For TS, valid naman yung pagtatampo mo... that's a natural response sa ganyang situation.

Ganyan talaga buhay mag-asawa di laging bed of roses, may mga di pagkakaunawaan at tampuhan.. You are two different person kaya di maiiwasan ang conflicts.  But you know what, how you tackle the small conflicts will help you to handle the bigger ones. Talk it out with love at the right time.

I love this Sis Snowball! Totoo yan! hahaha!

Try to buy a cook book or search for the recipe na pwede makatulong sayo. Sana sis wag kang mawalan ng ganang magluto practice makes perfect. Malay mo next time maperfect mo na yung ulam mo.

sensitive lang TS hindi naman "so sensitive" :) i hope you're okay na... hmmm try and try until you succeed. siguro meron lang hinanap na lasa si hubby mo that time. try experimenting OR sabihin mo na next time siya naman magluto or turuan ka niya if meron siyang idea kung paano dapat. magandang opportunity din yan try nyo mag cooking lessons ng hubby mo then cook for each other :) may bonding moment na kayo natuto pa kayo pareho :)

I know it's our responsibility to cook for the family, do the household chores and all.

no, it's not.  maybe in your setup, you had previously agreed to that.  but in our household, it is the responsibility of the person who is hungry to cook.  ;D

now, i'm a stickler for cleanliness so i've taken it upon myself to clean the house, but that's on me.

and to answer your question, yes, you are being sensitive.  it says a lot about your dynamics that you couldn't have had quickly quipped back something sarcastic and/or funny when he complained.

welcome to the intricacies and warfare that is "marriage".   ;)

Effort kaya magluto!  :P

i hope everything is going great now, sis yannuh!

reading your post made me feel guilty because just this week i told my husband that i didn't like what he cooked for us.

i'm five weeks pregnant and i guess the hormones just got to me. i was feeling very tired and nauseous the whole day so my husband said he'll cook dinner. i told him he can make cream-based pasta with chicken because that's what we had in our pantry. when he called me to eat i was surprised that what was on my plate was very different - it was an experiment, he said. it was pasta with chicken, eggplant, mangoes, and it had mustard seeds and dill as additional seasoning.

i'm sorry to say that i absolutely hated it! between the two of us, my husband is the better cook. in fact, he taught me but now he loves to say that the student has surpasses the master.

he kept asking me whether i liked it and i just couldn't lie. i think it's the hormones because i'm usually diplomatic. i could see he was really hurt and he said so. i asked him why he didn't use the pasta sauce, it was right there! he said he didn't like it. i said you could have just sauteed the chicken in garlic and butter and added the pasta sauce and that would have been it!

then i just started crying because i was feeling sick and i had to eat this dish i hated so much! i felt like a crazy person! good thing my husband is understanding. he laughed it off and took me to the bedroom where he just hugged me and we just talked about how i felt.

waaaaahhhhh! pregnancy hormones!

^wow congrats sis 120515! So happy for you!😘

Ok na kami ni hubby! Siguro adjustment period pa as a married couple when i posted this. Pero everything's good now, like we can criticize each other pag may nilutong hindi masarap and tatawanan na lang namin & hindi na sya magiging cause ng away. Lesson learned: try and try until you succeed.
