After more than two decades after Thalia/Mexican Marimar craze that change the landscape of evening television who would ever thought that the Filipino world will be turned upside down again by a nanny character named Yaya Dub or the better half of AlDub loveteam this time on noontime tv. A phenomenon that unlocked the bridge between local mainstream tv and the very powerful social media the past two months. Social media that for quite sometime has been in existence but has not been fully utilized to its maximum capacity in our country especially by our advertising and marketing sector. Since the phenomenon is still at its peak expect more social media dynamics to be unlock in the weeks and months to come thanks to this crazy woman filled with innate social media humorous PR skills named Maine Mendoza.

Bias ako kasi fan ako eh.

Imho, she's not the stereotypical artistahin ang beauty, but i find her pretty because of her exceptional charm and personality. The kind of face that grows on you, kasi you know that there's more beneath the facade. Also, she's very accessible coz of social media.

Click ang tandem nila ni Alden because they just simply clicked... Parang JaDine (with due respect sa fans nila), kung titignan ko simple lang si nadine pero pag pinagsama na sila ni James...pak na pak ang chemistry

She's the type of beauty that grows on you. Hinde drop dead pretty and maybe because hinde sya typical mestiza na nagkalat sa TV. I like her when she wears peach or pink lipsticks, mas bagay sa kanya.

Maganda face nya lalo na pag nagtatagal na.

Fan din ako and for me, she may not be the goddess that MR is, pero maganda sya. Tama kayo, her beauty truly grows on you. Be it red or pink or peach lippies, maganda sya! 

My siblings have seen her (nung hindi pa sya sikat pero Yaya Dub na) several times and they said, kahit as Maine Mendoza na hindi pa sikat, mapapa-tingin ka talaga sa kanya. Prolly it's her aura.

I also like her being kalog. Hindi lagi pa-cute.  Di sya takot magpa-pangit sa cam and natural ang pagiging comedienne nya.

maganda si maine kung sa maganda. hindi nga lang sya siguro yung kagaya ng karamihan sa mga artista ngayon na may ibang lahi. and i think naging isang malaking factor yun kaya madami ang nagkagusto sa kanya. Filipina beauty na nagstand out talaga sa lahat. aba, eh di wow na wow!

Super thankful na ako nagkaroon ng Maine na thread haha. Grabe ngayon lang ako naging fan mode sa isang artista. EVER. Like sis OtherBoleynGirl pati mga kapatid at stylist nya iniistalk ko na and I always try to visit her blog kahit madalas di ko maaccess sa dami din siguro ng nagtatry.

I liked her even before ko nagustuhan ang Aldub and kalyeserye. Nakakatuwa yung IG nya, talagang makikita mo na even before she shot to fame, very natural na sa kanya magpatawa.

Medyo nakakadisappoint lang, kasi parang EB/TAPE is delaying ang pagdevelop ng talents nya lalo after the episode kanina pinabalik sya sa barangay. Sana naman EB and GMA starts to hone her talents and skills in hosting, acting, dancing and others na. Sa totoo lang medyo nagsasawa na ako sa kakadubsmash nya. She's still funny and charming though. And yung writers parang paulit ulit na yung songs. As in paulit ulit.
