I am super exited to see my wedding dress by Edward Teng. Visited him 2 weeks ago, he made me a sketch, and I can't help but look at it every night before going to bed. Haha. I'll have my first fitting in August. Any other Edward Teng brides here? :)

Hi sis!! LOL yes 28 yung waist ng gown hahah Thank GOD I was able to get it down to 28 in the week of the wedding haha. They adjusted it 3 days before the wedding, but back to normal na waistline ko ngayon hehe Kain na ng kain ulit.

Yes according to the designer chapel length yung train, although it does feel longer to me. But I just indicated chapel length since yun yung alam ko hehe. Maybe it seems longer because the train is wide? =)

I had my first fitting last week. Corset pa lang sya. Super sikip, and the designer said ganun daw talaga yung tamang fitting and maybe hindi ako sanay? Ganun ba talaga? Any similar experiences?

^ako sis hindi dapat super sikip. oo masikip sya pero dapat comfy at makakagalaw ka pa din. try to double check this with your designer sis. baka mismong sa wedding day mo pa ikaw mahirapan.

^Re: Rosa Clara, in 2015 they ranged from 70 or 90 (I forgot) and up. Di ko sure this year kasi currently overseas.

girlush: When I visited Rosa Clara early 2015 the gowns were mostly 100-110k from the Aire Barcelona lines.Very nice laces. but the real Rosa Clara label the dont have here because they start at 300k up teehee.

Hi sis! I fell inlove with the gowns I saw kasi sa bridal fair, sabi ko pa nga sakanila bakit hindi updated ang website and other social media accounts nila, but it's nice to see na ngayon updated na. Anyway, tumawag kmi sa phone at nag pa appointment for a meeting, I really had no "peg" I just told him our budget for the gown and asked kung ano ba ang bagay sa body type ko, then he sketched na, giving me choices and explaining the differences. I think he is very flexible with the budget naman, like when we were there there was this ovearseas bride-to-be that called na pinapabago yung details ng dress nya kasi na scam ng wedding coordinator, sounds like magagawan naman nila ng paraan to work within the new budget ng bride. I suggest tumawag ka nalang sis for an appointment, kasi muka talaga silang super busy sa shop nila, kaya siguro hinde maiwasan ma prioritize yung clients na pumupunta duon. I'm sure magugustuhan mo ang gagawin niya for you, he is so talented!

Yes sis iamfarrah! sa kanya nadin ang suit ni H2B pero hinde pa naumpisahan since nag papa payat pa ng konti si H2B. Haha! Good idea na personal mag inquire si Mom mo, pero sana you'll be there personally pag nag sketch sya. I was working abroad din pero nag break muna ako from work para mag focus sa big day namin, nag insist nadin si H2B kasi naman 7 years na kmi nag iipon abroad, siya nalang naiwan dun. Promise theres something magical in choosing your dress, kay Edward or kung sino man ang mapili mo, nakakatuwa totoo pala yung mga nababasa ko about feeling something special when you finally see THE dress.

^hi sis prettylove I booked bridesdream for my Mom's gown 5k ang rate nila I don't have the contract with me right now, but I *think* sila yung supplier ko na na-haggle ko na isama na ang clutch

Hi sis sorry for the late reply.  We booked Paolo Blanco to make my mum's gown and my sister's MOH gown. Together with my cathedral like  veil plus alterations to my RTW wedding gown. I think wala pa syang 20K. Wala lang clutch yung mga gowns na inorder namin but I think he would be able to work with your budget. Another person whom I would want to recommend would ve Kimi Go.  Super pulido yung mga gawa nya sa mga gowns ng secondsry sponsors ko. Tuwang tuwa sila.  We only paid so much, but galing sa amin yung tela and yung design.  In fact, my sister commented na mas gusto nya yung gawa sa mga secondary sponsors ko, kesa sa gown nya, kasi di pa daw tapos yung wedding, nagninisnis na despite powerknit yung fabric and all,yung sa secondary sponsors namin, ang binili naming tela eh chiffon and charmeuse.  He also designs naman. And may malasakit sya, yun yung nagustuhan namin sa kanya.

May issue ako before sa isang abay ko (ang nangyari nagback out sya sa pagiging abay). Yung abay ko kasi sya yung pinabili ko ng fabric kasi before yun yung work nya. Binigay ko yung design and nagtanong pa ako kung okay lang sa kanila kahit simple lang, sabi nya okay naman daw. Ang instructions ko lang eh yung lace fabric eh walang sparkle or rhinestones. Nung magpapatahi na, ayaw pa nya bigay yung fabric nila (nasa kanya kasi fabric ng lahat ng SS). Then nung sinabi namin sa iba na kami magpapatahi (kay Kimi Go) dun ko nalaman na sa iba nya pala balak ipatahi yung gown nya, and balak nya eh frontless and backless yung gown nya na long sleeves when ang gusto ko for the SS parehas lang gowns nila. Plus yung fabric pala binili nya yung lace eh not lace pero mesh na tinadtad ng rhinestones. Yung kita na lahat since skintone sya.  Nung nakita ni Kimo Go yung fabric, sya mismo yung nagtanong kung nakita ko na daw ba yung lace na tela. And sinabi nya na hindi kasi sya pang abay. More pang party  (think awards night) ang peg. Or yung pang guest na magpapatalbog. Sabi din ni Kimi Go, unless may go signal ko, dun nya lang gagawin yung gown. And tama sya. I didn't see the fabric until that time, kasi every time na tinatanong ko sa friend ko, di nya pinapakita. Anyways long story short, we bought a different lace. And my secondary sponsors actually loved it kasi it was in theme with my motiff, simple, romantic and dainty. Binili naming lace, yung katulad ng gusto ko sa gown design nila talaga. Yun lang nga yung friend ko backed out. Pero happy pa din ako kasi na-achieve yung look and may cohesion lahat ng abay ko. Walang patalbugan. Lahat nag shine yung ganda nila

I might get her if she is reasonably priced. She's very close to where my parents live so it's very convenient.

I'm getting Paolo Blanco to do my MOH dress for January. So far, sya ang may pinaka reasonable na quote among the others I inquired to. And mabilis din magreply.

Mine is Merlene Marcelo Couture. She's very friendly at first, pero naging lesser after you booked her. Pero that's okay. Ang important naman is how she does her work. Her price is reasonable naman rin kasi I saw how intricate her designs eh lalo na with her beadings and artworks. I already had my first fitting, ang bilis! So far, okay naman fitting. It fits me well. Blank pa lang sya so I dunno if the beadings/laces would look nice. Can't wait for the second fitting!
