hi sissies. question lang sa principal sponsor, total seat alloted ko sa kanila is 4, sakto lang ba yun or sila lang ng hubby or wifey nila ang magkasama? i'm counting number of guests kasi and we're planning to have 100 guests lang. thanks mga sissies.

Since we already inquired to our prospective wedding suppliers, I guess 700k budget would be enough. We have 21 months to go pa. haha! I know medyo matagal pa naman.

@hpinkman026 it depends. I invited the rest of their family kasi I intended to invite them talaga. Pero if di mo naman ka-close yung mga anak nila etc, eh di 2 seats lang talaga for them and their partner.

How much did you girls budget for drinks? Kasama ba sa catering package nyo or hindi? I think it will cost an additional 10k for us consumable.

^ Our catering package included free flow coffee and iced tea lang, and then we can bring in up to 10 bottles of alcohol na no corkage.

We asked my brother to bring home wine from Australia as his gift na din, so that took care na of the 10 bottles. For other drinks (soft drinks, alcohol, etc), our caterer can serve the guests upon request, pero we pay a la carte prices. Our coord advised na we set a max cap na i-sh-shoulder namin and then if ma-exceed, cash bar na. We set ours to 10k, pero since lunch reception kami less than half lang nagamit.

I see. Ok na din pala yung 10k. Kasi P100 average drink. So 100 drinks for 55 guests. Mga 2 rounds tapos we have 20 bottle of wine.

Actually 30 yung dala ko. Pero they want us to buy 15k worth if I want to bring in the 30 bottles without corkage.

Galing din Australia yung wine namin. Pero yung white namin is NZ Pinot gris (Yealands, 2014) and Spanish tempranillo (Campo Viejo, 2013).

Hi sisters!

How much is your budget for a destination wedding?  IE.  Boracay?
Will it be possible to keep it below 1M?

Also did you cover for the the wedding entourage's dresses, accommodation, airfare tickets, Hair and Makeup?  Or did you split the cost to 50/50?

TiA!

I think below 1M is possible. It depends on whether you are ok with local suppliers or you want suppliers from Manila. If your suppliers are from Manila, you will need to pay out of town fees, pay for accommodation, airfares, maybe even a food allowance.

Ours is in Bohol. We are at 700k including our airfares to Manila and to Bohol. All our suppliers are local and we are not providing any accommodation for guests. We have 60 guests.

For the bridal party, we also didn't pay for their accommodation/airfare. But we are paying for the dresses, barong and hair/makeup.

Hi LilaFowler!

I am mostly considering local suppliers to lower the extra costs.  However, if possible I will go alll out for my top priorities (Food, Photo and Video).  I've done some canvassing of rates na and OMG moment talaga most of the good ones are over 150k not including the OOT, accommodation and airfare pa!

I'll try as best I could to keep my costs down.

Thanks for bridal party the advice!

Boracay is quite expensive. We considered Boracay but when I started canvassing, I thought it was too much so we decided on Bohol. Most of the resorts require a minimum number of hotels booked, and I didn't want to force guests to stay somewhere na too expensive for them.

Good luck!

Hi sis! Newbie here...Just wanna know how much will be the estimated budget for a tagaytay wedding for 200 pax. Is 550-600k enough? We're coming from Laguna, planning to get married by Dec 2018. Still long way to go but coz we're both overseas so we're trying to start the planning early. Thanks in advance mga sis😬

Hello! :)

Our budget is maximum 1.5 M for our wedding on April 14, 2018 with 150 guests. At first it was 1 M, but then the ceremony/reception venue is little bit expensive as well as our chosen photographer and videographer. For our venue, our non negotiable is a really spacious garden and reception area so even if it's a bit expensive, we took it. Another non negotiable are the photographer and videographer. My fiance is into photography so he wanted to make sure that our supplier is within his specs ;) I love how he's helping me out with all the nitty gritty details in our wedding preparation.

