sis saan indoor prenup kayo? actually wala kaming picture sa lake at sa lighthouse dahil ayaw na nila ng ganong view gusto ng photo/video ko yung nature so dun kami sa mga madaming puno at talahiban haha... finally mas makakapag focus na sa wedding preps ulit hehe.. goodluck satin sis =)

somewhere in Bulacan sis, dun kami sa dapat na wedding venue namin pero we didn't book kasi medyo maliit. parang pinto gallery siya pero smaller. ganda nga ng grass and nature effect sis, very good si photographer niyo!  2 weeks to go before our prenup!

done with our prenup at sierra madre. im gonna hold off muna on posting reviews until wala pa yung official photos. it was really fun despite of some hiccups. i also experienced yung sinasabi nilang feeling celebrity during the shoot. nakakatuwa even h2b had fun kahit kontra siya sa prenup to begin with. we were also blessed with a good weather, it didn't rain at all during our shoot, nagpa-alay kasi ako ng itlog sa mother ko (i swear it works every time! lol)

our prenup was like a practice/dry run for the wedding. last time i met our photographer was during booking pa, but because of the prenup shoot, we became so much comfortable with him and we saw how he actually worked. hmua naman gave me a lot of tips and advise on the beauty preps i need to do for the wedding. super helpful because i wouldn't have thought of them if not for the trial makeup. so i guess it makes more sense to have the same suppliers for prenup and wedding, if not kasi then its like you're just really practicing on posing with h2b. unless of course your purpose talaga is just to have good couple pics.

we spent almost double ng initial budget ko for the prenup. half of the budget napunta sa stylist, venue and hmua. the other half naman for out of town fees, food, tips and the few sets of clothes we bought for the shoot. but even if we went over budget, i think tipid pa rin kahit papaano. i can imagine how the prenup budget could shoot up if you get a high end stylist or an expensive out of town venue. siguro it really depends on how much you're willing to spend.

tip for mel orlina brides: she let's her clients borrow 2 gowns for free, required lang to dry clean before isoli. you can't really choose kasi it depends on what's available and yung kasya sayo. try to have them reserved as early as possible kasi unahan talaga ang pag hiram. best time to try on gowns is weekday morning, wala pa masyadong clients so they are free to accommodate you. i had to go back twice and was lucky enough to get two beautiful gowns. even my suppliers during the prenup sobrang natuwa kasi ang ganda ng gowns.

Just called The Greenery to inquire about our last minute prenup video shoot. It is 7500 for 4 hours. Is that rate normal? I find it a bit steep, but then I have no idea what the usual rate is. We arent allowed to bring food and drinks too,we have to order from them. Plus up to 6 other couples can shoot at the same time.Has anyone done their prenup here? I would appreciate comments and feedback. Thanks!

Another question I have is regarding the HMUA. How necessary is it to have the HMUA with you at all times? My preferred artist isnt available in the afternoon to come with us to the shoot. So I am thinking of just doing the retouching myself. Is that a bad idea? Is it much better to just hire anothe HMUA who can stay the whole time?

^sis I only have 2 looks in my prenup. My HMUA was with me the whole time. Well nakaupo lang naman sya since sa resto lang kami. Sa 2nd look nilagyan nga lang nya clip yung hair ko kasi sa 1st nakalugay lang. Then konting retouch lang.

Ah OK! So pwede kahit magpa makeup nalang ako sa kanya before leaving for the shoot, then ako nalang bahala mag retouch noh? I thought kasi, the whole time nakaalalay the HMUA taga retouch and ayos ng hair pag nagulo. Then for 2nd/3rd loook the add more color to the eyeshadow or something.

As much as possible sana kasi I want to get my wedding HMUA to do my face so I can sorta do a trial makeup na din with her. Or if not a trial... at least masanay na sya to do my face hehe. And If di ko type her makeup, Ill still have time to look for another artist for the wedding. I booked kasi without a trial kasi konti lang naman deposit.

if your makeup artist can't join you on site, maybe he/she can recommend his/her assistant?
in our case, yung hairstylist niya lang ang sumama sa amin, it worked well kasi with different looks, i also had different hair, and i couldn't style my hair the way he did if i was on my own. marunong din siya magmakeup so he also did the retouches for me and fiance.
siguro it depends on the kind of looks you're going for. if its easy to manage and comfortable ka naman in doing retouches by yourself, then you should be fine.

The reason why same hmua din nagprenup sakin since wala naman ako trial sa kanya gusto ng husband ko makita kung bagay daw make up sakin kaya kahit 3500 ang bayad sa kanya sa prenup nag go kami. Happy naman kami sa result dami nagsasabi mas maganda make up ko sa prenup compare sa kasal. Haha! May iba ko friends pag prenup nila don sila nagpapatrial sa hmua nila para free make up na din. Then sila nalang nagreretouch. Di kasi ako marunong mag make up kaya gusto ko stand by lang si hmua ko sa venue

bzbee: Thanks so much for the tip! I just texted my HMUA if she has an assistant that can come with me. If not kasi, Ill just request that we do a real trial makeup session on the day itself. Ill just wake up early hahaah

shygirlme: How many months before your wedding was your prenup shoot? Baka nakalimutan na ng HMUA yung same look mo nung prenup kaya nag iba yung makeup? Anyway, baka ganon nalang gawin ko.

SORRY ha to ask this question. I know makeup artists arent your personal PAs. But kasi I know some people whose HMUA really assisted them, even helping them with their bags and things. I dont expect that naman from my HMUA. But, I was wondering how diligent are they when it comes to retouching? Like are the just watching you the whole time and ready to approach you any time you start getting oily or disheveled? 

If that is the case, then I suppose it would be better for me to really bring a HMUA onsite. But if they will just retouch we with powder and blush every hour or so, then I can really just retouch myself.

^a week before my wedding lang yun prenup ko sis. Sabi ni hmua pag wedding daw talaga mas makapal ang make up (ang puti ng mukha ko) kasi whole day sya.
