^sana ganyan din mangyari sa amin. We haven't informed our parents yet regarding sa plans namin na intimate wedding lang talaga. Kasi ayaw naman namin na nganga after the wedding. hehe.

Hi to all!  :)

Am starting to make a costing sheet… Anybody here using an online wedding budget calculator to track wedding costs? If yes, which site do you recommend?

We started our budget una from 250k but it went out to 350 na. Pero mukhang lolobo pa kasi dami pa namin kulang. Wag naman sana. *crossed-fingers*

70% Fiancé
30% Mine

However, his family wants to shoulder daw. But I opt not to because feeling ko they will dictate how my wedding will be. But now naisip ko sana pumayag na ako. Kasi aabot kami talaga ng 1M plus. But thing is I kept the wedding as simple but elegant at the same time fun. Ako lahat sa salary ko ako kumuha but on his he needed to get sa savings.

Our initial budget would be around 300-400k pero parang we'll exceed pa. Pero kaya yan! Positive lang! Haha

I mean yung gown at shoes ko 50k plus dito ko binili sa dubai, credit card, so I paid for it nung lumabas ang bill. technically di sya kasama sa budget namen for suppliers.

^^Naging same situation tayo, preggy ako na need makasal agad. Well it is because for the benefits I am dependent to husband. Yung wedding ring kayo na bahala if magprovide kayo or not.

Then ang plano namin of course mga witnesses lang talaga as in literal na isang Ninong at isang Ninang. Yung representative ni Councilor then 2 ata na staff ni VP Joy, I think nasa 13 persons kami since sa akin pa lang yung medyo marami because my bro and his family joined with us rin.

Hi mga sis. I don't know if this will be related or not. We got engaged January 2016. We're getting married sa Sept. Si h2b only son and nafifeel ko din na pressured sya kasi parehas kameng walang ipon for this wedding. Sabi ng ILs ko, all expense will be paid by them naman daw. Okay lang ba yun? Actually sila talaga may gusto kasi na gawin na this 2016 kasi overseas sila and minsan lang umuwi. Pinipilit ko mag ipon para at least yung mga expense na kakailanganin din ng family ko for the wedding like transpo ng grannies from province at para sa kung ano anong maliliit na gastos pa na kakayanin ko. Yung bahay after ng wedding courtesy of ILs din so medyo nahihiya ako. Hehe. Though kusa naman nilang binigay lahat. I'm just 22yrs old kasi and didn't expect na magpapakasal kagad pero I'm very sure na si h2b to be na talaga so di na din ako umapela sa pag propose nya. I don't even know until now magkano budget for the wedding kaya di ko alam anong suppliers hahanapin ko. Nahihiya kasi ako magtanong na kung magkano budget nila for our wedding. Huhu.

^ Sis I know its akward but you need to know how much your ILs are willing to spend for your wedding. Mahirap mag budget or to even look for suppliers if hindi nyo alam price range ng afford niyo. If you can't ask them, your fiance should. Its his parents we are talking about by the way. It may be uncomfortable but at least you guys would know kung ano klase level ng wedding ang pwede niyo gawin. Just imagine you guys tried to book suppliers on the mid-range to high-end level that could sum up to 1M but then your ILs would tell you they can only afford to give you a 350K worth of wedding diba? All-in na yun. Paano na espc if you guys started to book suppliers? Where will you get the extra money to pay for them knowing wala din kayo ipon? Asking won't hurt, ang importante alam ninyo. From there you can work it out.

Thanks sis. Thanks sis.

^^ Traditionally that's how it is.. The big chunk of the wedding expenses is shouldered by the grom and groom's family. But depende sa inyo yan. In our case we made it a point to shoulder all our expenses, since we both have stable jobs, though he still insists on having more. We decided to have that since we want to make all the decisions. We ask for our family's opinions but bottomline kami oa din masusunod. Paying for your wedding expenses definitely gives you that absolute authority, in my opinion hehe We do, however, have some sponsored items and it helped a lot when it comes to our budget.

^ I have to agree! Although we're still 9 months away, the expenses already ballooned to 25% so we have to adjust and be reminded of our priorities every now and then.
