szne09, dati naman yata super ok naman ng oasis pero in recent years due to changes in the way they handle accounts and their staff eh dun nagkaron ng mga problems.
first off, maganda naman talaga ang facilities nila. well-maintained and spacious. ok din sa parking space. accessible pa kase nasa main road lang and maraming churches sa paligid.
ang issue talaga is with their customer service. take note na sila ang pinakamalapit na supplier sa'min dahil walking distance sila sa bahay pero they were the ones who gave us the most stress and pagod.
i always try to be objective at hindi rin ako maarte or mabusisi pero nasubukan ang pasensya ko sa kanila.
i'll list some of the problems we encountered as a heads-up to other brides na interested in this place and i hope this is something that oasis will work on improving soon kase sayang ang potential nung venue. i do not want to bring them down ah but these are our personal experiences with them and they're all documented.
1.1 a year before our wedding (july 2014), we made sure to secure the contract for our caterer since nakapackage kame ng caterer+venue. pumunta kame ng oasis to sign the PO for M catering since sa lahat ng accredited ng oasis sila ang pinaka-ok ang food para sa'men. then sometime in september '14, nabasa ko dito sa GT na hindi na daw accredited ang M with oasis. syempre i was concerned so i checked with M about it and kahit sila na-surprise dun kase wala namang reported issues about food or service nila. hindi rin sila binigyan ng opportunity to discuss what the infraction was with oasis basta tinanggal na lang for a very shallow reason.
1.2 so dahil dun, kinausap ko yung oasis kung bakit di na accredited si M, wala din naman silang mabigay na straight answer. eh sabe ko sila talaga ang gusto naming caterer and nag-sign na kame ng PO with them months ago. sagot ni ae: "ma'm wala po kayong PO dito for M catering."
WHAATT?! kaya nga kame nag-sign ng maaga eh para makuha namin yung gusto namin tapos sasabihin nyo wala?! dinayo ko pa yung office nila dahil gusto kong ma-ensure na i-honor nila yung agreement that we signed which they did naman pero ang hassle di ba? they did not even apologize for the inconvenience at di man lang nag-sorry yung ae that she did not process our PO correctly.
2. nagpapalit sila ng ae without notice. naka-3 ae kame na i don't mind naman as long as nae-endorse ng maayos or nabibigyan ng heads-up. minsan magfo-follow up ako tapos sasabihan ako na iba na daw yung ae namin at yun ang kailangan kausapin.
3. parang hindi well-trained ang staff nila to answer concerns. since per seat ang singil ng oasis, we were worried na baka i-charge nila kame for the chairs na io-occupy ng kids. we wanted them kase to sit with their parents para makakain sila ng maayos at mabantayan ng mabuti so gusto namin i-klaro na di kame macha-charge. ang tagal namin nakipag-diskusyon sa ae. ang ending sa boss ng oasis na kame nakipag-usap para malinaw at may pruweba kame of what we agreed on.
4. AFTER the wedding. since ang ceremony namin ay sa oasis din, we needed to get certification from them na dun kame kinasal para ma-file yung contract. so i asked them kung anong kailangan ibigay para makuha yun. sabe nila kailangan daw yung marriage contract i-present sa kanila. so dinayo pa namin ulit yung minister para hiramin yung contract. pagdating ko sa oasis, sabe nung ae ang kailangan daw nila ay yung CONTRACT at LICENSE. hindi daw nila ipo-process pag contract lang. dito na ko pumitik kase pagod na ko sa kakabyahe tapos gusto nila bumalik pa ko sa minister for the license then again sa kanila para lang makuha yung venue certification. add to that na kailangan na i-file yung contract dahil pupunta ng province yung minister namin and may deadline ang filing ng marriage contract sa city hall. ganto na ang conversation namin nung ae,
ako: "so magiging invalid na yung kasal namin kase di nyo kame mabibigyan ng certification ngayon?"
ae: "opo."
naramdaman ko talaga na umakyat yung dugo sa ulo ko sa inis at siguro nakaramdam din finally yung ae na hindi ako magpapatalo kaya sabe niya, "iche-check" daw nya kung pwedeng contract lang.
after 10mins binigay din yung certification. ang nakalagay lang dun eh pangalan naming mag-asawa at na dun kame kinasal sa oasis which is nasa marriage contract naman.
yan ang kwento namin at ng oasis. i'm just really glad na walang mishap na nangyari during the wedding pero i really felt that we wasted a lot of time and energy sa kanila na di naman necessary kung maayos lang silang kausap.
i really hope they are making steps to improve their service so that other couples will not have to go through a stressful experience preparing for one of the most special days of their lives.
