.

Hindi sa pinagtatanggol ko si FP pero kaya nga may tabloid journalism e..saka ang showbiz reporting dito, mas masahol pa nga sina Lolit and Cristy Fermin. Isama pa si Jobert. Mas sosyal pa nga si FP e. Karapatan nyang magdemanda pero ibang usapan na kung mananalo sya. Sa UK, US, nga grabe ang mga tabloids, saka dito din actually. Patulan ba? Kung papatulan nya, naturingang socialite pa naman sya, parang she stoop down to their level.

i backread a bit and from what i understand kaya may case si liz uy is because di naman sya yun stylist involved but her brother vince? if proven na walang kinalaman si liz sa sinabi ni FP libelous nga.

libel only applies to defamation in physical form, ie published writings/print articles, pictures etc. kung na overhear ni belle na sinisiraan ni FP si liz that's slander.

@book_mags,  sadly kahit di aware si liz na lumabas na noon yun gown 2 yrs ago talagang damay pa rin sya dun kasi sya ang binayaran na stylist. Dagdag pa dito yung di magandang fit ng gown. Parang nagpatong-patong na yun issue.

@antigone, yun gucci jacket issue naman ang na witness ni Belle Daza, grave slander ang ikinaso sa kanya. Sinabi daw ni FP sa kausap nya na pinasuot daw ni liz kay maine yun jacket na naisuot na ni liz weeks ago. Kung may ibang magtestify na di galing sa clique nila Liz at Belle, mukhang tagilid si FP dun. So, goodluck na lang sa kanya.

I've read preview mags statement regarding sa gucci jacket ni maine. the wardrobe for aldub pictorials were flown pa from somewhere (i forgot) and si Maine talaga ang unang nagsuot (sept 30 - preview cover pictorial) and was styled by vince uy, liz brother. Yung wardrobe daw na to eh maraming nakapila para masuot for pictorial or promotion purposes sa pagkakaintindi ko. It so happened that liz uy wore the same jacket on the first week of october and posted her pic on instagram that's why it looked like na liz uy wore it first kase nga di pa out yung november issue ng preview mag. Also, wala ding alam si liz uy na nasuot na ni maine yun for preview's pictorial kahit na brother nya yung stylist kase nga confidential. Sa jacket issue mukhang tagilid si FP pero yung sa Tamang Panahon na gown mukhang makakalusot sya kase inconsistent/contradicting yung statement ni francis libiran na gumawa daw talaga sya ng gown for maine when infact pinag pull out lang yun ni liz from his previous collection para lang sa "just incase" situation di maganda ang fit or nagka problema sa gown na susuotin ni maine. Parang back up/buffer lang yung gown sana pero pag suot nila kay maine eh bumagay naman.
How i wish na sana di na lang nag DM si maine kay FP kase for sure gagamitin nya talaga to to get sympathy from aldub nation. Im an aldub fan but nalungkot ako when i saw maine's DM posted on his blog.
