^ I have an excel sheet but it's not on percentage form.
I started with our overall budget then from there, I did on a lot of research on the rates of the church, reception venue and catering. Once I have the range of their rates, that's the time I find out how much I am willing to shell out with the other suppliers.

It really depends on which one is the easiest way for you to organize things.

When we started ang wedding preps last 2015, we just alloted 200K-250K max, but we ended up 285K and we're very happy kasi all in na sya wedding day itself.

We had everything we wanted, an intimate Caleruega wedding. Kahit may sablay, at the end of the day yung mga main prayers namin for our wedding were answered by God.

I have updated our excel today and nasa 322k na kami from the original overall 300k budget. 
Aabot siguro ng 400k pero max nayun. Research and bargaining powers pa more!

Hello mga sis! Kami naman 400k ang budget for 2018 wedding. As of the moment, nasa 380k na kami pero tingin ko naman na-cover ko na lahat ng kailangang i-cover (pati crew meals kasali na din). Siguro pang-buffer ko na lang 'yung 20k. Happy preps mga sis!

first time to post but been lurking for months - can i ask how did you plan/do it based sa ganyang budget? ganyan din ang target namin, Tagaytay wedding din. thank you in advance

hi sis! Thank you! First, we planned of having an intimate wedding of 50-70 pax max. Kung yan lang ang guests namin, maybe we could lower down the cost up to 230K max na kasi marami namang BnB sa Tagaytay na libre na venue kapag smaller group lang kayo like Marcia Adams, Balay Indang etc.

But since hindi possible kasi may mga dapat din kaming i consider sa family namin, hindi sya talaga na push. We have to have a venue na kasya ang maximum 100 pax pero it should be around 10K lang. And we found casino filipino. Transferring to Casa De Corazon is another story, and hindi ko sinama sa 285K kung ano man ang naging arrangement namin dun sis kasi sobrang last minute yung pag transfer namin dun.

Pwede ko i share yung rates ko sana sayo sis, kaso baka mabigyan ka ng false hope kasi 2015 rates pa yun and most of the suppliers these days ay nag tataas talaga yearly.

But if you're planning of having an intimate tagaytay wedding like max of 50 guests, I think 200K is still feasible if hindi nyo i-sshoulder ang lahat like accommodation and transportation ng both sides. Kung hindi kayo mag splurge ng sobra sa gown and rings and souvenirs.

Samin kasi from 285K, we could still lowered it down if hindi kami nag provide ng accommodation for entire family and extended family at entourage, as well as their transportation vans. Then we chose to give 4 types of souvenirs para sa guests kasi gusto namin marami silang maiuwi since they traveled talaga para sa wedding namin. Kung wala kaming extra entree sa food and kung hindi na kami nag avail ng prenup at love story video AVP sa PV Team, we could really cut our budget pa.

Focus on needs over wants, makikita mo nalang you can have your dream wedding without spending too much.

2 weeks to go before our wedding this March 25,  we got it in less than 200k.

the biggest discount that we had was the P/V that we got for 40k that includes SDE, lights and sounds and bridal car.  if not for that studio we will pass the 200k mark.

Thanks sa advise sis! actually yan ang ideal budget namin and max na namin ang 100 guests pero balak kong liitan pa kasi, h2b's side di lalagpas sa 20 ang invited, yung sakin ang 50 kaya nakakahiya naman sa kanya ~ as for friends, iinvite lang namin yung mga nakakaalam talaga ng tunkol sa amin, a.k.a common friends. we're gonna DIY mostly everything, saka nag ask din kami sa friends ng help (free prenup photos, invitation design, emcees, haha). pero your advise is really helpful for me - priority is the key - thank you so much!!

^hi sis! Yes kaya yan basta less than 100. Kami nag book for 100 guests and nasa 80 heads lang yung dumating, pero the good side was all our suppliers were able to get their foods from the buffet din.

Sobrang filtered din ang guests namin. Closest relatives and friends lang. And dapat pareho kaming kilala for more than 5 years. Yung 20 na hindi naka attend mostly added invites ng parents / sisters ni hub, and yung ibang relatives namin na nag confirm tapos hindi pumunta which is nakaka sad ng slight.

Siguro kung hindi kami nag consider ng mga add-ons, mas mababa pa talaga kami sa 285K. Sinagad narin kasi namin for the love to our guests. Roughly, we could've saved the following pa if we did not add the ff:

This will do na sana for our small number of guests:

Cupcakes : 3500 (gift to us) - will do naman na as souvenir. Some couples did not bother to have any souvenir pa nga.
House 1  : 8500 - 1 house will do for immediate fam
Van 2 : 6500 - 1 van will do na sana for immediate fam
Food for Cocktails : 1500 (this is a must if youll be having a post nup shoot before going to the venue)

Additionals:
*Photobooth : 4500
*Coffee Souvenirs : 5000
*Tic-Tac Souvenirs : 3000
*Church Choir : 5000 (mp3 or a friend who could sing will do)
*Extra Entree : 4000 (we had 5 entrees na, plus salad and soup then we added 1 pa para complete)
*Biscuit Bar : 1500 (pica pica will do na sana clubhouse and nachos)
*Van 1 : 7500 - extra van for relative and ento
*House 2 : 7500 - extra house for relative and ento
*Rings : 5000-10000 - if we chose 15-20K worth of rings (Our rings worth 25K)
*Prenup Love Story & AVP : 7000 (Medyo natabunan kasi nung may wedding pics at vids na which is more important)
*Prenup Expenses (HMUA / Loc Fee / Food / OOT Fee : 5000 (kung hindi kami nag prenup haha)
Ayoko naman talaga mag prenup, napilit nalang ni PV kasi offer, na sales talk ako. Lol 

Total: 55,000 - 60,000 saved!

Basta focus on your needs talaga sis and sa budget. I am guilty na hindi kami nag stick sa initial budget hahaha! But not to the extent na nagsisi, kasi no regrets naman talaga dahil pakiramram namin worth it lahat ng pinagkagastusan at hindi nakakahinayang kasi para naman sa family and friends namin, yung rings naman para sa amin.

happy preps sis!!! Kapag nagawa mo yan, I'll be more than happy sis! That we can still have our dream wedding kahit we only have a limited budget. If you have questions, feel free na mag message lang.

kami ni h2b sa June pa ata makakapag start ng serious planning, feeling ko late na kaso pareho kaming 'chill life' muna. haha! pero nakapag tanong tanong na rin kami sa mga netizens (fb friends) ng help, so far solved na yung ento gown, boutonnieres and corsages. phew! mas focused kami ngayon sa small details na feeling namin makakalimutan namin, while saving up for the rest/bigger bulk of the budget.
