Hi! For those na naka-try na, alin ang mas magandang way to view the Banpo Moonlight Rainbow Fountain show? Via cruise or yung pupunta ka lang doon sa may bridge? Naisip ko kase baka lugi if we will take the cruise at di naman makakalapit doon to get a nice view. If ever we will take the cruise, saan maganda sumakay, sa Jamsil dock or sa Yeouido?

If we opt to go to the bridge na lang, sobrang layo ba ng lalakarin from Express Bus Terminal exit? Or may mas magandang route ba kayong alam.

Please help.

For me sis, better if you just stay at the bridge park for better viewing, bring snacks may mga nag camping din sa park minsan.  I haven't try the cruise though.  Pero kung madami ka budget why not?
Nung nagpunta ako, nag subway lang ako sis, mahaba yung lakaran from subway going to the bridge pero worth naman kasi park naman sya so lalakarin talaga.  May bike rentals alam ko.
I'm not sure kung same layo ng lalakarin if galing ng bus terminal.

^ Thanks for your input, sis. Yun nga problem ko if we go to the Banpo park. Mahaba ang lalakarin from the subway (Express Bus Terminal station).  Mga 1 km yata. Kasama ko kase kids ko, medyo tamad maglakad. If mag-taxi kaya, pwede ibaba na doon mismo? We'll go here after namin mag-Lotte / Seokchon Lake. Kaya naisip ko, to avoid the long walk, mag-cruise na lang kami. May sakayan yata sa Jamsil area, para at least, malapit na.  I have read lang some reviews na if via cruise, di naman daw masyado lumalapit sa bridge mismo yung ferry so baka bitin sa view. Waaah, I can't decide...

@sis prity_chloe plan nga din namen mag city tour bus, kaya lang daming di ok na reviews sa trip advisor.. like parang ma waste daw ang time sa traffic..

I will be traveling solo this November end to Seoul/Busan. Entry point is Seoul, Exit is Busan.
I have two itineraries, I'm not sure which is better/feasible.

Itinerary A:
Day 3: (Seoul)
Half Day DMZ
N tower
Dongdaemun

Day 4: (Busan)
Travel to Busan, leave luggage in Hostel in Nampodong
Gamcheon Culture Village
Jagalchi Fish Market
Yongdusan Park and Busan Tower
Nampodong

Day 5: (Busan)
Heaundae Beach
Apec House
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
940pm flight back to MNL from Busan


Itinerary B:
Day 3: (Seoul to Busan)
Gyeongbokgung Palace
N Tower
Travel to Busan, check in Heaundae

Day 4: (Busan)
Heaundae Beach
Apec House
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
Gwangan Bridge
Check out of Heaundae, Checkin in Nampodong

Day 5:
Same as Day 4 of Itinerary A
Departure for MNL

For Itinerary B -- I will have 3 accommodations. 1 for Seoul and 2 for Busan, I think kaya naman kasi solo lang ako, pero hindi ko sure kung sulit?
Kaya ko lang gusto mag overnight sa Heaundae Beach is for the sunrise and to see the Gwangan Bridge -- sulit ba ito?

^^ sis fallen, sa April pa kami pupunta. may rainbow fountain show by that time. I read reviews and blogs, and I have finally decided that we'll just take the cruise sa Yeouido.

^sis may nadiscover kaming nearer exit .....malapit sa exit 8 ng orange line ng express bus terminal. You have to follow yung line 9 sinbanpo palabas ng banpo daero intersection (yung intersection papuntang banpo) look for gangnam terminal underground shopping center mismong name nya pag nasa may exit 8 ka ng express bus. Parang from exit 8 kung nakaharap ka sa han river nasa left side yung way papuntang food zone going to this gangnam terminal underground shopping center. Sa dulo nito yung exit. Pag labas mo dyan sa gilid ka na ng intersection heading out to banpo. Mas mabilis dumaan underground kaysa sa taas. Hope this helps.

^Thanks sis! So pag nasa Express Bus Terminal na, we should not exit through Exit 8-1 muna? Daan kami through the underground shopping center, tama ba? Then we'll emerge na sa mismong side ng papuntang Banpo. I saw sa google maps nasa left side heading to Banpo Bridge , merong parang underground exit, yun ba yung lalabasan sis?

It's quite a long walk nga, di kaya magreklamo mga bata? hehe...
I read there are buses too going there, mas malapit ba yung bus stop sis kesa subway? Or same lang?

