^ in our case, our HMUA's assistant really became our PA. kasama namin siya everywhere we go along with our photographer and stylist. pag mahangin, he fixes my hair agad. kahit pag hawi ng buhok ko, siya na gumagawa. pag pawis, ready na agad ang tissues. in between takes, our photographer would ask him to fix something about me or h2b's hair and makeup and he'd be ready with his tools.

our outfits naman were handled by the stylist. like the gowns should flow a certain way, h2b's suit should be folded here and there. our photographer asks them also to fix our outfits when they're out of place. its a team work talaga. at one point, i got 4 people fixing me while all i had to do was i stand and smile.

hi sis Chili1113 i got my friend as my HMUA for our pre-nup. I did a trial with my wedding HMUA but I did not want to fly her in ma for the prenup and decided I hire a local HMUA. Too much OOT fees na since we flew in our photographer also. I decided not to get a stylist also and relied on my existing clothes and just bought new shoes to match these. My prenup HMUA joined us for the whole day of shooting. Not to the point naman na we asked her to carry our stuff (h2b and i did that, the photographers also carried their own stuff), but my HMUA was there to do every retouch needed. We had about 4 sets in general and both HMUA and photo team made sure we looked good.

Just called The Greenery to inquire about our last minute prenup video shoot. It is 7500 for 4 hours. Is that rate normal? I find it a bit steep, but then I have no idea what the usual rate is. We arent allowed to bring food and drinks too,we have to order from them. Plus up to 6 other couples can shoot at the same time.Has anyone done their prenup here? I would appreciate comments and feedback. Thanks!

Another question I have is regarding the HMUA. How necessary is it to have the HMUA with you at all times? My preferred artist isnt available in the afternoon to come with us to the shoot. So I am thinking of just doing the retouching myself. Is that a bad idea? Is it much better to just hire anothe HMUA who can stay the whole time?

choice ko din the greenery for our prenup shoot pero namahalan din ako and sabi nila additional 1k every hour pag lumagpas ng 4hrs kaya nag alangan ako kasi ayoko madaliin yung shoot namin para lang sumakto sa 4hours so naghanap ako ng new venue at sa lakeshore napili namin =)

Sis Chili1113 I believe this year lang nagtaas ang rate ng The greenery, dati around 4K lang sila eh anyway marami ako nakita na prenup na maganda when it was taken there but a good alternative is The Lakeshore just like what Sis miah recommended kasi pareho lang naman sila na may lake and tower and malayo sa manila. mas malayo lang ng konti yung The Lakeshore.

For HMUA, hairstylist yung makakasama ko and as per my HMUA dapat daw hairstylist make sure na wala akong pawis and good looking sa mga pictures so retouch every now and then tapos change look. kasama na yun sa package na kinuha ko

yes tama ka sis, ako share ko lang experience ko about HMUA during prenup ok din na kasama mo sila kasi mainit kahit gaano pa kakapal yung makeup sayo papawisan ka talaga so mas ok ireretouch ka lagi or may taga abot ng tissue or taga punas ng pawis mo habang ng shoot kayo....

Im still torn about my makeup artist issue! Haaaay and puro booked na lahat ng HMUA for my shoot date except Nini Marquez, and Majica. And they cost about 5k Ckinky Tanjuatco costs 6500 but she is only available at around 10:30 onwards.

BTW where did you have your 1st makeup look done? On location?I suppose kasi this is done before we even leave my house.

Chilli, I had my prenup a month ago and my makeup artist was with me the entire time. I had 3 outfits and 3 different looks that went with it. He was very attentive during the shoot and made sure that my hair and makeup was ok. He was like a stylist and hmua at the same time. It helped a lot that my hmua was with me the whole time because I only had to focus on doing different poses. It made the shoot easier and took less time than it would if I had not brought my makeup artist with me. Hope this helps.

sis Chili1113its true sis. Kaya naman self retouch before. Suggestion to get HMUA for prenup din is because it is really tiring even if fun din siya. so getting a HMUA to fix you up can help you relax also and enjoy your shoot more.

Sa studio ni HMUA ang initial make up tapos sasama na lang daw ang hairstylist with me. ganun din ang set up ng bestfriend ko whe she had her prenup ok naman yung change look na ginawa ng hairstylist kasi marunong din talaga mag  make up.

Our prenup is in 3 weeks time. At mukhang need talaga namin kumuha ng stylist. Overseas based here and we really don't have time ba magconceptualize at magshop for clothes. I didn't realize ang mahal din pala magagastos since we have to pay for stylist, venue, food, gas, HMUA. Oh well, kung may time lang talaga.

prenup location options:
1. clearwater in angeles (itatanong pa namin rate)
2. greenery kaso ang mahal na nila 10k na yata! kakaloka! may excess hours pa charge sabi ng friend ko.
3. lakeshore kasi mura nya, may pagkain pa yata na kasama daw sa 3k
4. manila area: eco park o qc wildlife haha...tipid na to as in.

 medyo ingat lang din po tayo kasi based sa mga experiences ng friends ko may mga make up artists na hindi nagreretouch sa prenup o wedding. ang init init pa naman hindi ba? kaya ako ang tinitingnan ko talaga hindi lang yung face, yung mga kulay o yung portfolio o mga gamit ng hmua. gusto ko makita how they treat their brides sa shoot. baka mamaya humulas hulas din ako di na yun mabubura sa photos. forever pa naman iyon kaya medyo huli ako magbobook.

ganyan din feeling ko pero hindi ako overseas pero ayoko lang kasi talaga yung mamoblema kung ano susuotin or setup na gagawin... tipong hindi ako makatulong ng maayos kakaisip about prenup so we decided na kumuha nalang ng stylist less hassle pa hehe.... kasi para sakin isang beses lang naman mag prenup so ibigay mo na ang lahat db? correct ka din sis kala ko ok at nakatipid kasi kasama sa package ni photo/video yung prenup shoot pero nung nag plano na kami grabe ang gastos din pala mag prenup.... suggest ko lang kung yung venue na pipiliin mo at kung mag stylist ka or HMUA kuha ka na ng malapit dun sa venue para wala ng out of town fee minsan kasi mas napapamahal kasi dagdag out of town fee pa eh...
