My uni classmate's parents own Residencia. It's right beside Two Seasons, cheap, good brekkie naman, and beachfront.

Anyway, we're staying in Boracay Regency for 3 nights. We got their full board package which includes all government fees... what are these government fees anyway? Medyo matagal na since I've been to Boracay so di ko alam kung nagbayad ba kami nito last time or what. Trying to jog my memory pero wala talaga

Going to the island on chinese new tear long weekend. Feb 5 ng 9pm ang dating namin sa Kalibo. Anong ok na hotel mag stay sa kalibo until mag umaga mga sis?

Sis mysterioza_me, sobrang malumot na ang March. Andun kami March 2013, ang hirap ng maligo sa dagat kasi ang daming lumot. Update ko kayo next week kung clear pa and walang lumot 2012 kasi first week of February, perfect ang beach walang ka lumot lumot. Sarap maligo.

Sis mindiegirl, we stayed in Ati Atihan Festival Hotel. Pero hindi ito pwede sa mga maselan na tao  Natulog lang kasi din kami dito eh.

Summer time ang lumot season sa Boracay unfortunately.

since we're going as a family and puro oldies kasama ko
kaya no to activities na nakakapagod.. what would you girls
suggest? BTW may 1 child na 4 y.o. na kasama.

also any good restaurants there? not looking for cheap since dito nalang
kami babawi sa food. D' Talipapa is already on the list...

May mga high end hotel restaurant ba na pwede mag dine and use some facilities na din
kahit hindi ka dun naka check-in?

^2 years ago ako nag-Boracay, dinner sa Discovery Shores, I had the seafood platter shared with my cousin and a chocolate dessert; sorry pero disappointed ako kasi the prawns, crabs, etc weren't fresh and ang papayat pa. Mas mahal pagkain nila kaysa Shangrila.

Sa Shangrila naman lunch sa restaurant near the pool, nothing spectacular din, I had a steak, pinsan ko had pork adobo. Afternoon snack naman, soggy lettuce and one piece of ham sa kanilang sandwich. Mabait naman staff nila very attentive. That time sabi sa amin hindi kami pwede gumamit ng pool pero pwede yata ang beach na nakakatakot that time kasi lakas ng hangin kaya we just stayed at the cabanas being lazy, kuwentuhan lang, order ng drinks. Ganda din ng garden nila. We went there by tricycle, pauwi naman free shuttle nila na mahaba na pila at dinnertime.

Nakapag-splurge ako sa pagkain that time kasi sa family friend namin may bahay doon na 5 minutes lang by tricycle from the port. My rates were discounted then breakfast they fed us saging, mangosteen, grilled eggplant, grilled tilapia kaya siguro disappointed ako sa nakain ko sa 2 hotels na iyan.

^^ don't miss the sea breeze cafe sis, the best ang buffet nila. i forgot na kung magkano pero winner talaga yung dinner and bfast buffet.

pero for me, the best food experience sa bora, yung mga cheap eats lang. well not really "cheap", sa jonah's, smoke, and the likes.

^^ sis ataypool noted! thanks sa mga input. nagcheck din ako reviews and hindi nga okay sa RIMA ng shangrila .. the solano part na more on bar lang ang medyo maganda feedback sa kanila... pero will still keep that one on the list para makita na din yun facilities at view sa shang 😊

Mukhang foodtrip talaga kami sa bora. buti puro one piece binili ko at ng hindi mahalata ang tyan. haha

^ no prob! chicken khao pad lang talaga ang binabalik balikan ko sa smoke, hehe. may i add na din aria cucina, if you feel like going italian. that one, mejo pricey pero nasarapan naman kami sa pizza nila.

nung pumunta kami dun last year, eto mga kinainan namin: Sbarro(bilang favorite to ng anak ko), Tilapia N Chips, The Sunny Side Cafe, Aria Cucina, tsaka Real Coffee. Pinakagusto ko yung The Sunny Side Cafe kase super sarap ng pancakes, anlaki pa ng servings!

mga sis planning to go to Bora end of April pa naman. ano recommended nyo na airfare promo (if there's any) and how much kaya ang expense 5 kami 3 adults and 2 children (1 y/o and 4 y/o) sorry 1st time

Ita-try talaga namin yang The Sunny Side Cafe, pancake monster itong anak ko eh. Masyado ba siyang malayo from D Mall? Sa Tan's kasi kami mag stay for the first two nights. Dun kami mag try ng first breakfast namin.  Sis hann-hann may breakfast rice meals din ba sila? Kanin talaga kasi breakfast ng Husband ko.

^yes sis may breakfast rice meals sila! kami din sa Tan's nun! hehe pero sa Annex kami. naglakad lang kami nun mula Tan's hanggang resto, tapos ayun, pagod na pagod yung anak ko sa kakalakad. hehe. pwede yata kayo mag tricyle sis, sabihin nyo na lang ibaba kayo sa boracay sands hotel. andun kasi yung resto

By the way two of my friends
just went to bora this week. Sa pictures nila medyo gloomy yung sky. Pero other than that... super dami daw koreans! As my friend said.. "boracay is the new korea"
with pictures na puro korean nasa background nila.

sakto chinese new year na din kasi.
hopefully hindi masyado madami tao
kapag pumunta kami since weekdays yung pinabook namin.

^ totoo pag hindi pa summer, halos outnumbered ng mga koreans ang pinoy tourists hehe pag summer lang nagkakatalo.

for activities, i highly recommend ate remy, nandun lang sha sa mga puno nakatambay almost katapat ng army navy, if i remember it right. pwede nyo sha ipagtanong. nung pumunta kami last december sa kanya yung pinakamurang na-canvas namin na rates. not sure if i can post her number here, if anyone's interested pm me nalang

^ Hi Sis! that was august so off-peak na when we stayed at Sur Boracay! Our room is good for 3, around 4k lang sya a night. I mean not bad for a beach front hotel at station 1. The room is great, sobrang maluwag and with ref, tv, cool aircon. 1 queen size bed and one single bed.  The location is the best (beside two seasons hotel), with chairs/beach beds sa harap then your facing the beach. You get half the price of the more prestigious hotels at station 1 but get the same benefit!

It was my birthday at that time so the resort even offered us 10 % discount. Also, we arrived around 12 or 2 a.m. na. but check in is still at 12 pm, they allowed us to stay in our rooms and even offered us our welcome drinks at that time. Although they charge us for half the price of the room, I really don't mind kasi kung ibang resort yan they would not charge half but the entire price of the room for a day.

It comes with a free buffet breakfast. One thing I liked about this resort are the staff. Ever since booking stage until the day we arrived, madali silang kausap ang prompt ang reply sa inquiries thru email. I hope this helps Sis!

Just got back from Boracay, mamaya na ako or bukas magkwento about our trip. Pero post ko yung promise kong update. Ang lungkot lang kasi malumot na ang dagat  From January 28 to February 1 which is kahapon malumot na. Pero not as bad kapag March. This season pwede ka pang lumayo kasi mababaw lang naman para umiwas sa mga lumot.