Happy preps to all! :)

if you start booking by now, yes, 600k can be enough. pero more on low to mid range suppliers yan.
we are expecting 150 guests lang for our jan 2018 wedding and 400k yung budget namin, but we started booking from last year pa. siguro, srtart with the church, tapos reception venue, p/v tapos the rest pwede ng paunti unti gang end of this year.  :)

Hi Mga sis,
Magrant lang ako about sa wedding budget, nastress ako. December 2018 pa naman yung wedding namin ni fiance and this January lang siya nagpropose. Dahil overwhelmed ako nung time na nakwento ko our wedding plans with my two close friends, nagtanong sila about our budget, I spilled that ours is around 450-500k (very wrong!) and now kumokontra sila na ang  laki daw for just one day event. Ngayon palang nasasayangan na sila. Grabe daw ako magprepare for one day event and ang bongga daw. Pag-isipan ko daw. Sinasabi ko naman, hindi bonggang yung wedding ko (ni hindi pa nga umabot ng 1m, paano naging bongga yun?). For me and fiance, that is the wedding na we can afford and a wedding that we want for ourselves.

We already booked our major suppliers except for P/V and I think reasonable naman yung mga prices. All of them is within the budget na sinet namin for each. Real-time ipon ginagawa namin for our wedding, a pecentage of our salary goes to that and bukod dun, we are also saving for our appliances and things we need once we move to our house. Malungkot lang ako na my friends don't understand it at all. I even stop making kwento about our wedding preps but sometimes nabobrought up pa rin nila esp if may mga lakad and inaaya nila ako, I passed dahil nga nag-iipon ako para makatulong sa wedding  and they were saying na tinitipid ko yung sarili ko for that "just one day". :'( :'(

I don't want to take it personally pero kaya ganun thinking nila dahil wala naman sila plans na magkaroon ng family. Para sa kanila gastos lang yun, ang reason out ko naman is if sa kanila priority nila gumastos for travels, priority ko yung wedding ko and I want it to be memorable naman kahit papaano. haay, I really regret sharing that info with them, feeling ko giniguilt trip nila ako :'( :'(

^^Totally understand Sis, iba kasi mindset ng mga di naman ikakasal, though meron din naman mga ikakasal na for them di kailangan gumastos ng todo, and some na will indulge, for me to each his own, respect nalang each other's capabilities and preference.

Sa friends naman, dunno baka may halo bitterness na yan, hehe, kasi a real sensible friend will not dampen your spirit. Lalo na kung alam nila na super happy ka with that decision. Ako, isa lang nakakaalam ng budget namin, 1 bff ko, and I know nalula sya pero she didn't judged me naman, of course alam ni H2B and dito sa threads, pero the rest, family, other friends, di ako nagsasabi.

Ayoko din kasi makarinig ng kokontra, bad vibes, maski sa preps, discreet ako, halos di ako nagdidisclose unless relevant. Don;t feel bad na, focus ka nalang sa preps, after all it's your wedding, kayo lang ni H2B and opinion nyo lang 2 nagmamatter.  :)

^sis linacheng, bubble-bursters yang close friends mo ha.. Try kaya nilang mag-research kung magkano na ang rates ng suppliers these days? HIndi rin siguro nila na-consider yung number of guests mo kasi honestly, ang pinaka-pricey is yung venue/catering. Unless gusto nilang kumain ng fastfood sa kasal mo or gusto nilang maka-witness ng disaster wedding  ::) Are you gonna invite them pa? haha!
I recently watched a trending video on facebook about wedding planning. At the end of the wedding, there will be people who'll complain about the smallest details on your wedding. Knowing na they are in a "free party", marami pa ring nalalait after all the stressful preparations of the couple. Sana maging happy na lang sila for the newly weds.
Basta sis, hayaan mo na silang magpaka-bitter. After all, it's gonna be your "best day ever"! It may be a one day event, but you'll treasure it forever. ;)
