Kanto FreeStyle in Burgos Makati is a bomb! worth the money , sarap ng New Zealand Tapa nila.

Morganfield's, Uptown Mall BGC - Their specialty is supposedly their "Sticky Bones" (baby back ribs), but I honestly didn't find it extraordinary. It was all right. I finished it, but I didn't think it was anything special. My husband didn't love his Pork Ragout and spicy sausage pasta either. Ok lang, nothing special. I did like their nachos and Crab and Spinach dip and their berry shake. For the high price, I expected to be bowled over and I wasn't.

Peri-peri Charcoal Chicken, UP Town Center

Their set meal of 1 whole roasted peri-peri chicken and 1/2 slab baby back ribs with 4 big cups of rice, 2 small cups of corn and carrots and cole slaw is super sulit at Php1,200++.

The chicken is really tasty and juicy, with the sauces complementing it.  The baby back ribs is fall-off-the-bone tender. 

Highly recommended!

Antonio's Breakfast Tagaytay

We ate here recently after a long interval.

Yung tapa and eggs benedict medyo salty while yung waffles and pancake okay lang.

Lee Hak Korean Restaurant (kapitolyo, pasig)
 -  my friends and i went here yesterday, natuwa ako sa ambience nakaaaliw pero the place smells in some areas, medyo luma na din kasi.
Wala naman akong negative feedback sa food, very cheap for a buffet (365 per head) but there's nothing special with it. But I like their kimchi and chapchae, though. I don't really eat kimchi pero sa Lee Hak ok na ok sya for me.

Verbena Restaurant, Discovery Suites Tagaytay

Nag-ocular kami ng bestfriends ko dito for her possible after-wedding party. Sarap ng carbonara at adobo nila I did not like the pizza though.

Chocolate Kiss UP town center

I didn't have high hopes for their eggplant broccoli oil-based pasta pero masarap sya! If you like eggplant, you'll love this as the taste of eggplant in it lingers in every bite. It was an easy new favorite, considering that I ordered it only because i came in without an appetite and this was the cheapest pasta entry haha

For dessert I had date and walnut. Wow super sarap to. You know how it is sometimes when the concept of a cake is so much better than the actual cake? Not at all with this one. It's so yummy OMG

^Mukhang mas ok na yata to eat at their newer branches than at the old one.  We ate there last month lang and na-disappoint ako sa itsura ng lugar.  Ang dumi na and flies everywhere.  Not at all the Chocolate Kiss I remembered during my college days.  Sana i-spruce up naman ng owners kasi classic pa din ang Diliman location nila.

Pero oo nga yan rin yung reklamo nung friend ko na semi regularly pumupunta dun. Tapos yung isang branch sa roces, sarado na rin daw. Mismanaged kaya? Sayang if so kasi masarap Ang food Nila at fi naman mahal.

Actually etong sa uptown although it looks nicely decorated naman eh monoblock chairs nila 😂 Pero Sige we came there for the food at doon very satisfied ako.

Restaurants/food I've tried recently:

Frazzled Cook, Tomas Morato - Truffle pasta is good. I love the creamy and earthy combination, with a kick of bacon. Will go back to try the other dishes

Stacy's, Capitol Hills QC - I ordered the meat potato pie with rice. Okay lang sya for me, tasty but too oily. Not excited to go back here, I'd rather try other restaurants.

Nihonbashitei, Tomas Morato - I remember the gyoza, a plate of sushi and sashimi and katsudon, all yummy! Will return there for sure

Livestock, Tomas Morato - crispy pata is truly very tender though the meat is not as tasty as I expected. It's good naman but I personally think it's overhyped. I didn't like their bacon wrapped wings, the flavors were too overwhelming

Mama Lou's in PQ - to die for Rib Eye Steak and Truffle Mac n Cheese. Mama lou's special pizza is good, too. Can't wait to go back to this restaurant to try their other dishes!

Morganfield's, Uptown Mall BGC - Jack Daniel's Iberico Baby Back Ribs, meat is tasty,  tender and truly falls off the bone, I'll definitely order this again. Crab and spinach dip is good, too. Seafood basket is so so, not worth the price and the calories. I'm curious about the smoked peppercorn ribs

Paella Y Mas at Festival mall alabang.
Nice ambiance
minimalist black and white ang ganda ng place
Paella is not that expensive and crew speaks Spanish too.
they also serve chicken schnitzel - not sure if Spanish dish

Hugot Cafe in Batangas City - simple lang ang food and iilan lang ang menu items. Fries, nachos, waffles, corndogs... plus milkshakes and hot coffee. But super nakakaaliw kasi yung "hugot wall" which is filled with Post-Its na puro hugot lines lol. Pati menu items may hugot -my coffee crumble shake was called, "Pa-Fall" Masarap ang super-cheesy fries and nachos. Loved their coffee crumble shake.

We had onion soup, tomato soup. lobster bisque, angus with fries, salmon salad, escargot and foie gras. We didn't find the food (the ones that we ordered) that great.

Salad Stop - Their Oh Crab Lah is so good!  Super worth it dahil siksik sa ingredients and the dressing super yummy.  Ok din their Caesar and Jai Ho salads and the muesli desserts.  Pero yung Oh Crab Lah talga ang sarap.  Gusto ko tuloy bumili ulit yun nga lang out of the way papasok.

Juju Eats' wraps and salads are good.  Spicy yung caramba but good!

xiao long bao is just ok, kalasa niya yung timpla ng tao yuan. pinakagusto ko pa rin sa lugang kasi mas malasa (even kesa sa din tai fung)

also ordered chicken chop and stir fried noodles...ok naman. marami pa kami gustong tikman, so babalik pa kami.

yung fresh lemon juice with honey nila di ko type. mas masarap pa yung nagtitinda ng freshly squeezed sa ibaba ng sm, yung booth lang. *pero the best lemon squeeze/juice for me is yung sa cyma.

salt & pepper chicken cubes ...trimmings lang talaga siya. may ganito ring dish sa lugang, pero hindi tulad dito na maraming tendon and small bones.

pan fried pork buns. ok naman, pero baka di magustuhan ng iba, medyo maasim siya ng konti.

I was in Marikina market last week to buy UN costumes for my kids and found Krung Thai.  I was planning to eat here for the longest time and it didn't disappoint.  While the bagoong rice is not the best I've tried, I really liked their tom yum goong and chicken satay (juicy even though it's made of chicken breast, which I prefer to the thigh part, by the way; but chicken breast has a tendency to be dry when grilled or roasted).  I will return most definitely to try the other dishes.  Best part is that the prices are so affordable.
