First timer din kami ng kasama ko, mid or end naman ng march ang plan namin pumunta. Baka mas makapal na lumot sa travel date namin.

pag summer talaga malumot, usually hanggang june siguro. kasi last year nandon ako nong may ang kapal ng lumot eh. halos ayaw mong lumusong sa tubig. kaya don kami nag-swim sa puka beach

Next year, we'll try to go there first week ng January or December this year depende sa seat sale.  Pero enjoy pa din mga sis. I will post a picture here. I will make a flickr account nalang muna. Pero Boracay is Boracay. Iba talaga vibe dun, ang saya saya lang.

Pero Boarcay is Boracay.

Naku yan din sinabi ng makakasama ko nung inaya ko na magBohol na lang kami instead of Boracay dahil malumot nga. Feeling nila di sulit pagpunta sa Pinas kung di papasyal sa Boracay.

just came back from boracay and ngayon ko lang na experience na super malumot sya , been going there for the past 10 years and ngayon ko lang sya nakita na ganun kadami ang lumot. Mejo may amoy din sya. Boracay should start implementing no Plastic policy kasi grabe na talaga ang basura. Padami din kasi ng padami ang mga tourist. Paubos na din ang mga bundok at forest nila. Nakakalungkot makita na yung forest nasisira na. May bagong ATV dun, it is way better than the old one na aakyat sa MT. Luho. Off road talaga ang dadaanan nyo . Yung station nya is near Puka Beach and the new GO CART race track.  Nag try kami kumain sa PAUPATRI restaurant and huwaw talaga ang mahal ng food nila considering na lahat halos ay pinoy food. Imagine the adobong native chicken nila is P1,400  tapos ang sinigang nila around 800 ..kaloka. Maganda lang ang ambiance pero nothing really special. Mas nag enjoy pa kami kumain sa Sunny Side Cafe and Spice Bird.

Grabe mga domestic flights kung hindi delayed eh canceled. Originally 4pm ang flight namin pa Kalibo via PAL then na move ng 7pm. while on board nag announce na ang pilot to prepare for landing, tapos mga 30-45 mins di pa rin kami lumalapag sa Kalibo then nag announce ang assistant Captain na need bumalik ng Manila due to zero visibility and malakas ulan sa Kalibo. Bumalik kami ng Manila ng 12midnight. Sabi ng PAL wala ng flights available earliest is 4pm the following day. Syempre ayaw namin at nakipag usap kami sa manager ayun nilipat kami ng flight pa Roxas City , Capiz , dumating kami ng Capiz ng 6:30am. Then nag van kami to Caticlan ng 4 hrs ..hay kakapagod talaga. Pero overall nag enjoy pa rin kami kahit maulan at malakas ang alon.

^ last time I was in Bora was also around Jan/Feb. Never went back nga kasi yung lumot. Then island were private narin. Tapos feeling ko siksikan na stalls sa talipapa

I have been going to Boracay since mid 90s to mid 2000. I saw how the place deteriorated. Mid 90s double ang beach front. One layer lang yung establishments, and may distance pa between them. No lumot, just clear water, with fish swimming. Daming isda, you don't need to bring bread for them to come. Those were the days...

We're in boracay from friday till yesterday. True malumot na. Pinaka grabe sa station 3. Sa station 1 mild lang. Malulam din ang skies and 2 times namin ni cancel ang paraw sailing kasi wala naman sunset. inenjoy nalang namin yung food and drinks every night. Sa puka beach super lakas din ng alon pero mas malinis naman. Dun kami matagal nag swim. Grabe lang din sa dami ng chinese/koreans () Ang ingay pa nila. :p it's my first time in bora, 2 na kasama ko old timers. Ask nila what can I say daw.. Well, in terms of activities and all, bora is really thriving.. Pero sa beach (water and sand), I'd still prefer calaguas. :p haay better be back ng ber months to appreciate the sea.

Here's my other reviews:
1. Accommodation
Kalibo- 1 night - Aranas Carillo Inn - clean, good water pressure, friendly staff but unfortunately incompetent. We booked them via booking.com at 700php only pero come the day itself, naging 1,184. Siguro dahil sinunso nila kami sa airport. Pero we didn't ask for it. So akala namin complementary. If your staying with them, better ask them/confirm first. Then ang aircon nila ang cute cute.. As in super liit. Akala namin di na lalamig ang room. Dont stay here pag summer. For sure super init nun. Around 2:30am nawalan ng kuryenta room namin. As in room lang pala namin! Kung hindi pa sila babain, walang mangyayari. Nilipat kami ng room (na kami pa ang nagsuggest kasi di maayos yung kuryente) around 5:00am na. E aalis kami ng 6am. Common cr pa yung napuntahan namin, pero clean naman. Sa mga magsstay ng kalibo, choose nalang ng iba.

Boracay - Boracay Haven Resort 2 nights
Our room was loft type. Super laki nya, kasya 8 pax.. 4 on extra beds. Clean, goid quality of linens, toiletries etc. Best customer service. We arrived at 10am, dropped our baggage and came back after lunch around 1pm. Our room was ready na and pinag check in na nila kami. 3 times yata sila mag clean ng room kasi kada balik namin maayos na naman. Kakatuwa. And fresh towels always. Kalahinayang lang sa towels malinis pa naman. They provided promptly all our requests. As in like 5 minutes tops andyan na request mo. Hands down. That compensated for a so-so breakfast spread. :p Their parasailing also mas mura, 1350 per head lang. Sa labas kasi 1.5k pinakamura namin nakita.

