I haven't ordered the mustela double action yet but i heard about bio oil and it is readily available at the chemist so i bought 1 kanina mid size bottle for $16. Ok ba talaga sya sa mga nakagamit na nito before?

Hi Sis, belle_v2g, I used bio oil though not for stretch marks pero for scar. I had oil burnt sa right arm ko, super naiyak ako hindi dahil sa sakit pero sa scar na makukuha ko since grabe talaga siya. Ikakasal pa naman ako next year. My friend told me about bio oil, I used it nung medyo patuyo na siya and after almost 2 weeks of continuously using it (morning and night) parang magic, meron parin scar pero hindi mo makikita unless titigan mo. So I assume maganda din ang magging result sa stretch marks. :)

Hi sissies, update about the bio oil. I don't know if there is something wrong with the way i apply it pero bakit parang nasunog ang skin ko?! :( parang umitim yung tummy ko.
anyway, we went to babies r us last weekend and i bought mustela double action. Used it twice a day and now i noticed na parang nageexfoliate ang skin ko and nawawala yung parang nangitim na effect ng bio oil. Nasunog kaya skin ko or libag lang yon?! Hahaha. Nakakainis!!

best way to prevent stretchmarks? abstain from scratching :) if you can't resist the urge, apply lotion :) pero ako nangangati pa lang, i put lotion na :)

I didn't have stretch marks until 39 weeks but on the 40th parang work of art na my tummy. Religiously used bio oil but to no avail so I think genes matter, too.

^hi sis! I don't know if its genes or what pero wala ako noticeable stretchmarks. I used nga Human Nature's sunflower oil. Effective din sya  sa isang officemate ko. Maarte kasi OB ko tinignan nya talaga after i gave birth. Kala nya due to Bio oil kasi that's what she told me to use.

O well wala nga ako stretchmarks may tahi naman ako. Lol!

I tried out Gly Derm Stretch Mark Cream after seeing it on TV. After giving birth to my son, I had so much stretch marks on my tummy. I tried it out and after around two months, I started seeing results. My stretch marks weren’t as red any more and it just improved the overall appearance of my stretch marks. Try nyo po guys, baka maging effective din sa inyo.   :D

Un tita ko nag buntis siya sa pinsan ko. Wala siya  strectmarls to think payat siya before mag buntis, kainggit nga. Sana ganon di ako... Sabi ni  OB nasa genes nga daw minsan un pero lagay lang daw ng bio oil twice a day..

I use virgin coconut oil since I was 10-12 weeks, 2x a day everyday. Currently on my 32nd week now, hoping for the best!

I don't remember my mom having any strechmarks, so sana na-pass sakin ang genes! :) Anyway, will try bio-oil siguro once I finish up the VCO bottle. :P

I guess its really our genes that dictate whether we will have stretch marks or not.  Lumaki ako ng husto, and I bought the cream from body shop but I wasn't very consistent with the application pero wala naman ako naging stretch marks luckily. I have the Bio oil pero I started using it now lang after giving birth.  Looks good sa face.

^lucky you, nicoletta! Genes nga siguro. Buti I didn't get Clarins, wala rin siguro effect yun sakin, ang mahal pa naman.

Thankfully, my face remained clear. Gumanda pa ata yung skin ko haha. Sana magtuloy tuloy naman. And hindi ako namanas. I do have some skin darkening pero babalik naman daw sa normal color so I'm not so worried. Yung stretchmarks lang talaga yung hassle.  I have loads of Bio Oil left kasi nung nag appear na yung stretchmarks ko tinamad na ako gamitin sa inis ko. Maybe I'll keep using it on my tummy and on my face na rin.

^week 33 ko napansin sis. Parang padami ng padami since then.  Kala ko pa naman 'safe' na ako from stretchmarks. Hay. I guess ubusin ko nalang yung natirang Bio Oil and sayang rin.

Only if I can drink these oils and creams baka ginawa ko na silang water replacement. But hell no... walang nakapagstop ng stretchmarks ko.

This stage started when I reached 30th week. Siguro kasi biglang laki na ni baby.
