Buying Used Cars Tips and Tricks

First time second hand car buyer here - ask ko lang if kapag nagscout kayo ng different units do you bring along the payment which is cash? I'm worried kasi to bring a big amount of cash.  Ang payo ng isa kong friend magdala na ng money. Pero naisip ko na magscout muna and then balikan na lang kung [textspeak!] ang magustuhan. 

Any other tips of payment aside from cash, managers cheque? TIA! :-)

pag mga businesses they accept managers cheque. pero kung direct ka sa owner usually cash talaga yan. i've already sold 2 cars and both times cash ang binayad sakin. may counting machine ako yung parang sa bank and pang detect rin ng fake.

tignan mo muna yung car don't bring cash right away unless of course super layo yung place and ayaw mo nang bumalik pa like yung bumili ng car ko taga pangasinan pa and ako sa qc. may dala na silang cash.

there's no other way sis cash or manager's cheque lang pwede. let's wait for others here kung may iba pa silang ginamit na way of payment that is safe for both buyers and sellers.

Looks like I'm leaning towards buying from a used car company kasi mas flexible ang options. Called automobilico and they accept cash, managers cheque and bank deposit as well.

I'll wait for other suggestions but for information na rin ng mga ibang sis na interested to buy used car.

^Sis, if I may suggest.. We bought our car from BDO car depot sa may Baesa, QC. Daming nagbubuy and sell na kumukuha sa kanila kasi talagang mas mura. May nakasabay kami ang daming kinuha. You might want to check BDO's list of pre-owned vehicles para you can choose kung may available model na gusto mo. 10k downpayment hiningi sa amin then the rest sa branch na namin binayaran. Bale Saturday yun nung nag down kami, Wednesday nagbayad kami full payment, Thursday narelease na yung vehicle. Pwede rin auto loan.

Check mo often yung site nila sis (https://www.bdo.com.ph/mobile/properties-for-sale/vehicles) para kung may magustuhan ka, tawag ka lang agad to verify kung available pa yung unit na gusto mo. Bilis kasi mabili ng mga cars nila. Naka dalawang balik kami dati kasi nung una nabili na agad yung gusto namin. Kaya nung sumunod na may bagong post sa site nila, tawag agad kami tapos punta na kami agad kasi baka maunahan hehe. Btw sis, magsama ka na rin ng mechanic pag nag visit ka para sulit ang punta mo.
