Hi girls. I just want to share my TTC journey. We've been married for over 3 years. I have PCOS and hubby has low sperm count due to low testosterone and high estrogen. My ob is Dr. Eileen Manalo of Asian Hospital, St. Lukes BGC and Makati Med. Last year palang, she advised us to do the IUI pero wala pa kaming budget so pinatake niya muna si hubby ng pampababa ng estrogen in effect tataas testosterone niya and sperm count. I believe it was a breast cancer medication pero ganun ang effect sa sperm, it's called Anastrozole. I also started taking Metformin in January 2015. Naging busy kami sa careers and forgot about TTC until my maid of honor got pregnant. Nainggit na naman ako and started seeing my ob last Feb 18, 2016. Sabi ko, doc, I want to do the IUI na. And so we did on March 4 at St. Lukes BGC. Sperm washing was done at CARMI. I had to do 2 IUIs in one day kasi 550,000 lang ang sperm ni hubby post wash during the first round and sabi ni doc, kulang daw un. She asked him to take viagra for the second round and nag increase ang count nya to 10 million post wash. 5 million lang naman daw ang kailangan so good to go na kami. I had only one dominant follicle using Letrozole, Gonal-F and Ovidrel. After the agonizing two week wait, I finally got my BFP. I just can't believe that my first IUI worked. Sobrang thankful ako kay God and kay doc. I'm now 16 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. We found out the gender at 14 weeks. Sana makatulong ang story ko sa inyo. Wish you luck and baby dust to all. I know how every TTC woman feels. Kaya kahit dapat sa mga pregnancy forums na ako tumatambay ngayon, I still feel that I need to share my story in forums like these to give hope to women like me na sobrang hirap ng pinagdadaanan just to have our most awaited bundle of joy. ^congrats and good luck!  so, kay dra manalo ka din pala 😉. tulad mo patient din nya ako years ago.  i was 28 when we started tapos on and off nya ako patient kasi malala yung case ko.  i finally got pregnant at 35, gave birth at 36 and my son is now 10 years old.  like you tumatambay din ako dito to share what i went through and to give hope 😊.   baby dust to those who wants them 😘😘😘

Wow mga sis! Thanks for sharing your stories. Naging magaan loob ko lalo na't dinatnan na naman ako today. 1.5 yrs na kaming trying kasi pareho kami ni hubby na may prob. Thank you so much talaga at di nyo pinagdadamot stories nyo. 😊

^Hindi pa sis. Kaka-start lang din kasi namin magpa-work up.

Kelan ka po nag start? Ako kasi 1st cycle ko pa lang ng serophene. After taking serophene sinabi ng sono pcos daw right ovary ko. Low sperm din si DH pero naka 2 months na rin siya ng serophene.

CD27 today. Diagnosed with bilateral pcos. Nagpills ako for 5mos then i stopped last month kase dadating na si hubby nun and we'll TTC. Actually di ko alam kung nag ovulate ako this cycle. Bumili ako PT kanina, not sure kung kelan ko gagamitin. Prior to taking pills e ireg ang mens ko. So di ko sure kung kelan talaga ako magkakaron this month. Hay, this is frustrating. Aalis na ulit si hubby sa Monday. So if i don't get pregnant this time, next year na kami makakapagtry ulit. 😔

sis damonsgirl, i had bilateral blocked tubes because of pelvic tb.  😶. hindi ko alam kung bakit ako nagka-pelvic tb and wala din yung usual symptoms kaya ayun, pero by the time na pumunta ako ke dra manalo cured na ako pero blocked na nga yung 2 tubes.  11 years ago hindi pa ganun kalaganap yung ivf sa pinas so sabi nya bakit di ko daw i-try sa india, pero yung asawa ko hindi at ease dun so pati ako nag research din and found bumrungrad hospital.  we tried 2 times and yun nga, on my 2nd try nandun na si nate 👍.  si dra manalo yung nagpush for the ivf, sya yung nandun mula sa pag make sure na ok ako for ivf, nakikipagcommunicate sa dr ko sa thailand hanggang sa nung manganak ako sa asian hospital.

^ this was 11 years ago pa sis, pero it took mga 250k for the ivf procedure, hotel and airfare, plus a bit of shopping.  we were in bangkok for 2 weeks.   feeling ko mas mura na sya kasi mas marami ka ng choices now, unlike before na ang choices lang were india or taiwan.  nagkataon lang na nahanap ko yung bumrungrad (www.bumrungrad.com).  sister hospital sya ng asian hospital.

Sis mommynin8, alam ko yung hospital na yan. Nag honeymoon kasi kami sa Thailand tapos yung hotel namin Best Western katabi lang yung hospital na yan. Alam ko nga madaming patients nun yung naka check in sa hotel namin. Si doc manalo din nagpa anak sayo sis? Ngayon gumagawa na din ng ivf si doc manalo. Sabi ko nga sa pinsan ko na blocked tubes din mag ivf nalang.
