Dalawa lang ang showbiz stars sa atin the majority na sob story na maiahon ang pamilya sa kahirapan na puro undegraduate o minority na may star lineage na either magulang o kamag-anak na dito yung iba na rich kid na but Maine do not belong to the two category. Big deal yung pagiging rich maybe because this is the first we see the new category of star Maine created.

San ka nakakita ng la salle graduate na de buena pamilya na papayag maging alalay ng isang Wally na that time di pa nakakabawi sa sex scandal at laruan nila Jose but it paid off and she is living her dream na. Yung reference lagi na mayaman I think in a positive way kasi down to earth siyang napalaki pati mga kapatid niya considering religious pa sila. Buo at solid ang family tapos highschool sweethearts pa pala parents na ang ideal at ang gandang example na mahirap na makita sa panahon ngayon.

I liked Maine Mendoza at first. BUT I liked her even more when I read her blog. Who would have thought that this silly girl on TV has so much substance in real life? Iba pa rin talaga ang nakatapos ng pag-aaral.

Nabasa kasi ni Maine ang isang Twitter ni "Perfect TiMeng" kung saan ikinuwento nito ang tungkol sa isang lolo na pumila ng anim na oras para makabili lamang ng tickets.

Umaasa raw sana ang lolong ito na makabili ng kahit tig-P350 tickets, pero nang malaman niyang ubos na ito ay bumili pa rin siya ng tig-P150.

Medyo nabother nga ako sa IG pics nung mainedcmfeed parang nainvade na talaga ang privacy nya.

Anyway, I don't get the hatred for this girl. I guess you can't please everyone. But I hope others will just give her a break, she's just new in the biz, barely 4 months pa nga lang. Yung ibang artista dyan nakakailang (singing, acting and dancing) workshops before sumabak sa mga shows. But in such a short time, ang dami na nyang nakuhang fans. Madaming magandang actresses, pero hindi madali makahanap ng may "it" factor at pumapatok sa lahat. Sure, di sya pinakamaganda, pero di naman kelangan mala-diyosa ang beauty para magsucceed. Look at vilma, nora, juday, etc.

I think what people admire and like most about her, is not because of her comedic, dance or singing skills, it is because she is so real, relatable and humble. She never pretended to be more than she is, what you see is what you get. Even she acknowledged that.

I like her. She's simple and grounded (well with all the facts about her being made public). I think her family, parents esp., made her that.

I think she'll go places, kasi just like Anne Curtis, she's doesn't take herself too seriously, thus even making funny faces without being too conscious of how she'll look.
