hi sis simang, ang cool ng cake mo. I was also thinking of getting Purple Oven kaso my dilemma is since its not fondant baka malusaw at bumagsak ang cake ko. What cake did you get from Purple Oven?

^hi sis zaji731! we're getting the pistachio cake from them, single layer lang sya. fondant for us is already out of the picture kasi we don't really like those kinds, hehe.

let me know how it'll turn out on your wedding, kung kumusta yung cake. worried kasi talaga ako.
I'm not fond of  fondant icing as well and nasasayangan ako to get the typical layered cake since in all weddings that I've attended, hindi naman nakakain ng bisita ang wedding cake and one time when my parents packed home my sister's wedding cake, nasira lang siya since hindi din nila naman kinan kasi di nila type.

the last wedding i attended this Oct 2015 lang, I do not even remember the couple's cake na din. kaya yaman din lamang na for us couple ang cake, I'd get something that I'd really like to eat and pack home any leftover pa

^kami din sis, inisip din namin di naman nakakain yung cake. We're actually doing a donut tower with the pistachio lime cake on top. Gagawin pa din kasi namin yung cake ceremony kaya maliit lang na cake gusto namin, and then the donuts are for everyone to enjoy since we don't have dessert buffet.

^sis hallerski, i'm not sure if it's the Medix. It's the relatively new church near Our Lady of Mt Carmel. And as far as I know, sa Carmel sila hindi nagkakasal kasi that's what they said when we inquired there..

^^ i had this experience with a designer friend who wanted to do my gown. i turned him down kahit sobrang baba na ng quote niya saken because i didn't want to risk our relationship if the gown didn't turn out okay (syempre worst case ang inisip ko agad.) he understood naman and we're still okay now. i guess it depends on how close you are, like it my case, close kasi kami kaya i was able to say it to him straight.

Krysia27, less than 3 mos for me and lucky are those brides who still keep their cool. We started personally giving out invitations to our sponsors the other day. Nakakastress ang traffic, sumasabay pa sa stress ng wedding preps😤
