i booked atom ungson and everyone loved him! he was late for about 2 hrs which is why we had to start dinner early.

Oh my! I booked Atom too because he's really good. Thing lang is during my cousin's wedding, he was also late. 😞

We got Sir Lowell of 7ten5 Events. He is higly recommended by his previous clients. And the rate isn't expensive especially if you package it with OTD coordinating.

i will go for RJ Ledesma for hosting style. mas nagagalingan ako sa kanya, but i heard na medyo mahirap daw mahagilap at kausap, parang nabasa ko lang dito sa forum sis. Franco Mabanta is also very good

Thank you Nikki27. I noticed kasi that there are so many reviews about RJ Ledesma but super rare for Franco Mabanta. I originally wanted Atom Ungson but got disappointed how he double booked and dropped us. Then si JC Alelis naman is no longer available on our date. Sana may mga magfeedback pa kay Franco Mabanta.

My fiance wants Francis Day kaya lang I watched him host na before, super okay kaso I wonder if he is willing to incorporate Taglish to match our crowd hihi. I don't want some guests kahit a few lang getting awkward kasi if pure english lang throughout the programme.

^I finally booked my emcee. After searching for a lot of emcees, I just followed my this is it feeling na pasok sa budget. Now, I am contemplating also if pure english ko ba or taglish. I have foreigners kasi but most guests naman ay mga nagtatagalog lang...

Also, what do you usually ask your emcees? may mga dapat ba akong itanong?

Emcee: Ms. Rio De Guzman of Dazzle events

para sa mga Dazzle brides here, eto suppliers review ko for them. Dazzle events otd ko and Ms. Rio de guzman ang emcee ko. Super happy ako sa perforamance niya, i heard she was good pero na exceed parin niya yung expectations ko. Nasunod lhat ng nasa program and halos walang umuwi sa mga guests ko. :)i asked her na taglish kasi filipino vintage yung theme ko. Madaming nag praise s kanya na mga guests ko, actually 2 of my friends siya na din ang kinuha na emcee. She is a blessing to me! i have been to alot of wedding bago yung kasal ko, and i can say Ms. Rio is way way way better than all of them. Her rate i think is 5k for hosting, im not sure kasi otd with hosting kinuha ko. pero for 5k rate, she might be the best affordable wedding emcee out there.

We got Vana de Leon Barja as our wedding host and very disappointed kami sa kanya. Di sya nakarating sa event because of a minor accident daw "nabubug sa paa" based yon sa sinabi ng coordinator namin 10mins before we came to the venue. Until now, 1 week after our wedding, wala pa din syang kahit 1 message explaining about her absence that day. Of course we will accept naman and will be kind enough to understand the situation but we wanted to have an explanation directly from her why she never made it. An apology will be good also kahit 1 PM lang since everyday ko naman nakikita ang posts nya sa FB, nasa Pampanga pa sya a day after our event celebrating Father's day!

Though nagpadala naman sya ng replacement (forgot her name), di kami natuwa sa naging flow ng program kasi di nasunod lahat ng napag-meetingan namin ni Vana. Very high pitched and she cannot handle the crowd, 80% ng sinasabi nya di namin naiintindihan!!!! Very old school ang naging games and she doesn't know the other details as well, mukang walang nangyaring turn-over from Vana's side.

Back story din pala ng meet-up namin ni Vana 1week before our wedding, four hours namin sya inantay sa megamall kasi naipit daw sya sa traffic (from nlex meeting) and we had no choice but to wait kasi coding kami nun. We've been very patient and wala kaming naging problema even if di sya nakarating sa meeting on time, even sa pagrelease ko ng review na to, I'd waited a week for an apology or kahit man lang explanation from her pero wala. We are very disappointed!

Just wanna share our host for our wedding in 2013. We booked Mallory Cosio. Sister of Missy Ferrer-Litao. She's super fun, lively and full of energy. Sobrang saya ng reception namin.

^That's too bad sis. Actually naginquire din ako kay Vana before pero seenzoned lang ako. Naisip ko baka dahil late nya na nabasa yung message ko she didn't bother replying na but then yung ibang inquiries ko with other hosts maski late na nila nakita meron courtesy reply na "i'm sorry i was not able to reply immediately.." And that's saying a lot on what kind of person you are..

I also inquired kay Ms. Vana dati, may mga nag recommend sakin kasi dito sa GT, nag reply naman sakin, she is ok naman i just decided to book another host that has a far better package. its ok sis mrs.abs, i bet masaya rin naman kahit papano ang naging wedding reception mo