^ yes sis don't go out sa exit 8 ng orange line, may daan thru the underground shopping center, nalito nga ako noon nung nakita ko yung name na gangnam e hehe e iba naman sya sa gangnam subway shopping...medyo long walk pero i think pag sa baba dadaan hindi masyado mamamalayan.sa dulo ng mga food area yung exit nito as i remember. Buses.... Hindi ako comfy sa buses sis e kasi puro hanggul hehe kaya subway nalang kami hehe

^Thanks a lot, sis! Hopefully di kami maligaw. We're keeping our options open pa rin though--- if via cruise or punta na lang doon sa may bridge. Di ba nakakatakot maglakad doon sa gabi sis pabalik ng subway? Praning lang... Hehe

^medyo madilim sis pero madami naman naglalakad to and from banpo...ang sabi naman sakin they don't touch tourists daw hehe so ok naman.

I just read na 4 days ago officially start na ng winter oh my!! haha and binalikan ko si accuweather dapat ang low ng pagdating namin is -1 lang hay nalo bumaba sa -8!!! Panic mode. Hindi ko alam outfit ko sa -8 hahaha... Browsing through the weeks yung nov 23- na week ang may -8 compared sa ibang weeks and first few weeks ng december huhu sana maski 0 lang. Ang alam ko hirap daw kasi magpasyal if -8 e

^ Madami naman pala naglalakad, sis, so okay lang siguro. Ang worry ko lang talaga yung mga anak ko, baka magreklamo sa haba ng lakad. 

Naranasan ko na sis ang -10C last winter (Dec 2014) sa Korea. Grabe ang lamig! Nanunuot sa gloves ko, kahit heatech yung gloves ha.  So be prepared na lang. Kami that time, 2 layers ng heatech inner wear, both top and bottom, plus fleece top and down jacket at jeans. Medyo mahirap gumala ng malamig pero enjoy na enjoy kami, lalo na yung mga kids ko because of the snow. Wala kasi dito sa atin so they were amused talaga... Enjoy your trip, sis!

Thanks! Di ko kasi mapull up yung hourly forecast kung anong time yung -8 hehe sayang kasi gusto namin magikot ng gabi pero kung super lamig wag nalang hehe.. Naku hindi pa naman heattech yung gloves ko, good to know thank you sis

anyway curious lang mas mura kaya sa korea yung uniqlo? Or same lang dito? Or same kaya sa japan and korea ang pricing? Kasi plan ko dun nalang bumili ng heattech stuff

^Can't tell sis kung mas mura sa Korea yung Uniqlo Heattech products kase dito ko binili lahat ng winter clothing namin. But according to a friend who went to Japan, halos pareho lang daw pricing ng products, doon kase sya bumili ng down jacket kase akala nga mas mura sa Uniqlo Japan kesa dito, eh pareho lang daw halos.

For sure sis, malamig early morning and evening. Pero kaya naman siguro gumala, just wear proper clothing to keep you warm.

^yes halos same price lang dito sa PH ang sa South Korea and Japan Last winter -13 deg C ang pinaka malamig na na experience namin. Mahirap mag tour kapag kulang ang winter outfit mo. Nadala na kasi ako dyan nung first day namin sa Jeju Island. Hindi ko nasuot yung heattech inner wear ko, sorbing lamig. Feeling ko na brain freeze na ko haha. Kaya pag balk ko sa December, prepared na talaga ako haha. Bumili na ako ng heattech gloves, additional heattech leggings and inner wear

^thanks girls good to know sana mali itong si accuweather sna glitch lang kasi nakausap ko korean friend ko nag padala sya ng naver forecast hindi naman sobrang winter lamig. Medyo malabo nga si accuweather, ayoko pa bumili ng super winter outifts hehe dun nalang if ever. Naka sale daw uniqlo this weekend sana pati heattech nila kasali    Anyways yung heattech na "extra warm" meron pala sa korea dito wala

^meron dito sis. namili kasi ako sa Uniqlo SM North nung Friday. Medyo mahal ang extra warm kaya isa lang nabili ko haha. Around 990 pesos ang inner wear na long sleeves 😀

I think the price of uniqlo are the same. I bought mine here in singapore, yung extra warm SGD24 yung ordinary heatech SGD14 nakasale kc sila. Plus you get a GST refund for a minimum purchase of SGD 100

^^ah meron pala dito yung kausap ko kasi sa sm san lazaro sabi wala daw available here kaya binili ko na yung sale na hindi extra warm sayang 😕