2. Food: we ate here:
-Ole, Station 2 - taste is fine.. Medyo pricey at 400-500/per order
-Boracay Mandarin's Restaurant (Don Vito) dinner by the beach - sarap and mura the food. We payed 1.2k only (fresh seafoods na sila magluluto) for 4 viands. Sarap din their cocktails priced at 200php per drink. Magaling yung acoustic band and fire dancers that night.
- d talipapa paluto i forgot the name basta yung pinakadulo katabi ng Natalia's kitchen: mabait si ate maasikaso. Good and affordable service
-aria - pricey pero masarap and nakakabusog.
-globys- ganda ng ambiance at night.. Sofa by the beach under the stars.. Good service as well, moderately priced. Yung drink ng sister ko, mqtabang pagkatimpla pero halos naubos na nya(haha!!!) When we reported it pinalitan pa din nila. Hehe.
-d talipapa plato d boracay - pangit and super tagal service, di ko alam sa paluto pala pag may gulay yung gusto mo luto ikaw pa bibili? Nagpasinigang sa miso kasi kami, ultimo sibuyas at kamatis pinabili samin, pati knorr sinigang mix sa miso!! Grabe parang kahit sino maluluto  yon. Kaloka. Will never return to that place!!

3. Activities - kay kuya jun samonte kami ng diamond tours, mabait sya, madaling kausap and hindi namimilit.

just got back from bora
super dami ng mga koreans and other foreigners in general

we stayed at station2 sheena's hotel with a room na ocean view.
sakto tulugan lang. walang special. pero ok na din kasi hindi maingay
pero still nasa gitna kami ng lahat ng resto and malls. malapit siya sa taj guesthouse.

so bumawi kami sa pagkain
was going to try SMOKE pero lagi puno.
And malangaw yung place. sabi masarap daw kasi dun.

We ate dinner at boracay uptown. i forgot the name of the restaurant... hindi masarap food.

Fave place for food Dos Mestizos. I love yung mga tapas like the shrimp
and seafood paella.

We also went to shangrila Solano Bar for the view kaso gabi na kami nakapunta. Nakalimutan ko yung drink na inorder namin haha. we ate sa sirena kaso sa labas kami na table kasi hindi nakapagreserve. Food was just okay. Hindi ko alam if malamig food na sinerve or lumamig agad dahil sa lakas ng hangin sa labas.

okay ang servings and malinis ang place.



as for boracay.. nakakadisappoint yung byahe kasi lahat nalang delayed.
Delayed flight going to Kalibo 2hrs..delayed transfers via southwest bus 30mins

plus ang dumi dumi at ang gulo tignan ng port... at ng boracay town. Pagbaba ko nga hala ito na yun? para lang ako nasa cavite.  Anyway maganda padin naman beach in the morning.

pauwi namin delayed for 2 and half hours ang flight. And nakakahiya pa kasi yung sound system sa kalibo airport palpak. Parang fart sounds kapag may inaanounce. Grabe tawanan mga foreigners pinagtatawanan ang airport natin.

in my opinion caticlan nalang instead of kalibo kung 3 days ka lang sa boracay. para hindi masayang oras sa byahe.

 kung southwest transfers.. sa airplane kayo bumili kasi mas mura.

^agree with you on kalibo airport ilovejdy. super palpak, ang lawak pa ng place ayaw lagyan ng upuan. para tuloy evacuees mga tao. kami nga 5 hrs delayed pauw (airasia).

just want to share lang ginawa naming diy transfers. ok to kung all adults naman ang group. we only spent: 300 (kalibo to bora) - van-100 boat-25 environmental fee-75 terminal fee- 100
225 (bora-kalibo) - boat-25 terminal fee-75 van-100

Total:525 only compared sa southwest na 1.2k halos

Hi mga sis, ask ko lang anong mas prefer niyo sa Casa Fiesta or La Fiesta? Torned kase ako since first time ko mag stay if ever sa both hotel. Now ko lang din na realize na same owners pala sila haha...nag rerequire talaga sila ng 50% dp? Sa mga naka stay na sa La Fiesta, we are 5pax kase inaalok niya is standard room(good for 2) then extra 3pax na lang. 2 double beds naman daw and inassure na malalaki ang rooms nila. Thanks

Sa southwest kinukuha namin sis yung door-to-door without government fees. P900 per person sis last time I went. Bus from Kalibo airport to Caticlan Port, then yung fast ferry to Boracay. From there may shuttle from na ihahatid ka mismo sa hotel nyo. And then day ng pauwi kayo ganun din, ssunduin kayo

^I miss boracay already. the best talaga. last year thrice akong nagpunta and wala akong madaming lumot na na-encounter. if meron man super minimal at sa station 3 lang. went there 1st wk ng January,  Last wk of May, and Mid- December. I guess lucky kami last yr. 

2014 naexperience ko ang lumot, we went there April. at yung nga malumot kapag summer talaga.

at true padami ng padami ang koreans sa boracay, I get jelly everytime nakikita ko sila in a bikini, ang puputi and makikinis talaga.

Pls. suggest yung mga newer accommodation along the beach in Boracay, meron ba? Yung parang ka price lang ng La Fiesta, Casa Fiesta, etc.

We'll be there on April, may kasama kasi kaming balikbayan kaya naghahanap ako ng medyo matinong accommodation. Thank you!

And new restaurants to try din in Boracay particularly Filipino food.
