Hi mga sis, medyo confuse lang ako, paano ba ang process? parang iba iba eh, when we went to the church we were advise to get a marriage license first tapos nung bumalik kami they only asked for our name and contact number then they will call us daw for the dulog.. they didn't ask for the payment nor our documents, hmm, naguguluhan ako kaso hindi na ko nakapagtanong kasi medyo dismissive yung statements nung nag assist. Until now we are waiting for the interview eh January na ang kasal hehe. church na lang ang kulang. We are thinking of changing our church na.. TIA sa magrereply

iba iba talaga sis depende sa church mo.. lalo na sa requirements. pero all churches magrerequire ng marriage license talaga 
Do you mean when you submitted the license they get your name and number to schedule for the dulog? that's the next thing na kasi  Payments baka sa last kayo hihingan. mahirap naman na nagbayad kayo tapos d nio agad matapos yung mga hinihingi nilang papers or along the way e magpalit kayo ng church, things like that sis.

kumpleto na requirements namin sis, nag worry lang ako bakit hindi pa sila nag ask ng payment and they didn't take any of our requirements. Interview muna, parang feeling ko tuloy yung pag di nakapasa ng interview wala na. haha wag naman sana  baka kasi makulitan sila sa akin if i get an update, two weeks na kasi when they asked for our information. medyo worried na ko

Sis, strict kaya ang mga churches sa baptismal certificate? may discrepancy kasi sa spelling ng name ng father ni h2b. nung pinapacorrect sa church nila sa province, iprocess daw muna with abogado and all. hassle. we were thinking to submit the requirements first kahit may mali. baka naman makalusot. pero yung birth certificate nya may annotation na ng corrected spelling ng father's name eh. sana okay proof na yun.

May nabasa ako online sa one of the churches sa pinas. Kung overseas daw need namen yung freedom to marry certificate sa parish church namen dito sa dubai. Nagpunta kame kahapon sa parish office dito, nag ask na din kame kung pwede dito na kame mag seminar. So happy na pwede naman daw!

The wedding will be on April 2016. So they suggested we should register for pre cana seminar on 1st week of January and the seminar will be 3rd week ng January. Then after the seminar they will give us freedom to marry certificate.

Ask ko lang mga sis, ano naman yung cannonical interview? Pwede ba yung dito din? Or sa pinas talaga dapat yon?

Paano naman yung marriage bans?
Di ko talaga gets eh, di ko alam kung ano need unahin. Church ba o Marriage license. Eh yung marriage license naman valid lang for 120 days!

Ang hirap pa kasi abroad, di ko malaman kung need pa ba ng DFA Authetication. Hayyyyy.

^sis mas mabuti kausapin mo church nyo and tell them overseas kayo. Yung marriage license namin napasa namin 3 days before the wedding since 2 weeks before the wedding day dumating si husband. Inarrange ko din yun canonical interview and pre cana schedule namin. Yung marriage banns naman kinuha ko sa church kung san kami ikakasal 2 letter yun tapos dinala ko sa church namin at sa church ni husband. Tapos sinabi lang samin kelan babalikan binalikan ko nalang tapos sinubmit sa church kung san kami ikakasal yun kasama na din yun marriage license namin.

kaya naman ba yun sis kahit 1 month before the wedding ang uwi namen sa pinas?
don palang namen lalakarin yung sa church kung saan kame ikakasal?

^yes sis yung canon interview sa church kung san kayo ikakasal. Once nakabook ka na sa church mo ask mo sila kung kelan sched. Kami nag canon interview 10 days before the wedding kasi 2 weeks before the wedding dumating husband ko. Since nag book kasi kami nagsabi kami na oversas kami pareho kaya mostly pag aayos ng lahat malapit na wedding date

Hello sisses! Need help po regarding documnets. Overseas bride here and my h2b is a foreigner also catholic, we are getting married in Tagaytay, we booked Chapel on the Hill. May i know if how much time do we have to allot regarding marriage license application, marriage bans, canonical interview with the chancery and all the formalities. Stress kase ang time factor, we can't take a leave of more than 6 weeks. Ok lang ba na magpainterview sa chacery and to follow na lang ang marriage license? Hi sis itsdoctin for marriage license, it's only valid for 120 Days (4 months) I think it's better to start working on your requirement for your ML 5 months before your wedding kasi kukuha ka pa ng cenomar, NSO birth certificate and all. For ML, when you submit your requirements siguro mga 1 to 2 weeks you need to attend a family planning seminar tapos pag na complete mo na lahat, 10 days after mare-release yung ML niyo. For the church, it depends sis, most from what I noticed naman pwede ka ng magpa book kahit hindi pa complete requirements mo. Schedule ka na nila ng canonical interview and pre cana seminar. Better ask the church for their process sis kasi iba iba sila eh. Sa amin, nung nagpunta kami ng church complete requirements na kami so they gave us marriage banns na which we forwarded to our respective parish church, tapos they scheduled us same month for the seminar and interview. kaya naman siguro sis ng mga 2 to 3 months yun, may mga transaction din na pwedeng gawin online like getting cenomar and birth certificate.
