We're trying to spend not more than 500k for 300pax wedding. Pero based sa mga recent happenings, mukhang lalagpas kami sa budget but hopefully not way too much! Hehe.

Our inital budget was 300k for 150 pax...
Then it moved up to 400k...
Now almost 450k na gastos namin eeeekk!!

Mahirap talagang mag track ng budget. Especially pag may mga options na mas ok kesa first option na meron ka. We're budgeting 600k all in for 100pax. Pero lagpas na kami sa budget dahil dun sa mga suppliers na mas gusto ko pala. ☺ I'm 2018 bride by the way

I feel you sis! Nung inayus ku na yung excel file ng expenses, lagpas na ku sa ideal budget ku (but not the actual naman). 100 pax din guests namin (excluding the 20 kids).

Kami naman originally we wanted an intimate wedding lang. 200K lang sana for 100 pax. But since malaki yung family namin, if 100 pax, need namin ng malayong kasalan para di dayuhin. Haha. So nag Tagaytay kami. Our budget changed to 500K na. Ang mahal mahal pala halos lahat ng bilihin. So okay na sana kaso we changed our venue. Nag Tagaytay Highlands kami which based ngayon sa computing namin eh aabot sa 700K. Grabe. So it would basically depend sa caterer and location niyo yung budget. If only kami lang ni H2B yung nagdedecide, more or less kaya naman ang 300K for 100 pax, na bongga na yun ha.

ours, we spent less than 400k sa wedding namin. Its tagaytay wedding with 180 guests and we are so happy that we are able to budget accordingly. Prioritization lang talaga. You need to trust your suppliers din. Some of our suppliers are not known, but they executed more than we expected from them. Actually, kung sino pa nga yung kilala sa wedding industry, sila pa yung hindi nakameet sa expectations ko. 😊

My friend asked me, how much my wedding is? I told her, you guess. She said, depending on the wedding, its like 700k. I was like "really? Wow." Then i told her, less than 400k. And she said "SERIOUSLY?!" Hahaha. (Though nagexceed din kami somehow sa initial budget namin.)

The beauty of the wedding depends on the aura of the couple. If your guests saw that both of you are happy, you will create a happy entertaining environment. Again, prioritize your needs. Remove unnecessary add-ons if possible. And yes, read GT. You will learn so much from this group. 😊

Initial budget was 600k. When I updated our excel, we're already in 680k.. The increase was mostly attributable to my gown, initial budget was 45k but the actual was 70k. hahahaha. We also added a coordinator and event stylist at 45k. My groom wanted me to have my dream wedding gown and we invested in our P/V and food. Haaist. And this is a provincial wedding pa. I just keep telling myself that this is a once in a lifetime event and both of us really dreamt of a nice wedding so push!

It's so hard to budget since we didn't set a maximum amount on our wedding budget. =( Now that I'm adding all our expenses, lumobo na siya.

I'm a 2018 Bride to be. Our initial budget is 500k for 100pax. Tagaytay wedding. Pero now we're already at 700k, at mukang aabot pa ng 1M. We invested sa catering, photo and video and my Gown.

It's true that we need to set our priorities. Kaya namang mag set ng mas maliit na budget. But if you can sabi ng husband to be ko it's a once in a life time event. At aminin natin sa hindi, we girls want our weddings to be beautiful.

But always remember to be mindful of how much we really can afford, because what matters most is not the wedding but the marriage itself.

we got married dec 2009 at caleruega church. peak season.
budget was 500k actual was 700k
kasama na dito ang honeymoon.
but if you will asked my hubby he will say its times 2 kase isinasama nya yung mga jewelries ko.
but i beg to differ kase like marriage, diamond naman is forever! and wedding is just a day no?!!

So far, on track pa kami for our wedding budget this December.. 300k for 200 pax, grabe yung research ko mga sis to each and every supplier I contact. 278k yung total cost namin as of today, estimate pa yung gown ko, kay groom at ento, conservatively. haha.. sana bumaba pa if I can get a good deal sa mga gown, dress and suits.

Ayoko na din tignan yung excel file namin, haha. Naginvest kasi talaga kami sa P/V at sa food kaya yung budget is lumaki Tingin ko factor din yung OOT fees kasi yung iba, may mga non nego suppliers ka, tapos di naman sila Tagaytay based - so walang choice but to pay them extra.

^ i know how you feel. Until now hindi ko pa ina-add up lahat ng estimates for us. So for now di ko pa alam kung na-hit na ba namin yung upper limit.

Medyo lucky lang FI got a payrise, so medyo maluwag ng konti but still, we don't want to spend all our money on the wedding.

Our budget is 250K for 100 pax. Almost complete rin suppliers namin, groom's suit and rings na lang kulang. Ang ginawa ko, gumawa ako ng forecasted amount ng savings namin after all the gastos para makita if reasonable ba yung amount na spine-spend namin for the wedding. So ayun, bawat piso naka-account dun! haha!

Next month na wedding namin and happy ako na under kami sa sinet namin na budget. Kelangan rin kasi namin magtipid kasi preggy ako so need rin pagipunan panganganak ko. Hehe.

We were able to save by:
*Choosing a morning wedding. No need na kumuha ng separate L/S supplier kasi nga di naman need ng moodlights. Plus di na rin kami kumuha ng mobile bar kasi nga bihira lang  magkaroon ng afterparty ng tangaling tapat. Hehe.

*Getting the services only packages. We got the cheapest packages of our P/V, meaning bare necessities lang ang kasama. Services only yung sa photo, then cinematic highlights sa video. Reputable suppliers pa rin naman sila so assured pa rin ako sa quality of their work. Wala kaming SDE, photo AVP and other videos, so di na kami kumuha ng projector and screen. Additional savings ulit.

*Gamitin ang friendly discount! Haha! I didnt ask for help talaga but since may mga kaibigan/kamag-anak kami na nagprisinta na sagutin ang isang item for the wedding, well di na ako tumanggi. Haha.
