Charito by Bag of Beans

Nice interior, it was rainy when we went there and they are full but it was not chaotic. They have nice view of Taal din, fresh air, cold weather. Very relaxing. Will definitely come back.

Sa food, nothing bad naman.

Staff were nice.

Neil's Kitchen -Westgate Alabang

Sarap ng Kare Kare and Lechon Belly Paella. Super sarap that we went back after 3 days. hehe! I ordered the same meal (Karekare) ayun parang hindi na ako nasarapan. Dapat pala I tried another dish.
Medyo pricey siya ha kasi konti lang ang serving tapos nsa 400ish per meal. Pero sulit naman kasi flavorful talaga.

Lovely place with a stunning view, pretty interiors and artworks

We had breakfast here because Balay Dako was full.  I really love the beef tapa - tender and slightly sweet.  The longaniza is the sweet type but good too.  The bacon though is not crisp enough and thus, my children did not really like it.  The regular coffee is not strong enough for me and my husband.  We'll order the barako next time.

We'll try the blueberry cheesecake next time.

China Blue - Conrad Hotel. Ito orders namin. May iba pa kaming orders pero di ko alam tawag. We asked the manager to order for us kasi.

Tinanong ko pa kasi if sila rin yun nasa bhs, natarayan tuloy ako 😀

Ang sarap ng bread nila. May melted butter na nakabrush sa bread kaya ayaw ko umulit pero if wala naman kayong masamang pinagsamahan ng butter e super sarap talaga.

Gusto ko sa soup yun chili. Masarap rin ang grilled chicken ceasar salad (kalasa ng sa tgif nun nagbukas sila nun mid 90's, bistro group rin itong texas roadhouse), yung skewered shrimps nagustuhan ko rin pati ang steak rice. Ang ribs masyadong matamis para sa akin, ang steak ok lang hindi ko masyado nalasahan kasi busog na ako nun naiserve.

Maayos yun lugar kasi bago pa, masikip kung nakaupo ka sa may booth couches dahil sikip ng legroom.

Gusto ko itry yung beef pares kaya nun nalaman ko may jonas na sa bgc sinubukan namin agad.

Hindi ko gusto yun lasa ng beef pares, matigas yun fried rice na kasama. Buti may chicken mami sila, hindi maalat yun noodles tapos simple lang sahog at mainit ang sabaw.

Yang Chow restaurant in Eton Centris - good Chinese food. Medyo mahal lang yung container for takeout. 20 pesos din ah.

Nice concept, good enough food, a bit overpriced.

Mas masarap ang burrito sa El Chupacabra pa rin.

First time namin sa Four Seasons Hotpot. Vikings din pala may ari nito.

You'll never go wrong with Chinese food talaga. Syempre the hotpot was the best for me. May mga dish na so so but most were good. Desserts were yummy din.

gusto ko lahat ng klase ng potato sides nila and creole grilled chicken. we usually eat at up town center. marami silang ice cream pero ok lang for me.

Yes masarap yung potato sides nila. And I discovered, may Mad Marks din sa BGC and yung veggies nila is different from the veggies served in Glorietta pero pag nag ccrave kami for affordable steak sa Mad Marks kami

^Iba nga yung lasa ng Wingstop dito compared sa States, and parang ang papayat ng wings.  Hindi nila siguro fully ma-replicate.

I also want to add the Bake n' Bacon in Solenad Nuvali is also a great place to try and eat. We already tried their maple fried chicken. Affordable sya and kid friendly because you can borrow books, magazines and board games to pass time. One thing I like about them is a great customer service kasi na-delay yung isang order namin sa kanila because my problem ata sa fryer nila, they gave us a free vanilla ice cream with bacon bits.

Yung crazy Katsu sa maginhawa, masarap sya ha at di rin naman mahal.

Marami akong naririnig na good reviews sa Eat Fresh sa Banawe. Has anyone tried?

Quick Manila trip, stayed in Eastwood.

Katsu Sora - reasonable priced Katsu; I had the Iberico pork katsu, taste is okay. Unlimited rice, salad, tea.

The Beef Barn - 100g angus roast beef and 2 vegetable sides bought ala-carte, wala pa 300 pesos; may meal na meat, sides and rice for 150 pesos. Okay ang lasa at presyo.

Mesa - Wala pala sila pang-isang tao sa mains. Again, okay taste and price. Isang tilapia pinaputok lang expected ko bigla ako 2 pala.

Costa coffee - mahal pero okay na rin, less people and tahimik. Salad and sandwiches premade pero hindi naman masama ang lasa and hindi sobrang mahal.

Cafe Enye - chorizo and plantain omellette; malaki pero parang isang maliit na patak lang chorizo and plantain.

Manam - the Fort branch - ordered from the classics range; konti lang ang lamang ng lasa niya from the mid-ranged Pinoy restos like Max. Maybe if I go back, order ako sa fusion range nila baka ma-impress ako.

Cafe Mary Grace - NAIA terminal 3 - impressive seafood pasta kasi madami ang seafood. Mango Bene I like better than Conti's Mango Bravo hindi kasi kakaumay.

JCo - puwede na but I still prefer the American donuts like Krispy Kreme, Mister Donut and Dunkin Donuts.

Churreria La Lola - I like the classic churros with the dark chocolate dip. Mistake in ordering the chocolate covered churros kasi sobrang tamis.

Dexter's Bakeshop - masarap na old-style ensaymada na makapal, parang brioche. Pianono's cheap and delicious.

XO 46 Heritage Bistro at Salcedo Village

Every dish that we ordered is yummy.  My favorites are the ginataang santol, Pancit Binondo and sugpo sa aligue.

Sarsa at UP Town Center

My husband and I really liked the roasted squash with sitaw while my children liked the lechon Macau.

Chocolate Kiss at UP Town Center

For some reason, my chicken a la Kiev was not how I remembered it.  I prefer dining at the original branch inside UP.

Over the past 2 weeks:

XO 46 Heritage Bistro in Capitol Commons
masarap lahat except for the pancit. funny din yung 'Senyorita/Senyorito' nila.
Price is ok din.

Gyro V at  SM North - ordered beef rice, ang tigas ng beef, sarap ng iced tea. affordable naman

Lazy Bastard at UP Town Center - we liked the classic dog and the onion rings, calamantea also is nice. Sana regular burger na lang kami instead of Sloppy Joe, medyo hinde ko nagustuhan.

Nook Cafe at Maginhawa - had 2 queue for 2 hrs on a Saturday. Buttebeer is ok but too sweet. their other drinks looks interesting naman. We had Chocolate Match as recommended by staff, sana iba na lang siguro hinde naman type ang lasa. Food is OK. The place is very small, I think around 6 tables lang. Dagdagan pa sana nila ng harry potter stuffs, medyo kulang pa.

Don Day Korean BBQ at Kalayaan - affordable buffet, limited spread but for the price ok na din.

If you want to try it, you have to make a reservation. May 2 seating siya pag dinner: 6pm to 8pm and 8 pm to 10pm. Kelangan i-specify when making a reservation kung ano yung preference.

Casa Marikit in Lipa, Batangas

- the place is very cozy especially at night. Their pastas are divine, especially the penne with shrimp and mascarpone. Be prepared to shell out though cus it's quite expensive.

Lola Cafe + Bar at Scout Lozano, QC

My friends and I had a long and leisurely lunch here over the weekend.  The standout dishes are the truffled lengua (so good!) and crispy Maskara (pork cheeks) or their alternative take on crispy pata, using pork cheeks instead of hind leg.  The gising-gising express is also good while the laing is just ordinary.  I didn't like the Wagyu salpicao because there was an aftertaste.
