Weight loss plateau

How do you beat this mga sis? I mean, sagad na ang diet ko at 1200 calories. Pag binaba ko pa yan baka hindi na healthy and advisable. I've been working out din. This is so frustrating. Maybe 5 years from now iniisip ko baka kelangan wiwi nalang pahinga sa pag work out para lang patuloy na bumaba ang timbang or mamaintain man lang.

Maybe you should eat more? Napakababa na ng 1200 calories mo, starvation mode ka na yata, your body's holding on to the fat you have. You could even be living on less than 1200 calories a day if you work or study and exercise a lot.

Ako kasi I got out of the plateau when I changed my exercise pattern, from every night Zumba or treadmill for 45 mins max ginawa kong 4 to 5 days a week of lunchtime walk or pilates; at night naman fitnessblender, jillian michaels basta may bodyweight, theraband, dumbbells or jogging sa treadmill in the gym 30 mins max 4 times a week. I eat a balanced and healthy diet most days of the week with the occassional Filipino, Chinese, Viet or Thai food and sweets kaya exercise lang binago ko.

I also plateaued before on my weight loss journey. boxing ako 3-5x a week but i noticed my weight wont change. so i started running, weight training, pilates and spinning.. Ayun biglang naglose ako a pound per day, i reached my goal! just mix and mix every workout you should be fine

ako din dati nag stop losing weight. i was eating like 1200 calories or less per day kaso hinde ako mag lose ng weight. i ate more than 1200 and i gained 10lbs. WTF! now i cannot control my weight, hinde ko na alam pan mag loose pa.

I remembered doing the fasted exercise in the morning after waking up just like what she did, it helped me with getting out of the plateau, 2 weeks of doing it I lost 2 kilos. Problema I'm not a morning person hindi ko rin na-sustain.

Isang factor ang hormonal imbalance. I struggle with this too.  :-\

I struggle with this too. minsan kaka frustrate na magpapayat though my changes ka nakikita sa body mo pero number wise wala. pero keep on working out pa rin. I worked out 4x a week dati at in 3 months didnt lost a bit then when I stopped dun bigla bumaba timbang ko ng 3kg. pero shempre parang di rin halata haha then after a month nagresume na ulit ako. di pa ako nagtitimbang ulit. I eat less rice at usually oatmeal for bfast. mas mabilis pa ko tumaba kesa pumayat. struggle of slow metabolism.
There's no reason to look back when you have so much to look forward to.

I know to each his own pero ang diet ng mga friends ko, pag indulge na sa akin yun. Kung sila sudden drop ng weight, ako lolobo kapag ganun. I tried boiled kamote diet, ang veggies with skinless chicken breast diet (no salt). Walang weight loss! Not even a pound. Tried working out for 3 months. Nag gain pa ako. Now nag trey ako mag combo diet and exercise. In one week nag lose lang ako ng half pound. Ang tumal diba? Ang lumbay lang.

While thinking of how to beat this, I chance upon this thread. Rebound ako lagi sa diet and exercise ko lalo kakatapos lang ng holidays. I read every diet book I can get my hands to. I tried military diet, took garcinia cambogia, lemon, ACV, running, jumping jacks, walking, no rice, brown rice, red rice,
I feel so frustrated already. I stopped taking pills na I thought was a factor.
Today, I saw a photo with me in it, posted sa facebook and realize how big I am already. I can't fit in my clothes anymore and there are just a few I can wear.
I read Chicken Soup for The Dieter's soul and most of the time I get motivated and then go back to eating again and self indulgence. I'll lose some then gain again.
KALOKA! I need something. This is good kasi kaka new year lang, hopefully I can pull it off and lose as much weight as I can before year ends. :)
