Low Basic Pay - Higher Non Tax Allow

Hi, guys just want to ask what is your take on this, a company gave you a package where in you will have a lower basic pay but much higher non tax allow this is to make a take home pay a lot bigger..

Is there any other disadvantage aside from the 13th month pay?
