Mga sis for epidural, pwede namang hindi full dosage na tipong wala ka nang mararamdaman. When I was in labor, the anes told me konti lang ilalagay nya, just to make me a bit more comfortable and hindi super sakit (ang sakit kasi talaga ng contractions), pero yung tipong ramdam ko pa rin yung paghilab para I can push properly. So true enough, ganun nangyari sakin, I can still feel the contractions and was able to push along with the contractions. Pag sagad kasi epidural as in yung wala kang mararamdaman, I think mahirap magpush.

My ob scheduled me for gbs screening na it's done daw between 35-37 weeks of pregnancy. Meron na ba sa inyo na ganito? Sabi kukuha daw ng smear sa vagina and anus. Kinabahan naman ako.

Pinaganyan ako ng dr ko...kung nag positive ka sis may inject sila sa iv mo,  while you are in labour, para daw di ma-infect si baby...

Im 41 weeks na sa wednesday.. wala pa rin akong sign na manganak ako with in this week.. nag lakad na.. sumayaw, nag byahe byahe na rin, ayaw pa talaga.. can anyone suggesf ano pa pwede kong gawin? Til now close pa cervix ko and di pa ako efface...

Hi sissies!I'm due on December 6 based on my first ultrasound. Kaya lang I'm irregular so not sure if reliable yun. So sabi ng doctor ko pwede daw ako manganak ng last week of November or first week of December.

Question lang, would you know kung okay manganak sa UERM?
My OB quoted me kasi for NSD

St. Luke's QC - 80k for private room
UERM - 50k (not sure if private room)
Capitol Medical Center - 60k for private room

Any feedback sa above mentioned hospitals and rates?

sis coyenho, going 35 weeks na din ako... every 2 weeks na check up ko.. sabi ni OB after nov. 14 weekly na daw check up ko at IE na daw ako every check up... Di pa ko nakaready sa dadalhin pero almost complete na... impake na ko this week... sched of Delivery ko is Dec. 1 since CS ako.

I was thinking of the same thing. Kasi sabi pa ng OB ko, once mag crowning na si baby, lalagyan na ako ng anesthesia kasi they need to cut and stitch daw, para hndi ko maramdaman. As in papatulugin daw ako. Gusto ko sana makita paglabas ni baby and mahawakan siya agad. 

Anyone na may ganitong experience?

Hi sis nhetski, weekly na din check ko up ko . So kailangan ko na iprepare vajayjay ko sa kaka IE. Haha.  feeling awkward na naman...anyway  kailan due date mo? choice mo talaga [textspeak!] CS?.hindi ko alam kung ilang damit kailangan dalhin tska [textspeak!] feeding bottle if ever. Gusto ko nga lagyan ng mga name [textspeak!] gamit ni baby baka may mawala eh...

Hi sis! No sis, di ko choice CS.... second baby ko na kasi ito... Pre-eclampsia ako nung first... 34w5d nung lumabas panganay ko due to severe pre eclampsia... dapat normal ako... Normal lahat ng test pero all of a sudden ayun sugod sa emergency room... after 2 days of confinement, no choice si OB, kailangan ilabas si baby. Kaya etong second, CS na talaga ako. Humihirit pa nga si hubby nang normal dr kaya lang ayaw na talaga ni OB. Sabi ko na lang kay hubby, natakot na din kasi si OB baka pag inabot ako ng labor mag shoot up BP ko at ma eclampsia ulit. So far so good... sabi ni OB IE daw ako nxt check up para masigurado na pwede ako manganak sa napupusuan kong date... (Dec. 1) Dec. 12 kasi talaga ang due date ko.. pero pinapili nya na ako between Nov. 28 to Dec. 4. Gusto ko nga sana Dec. 8 dahil anniversary namin ni hubby... ayaw ni OB kasi sobrang tagal na daw yun.

mga sis na confuse lang ako nang slight. Ano yung receiving blanket?  May binili kase ako 5 pieces na may hood na parang blanket din, yun na ba yun or iba pa ang receiving blanket? May nabili ako isang walang hood kaso fleece naman sha na carters pang crib ko sana gamitin.

Anyway, hello mga sis. Sa wakas nakaraos na ako! Thank God at nsd ako. Ang bilis ng labor ko at super sakit pero worth it talaga.

Congrats sis buti ka pa ma yakap mo na si baby. I'm 37 weeks next week sana madali lang din labor ko natatakot talaga ako sa pain push din namin nsd.

gave birth last October 23 to a healthy baby girl.

mine is elective CS which we scheduled for Oct 28. kaso when we went for checkup on Oct 22, doctor said i'm already 3cm dilated and nafi-feel na nya head ni baby. she said that we should get the baby out bago pa mag-progress ang labor. mejo na-shock kme ni husband kasi ambilis ng pangyayari. we agreed to schedule the birth on Oct 24 but when my OB's staff was checking the schedule, full ang sked nya ng Oct 24 and since we are avoiding for the labor to progress, we had to do it the following day since free ang schedule ng doctor ko. waaaah...seriously, it's like emergency CS kasi sa totoo lang, di pa ako prepared mentally and emotionally. physically, i guess, yes kasi no choice naman. lalabas at lalabas si baby.

anyway, we went back home and re-checked our hospital bags and went to the hospital after midnight para dun na mag-relax.

everything went well with the birth and recovery. sarap ng feeling na finally, you can hold your baby. mejo overwhelming since im a first time mom pero slowly learning and loving every moment of it.

Yan din kinakatakot ko, na baka di na din ako umabot ng scheduled DR ko.... dami ko pang gagawin dito sa work at nag fi-finalize pa ng lahat ng kailangan...

BTW sis, ilang weeks ka nung nangannak?

Nakakatuwa isa isa na tayo na nganganak. I felt a contraction kanina morning I think around 7am-8am. Ang sakit niya and di nawala kahit ano gawin ko position. Tiniis ko nalang kahit na iiyak ako. Sabi sa akin mild contraction palang sha kaya wala pa sumunod baka daw nag oopen cervix. Di ko ma imagine pag [textspeak!] tuloy tuloy na. Wala naman discharge so kalma lang ako kanina. Planning to have my check up tomorrow fingers crossed sana mabilis lang labor ko hehe

Just got done with my check up. Thank god ok lahat. Si baby naka position na din ready to exit but di pa daw hinog cervix ko so doc gave me suppliment pang pa lambot daw nang cervix.
May mga ginawa ba kayo mga sis para mag open [textspeak!] cervix or nag wait lang din kayo? Natakot kase ako mag labor then sarado cervix parang ang hirap.

^umakyat ka ng hagdan sis. Maglakad. Squat. Naglaba pa ako ng damit ng asawa ko para makakaupo tayo ako. Nag-exercise pa ako kahit may mga contractions na ako. Sa youtube marami.

Ma try nga. Sabi din sa akin kumain madami pineapples kahit [textspeak!] juice lang bukas bibili ako. Ang bigat na nung feeling ko kase Ang baba na ni baby lagi na din ako umiihi cause madalas I can't hold it anymore.

I'm not sure if any of our preggo GTers ever posted about getting anti-rabies shots during their pregnancy, but for the record, I had my series done last month.

Kaloka. Never ako nag medicate, naaksidente or napahamak during the entire pregnancy but one itsy bitsy, teeny weeny cat bite sa little toe forced me to get anti-rabies (and anti-tetanus) shots. It was OK'ed by my OB and the doctors in the hospital ER so no choice ako. 

So far, wala namang naging problem. I had my CAS done when I was at my 6th month and results were good & all, normal. Hopefully, wala talagang side effects itong bakunang ito sa anak ko. I will update.
