Hi! Anyone of you have given birth or planning to give birth at makati medical center? I'm still confuse regarding where to give birth. Ilang weeks na lang at pwede na ko manganak. Still undecided kung sa MMC ako or sa St. Lukes Gobal. Ang gulo kasi kausap ng OB ko. hehe..

@JAZRINA: maybe you can go on a maternity tour to help you decide where to give birth? di ko alam kung uso sa manila ito pero checking out hospitals help sa decision making ng parents on where to give birth.

Meron ba sa inyo who will choose or have chosen to deliver via CS kahit na ndi naman sobrang necessary?

Me and my husband are deciding of a birth plan and we're kinda leaning that I deliver via CS. Maliit kasi built ko, very petite and I weigh 42kg only. Also, I am 37 years old and this is our first baby.

My OB said na baka kayanin ko naman ang normal delivery kung maliit din si baby but kahit maliit si baby, ndi naman din sure na everything will go smoothly if we choose to deliver normal. And here where we are based, if you are trying to deliver normal tapos biglang na-emergency CS, babayaran mo both in full, doble gastos. Ganito din ba sa Manila?

So ayun, daming factors to consider but right now, CS is the best choice for us, emotionally, physically and financially.

sisses, kayo din ba nararamdaman nyo na warm ang tummy nyo kung saan nakapwesto si baby? sa akin kasi parang mas mainit [textspeak!] tyan ko kung saan nakapwesto si baby kaysa sa upper part ng tyan ko. 31 week pregnant na ko.

mga mommies, sino na dito naranasan/nararanasan na may red na parang butlig tapos super kati ng belly? nagtext ako sa OB ko sabi lang niya wag ko daw kamutin. tinatanong ko kung meron akong pedeng ipahid. huhu

Hi mga sissies! I think most of us here are on the waiting game na. Hinihintay na lang lumabas si baby. Hehe.. I have a question though, pwede na ba lumabas si baby kapag 36 weeks pa lang? I mean normal naman ba yun mga sis?

@misisdelapaz may instances na lumalabas na ang baby at 36 weeks pero if you're thinking of being induced or elective CS, i think it's better to wait out til baby is full term na which some says starts at 37 weeks. but i think the best time for induction or elective CS is pag 39 weeks onwards. unless there's a reason for you to deliver the baby early like gestational diabetes or preeclampsia or fetal-development issues or any infections.

Okay sis @klimts thank you! Oo nga, gusto ko nga by week 38 onward na siya lumabas, i think masyado pang maaga and 36 weeks hehe! Anyway, hoping na normal ang delivery ko.

@JAZRINA sis, I'm giving birth in MakatiMed as well. Better make up your mind, sis, so you won't feel pressured.

Ladies, I had to be admitted in MakatiMed last Friday due to preterm contractions. No bleeding though. I was 34w2d then. I stayed there for 4 nights because my OB wanted to make sure that I didn't have contractions na and that I didn't need IV meds na. Oral meds would do. Taking Isoxilan tabs now. Nakaka-trauma yung complete bed rest, especially yung bed pan! Aaaargh. Now I'm at home, still in bed rest, but I stand up when I need to eat or go to the bathroom. Mahirap din kasi yung nakahiga lang the entire day. Sakit sa legs. Nakakangawit. 😕

I really pray to deliver the baby at least by Oct. 8, which is my 37th week. So, baby, hang in there. 😘

Tightening of the uterus ganun. Parang humihilab and very uncomfortable. 😔

^ sis how do you know na contractions sya and not braxton hicks? At 36wks kasi now, madalas na rin tumigas tummy ko.

 ^ako din sis madalas tumitigas na tummy ko pero nawawala din and hindi regular yung intervals so I believe braxton hicks lang. hindi rin matagal and may mga oras na feeling ko tulog na si baby kasi walang movement. hehe.

Hi, ladies. Sorry for the late reply. I thought it was Braxton-Hicks before. But then it became more uncomfortable and painful than what I believed Braxton-Hicks would be. True enough, when I was hooked up sa machine, may mga moderate contractions na nga ako. And there was a point pa when baby's heart rate dipped when it coincided with a contraction. That was a cause of concern as well. Kaya baby and I were monitored na agad overnight. It's really more on gutfeel and that constant feeling that something was not right. 😟

I had a very light spotting kanina.. brownish.. mga 2 spots siguro...
But since I didn't feel any pain... in-observe ko muna though bigla kong naiprepare yung mga bags ko 
And looks like, it's because of the IE I had yesterday...  I got too excited.. akala ko pa naman lalabas na si baby... I've been praying pa naman na today or tomorrow sana ako manganak....

Mukhang malapit na sis @foxlady  ako hoping naman mga 2nd week na ng October manganak para sulit yung ML hehe.. Good Luck to all of us! Hoping for a safe and normal delivery

By the way, I hope hindi OT... if ever kasi na this weekend ako manganak, baka hindi ko makasama si bf... out-of-town kasi sya because of work and earliest na balik nya is Monday night 

Question lang sisses, how long will the hospital wait for the birth certificate form to be completed before nila iprocess ang birth cert? Worst case kasi, baka pagbalik ni bf ng Manila, discharged na kami sa hospital.. e kailangan ng father's signature sa birth cert ni baby, di ba?   Pwede bang to follow immediately yun?

malapit na ka na maganak sis .. nakaka excite !. ako im due on december. excited na ko mag maternity leave. hahaha parang gusto ko nalang kasi mag pahinga the whole day,. anyway question kailan kayo nag maternity leave? 2, 2 weeks or 1 week before ng due nyo?

^ i'm planning to have elective CS on Oct 27 or 28. Yung ML ko, start ng Oct 26. Pero EDD ko talaga is Nov 8 so Oct 26 is 2 weeks before Nov 8. Gusto ko lang sulitiin yung ML ko with my little one kaya sinagad ko.
