Hello sisses! Finished backreading.. Hingi lang sana ako ng opinion nyo, aspiring immigrant here.

So far, WES and IELTS palang inaasikaso namin ni hubby. Medyo kailangan namin magmadali kasi tumatanda na kami.

Re proof of funds - yung joint account kasi namin nasa BPI pero nandoon din yung housing loan namin. I read from another forum that it's not advisable to declare the housing loan. I have an account with BDO, mas safe ba kung dito nalang kami mag ipon ng pang POF and ito isubmit namin or okay lang yung sa BPI as long as hindi namin ideclare yung loan? Ang mangyayari kasi ililipat namin paunti unti yung nasa joint dito sa BDO plus yung monthly namin na savings din.

^Hi sis. My family (parent and siblings, and relatives on mom side except me) are Canadian immigrants. Although the last to migrate was ten years ago, maybe our experience might help?

I recall them saying to declare your liquid assets, not liabilities. If the application packet does not ask about liabilities, then you can omit it. It also depends on what legal paperwork your bank (BPI, you said?) can produce. If they are legally bound to declare your liabilities alongside your assets, then you don't have a choice and it will be shown in your application submissions. Maybe check what proof of income document is required as part of your application, and ask BPI what do they issue for such requests to see if the housing loan is declared?

Keep in mind that they also look at the longevity of your account and the average daily balance --- that's the proof that the money is really yours, hindi instant cash na hiniram lang to demonstrate proof of funds. If you move your account to BDO, and it's young (few months old), it might cause a problem? Unless you can somehow demonstrate you've had the funds a long time, just happened to open a new account.

Hope this helps but please consider this simply an opinion from experience as I'm not an immigration professional. I happen to follow the topic, US and Canada immigration, because of personal interest. Sana may makapag-comment na mas recent ang experience =)

^Hello sis. The BDO account is over 5 years na, but the transactions are not consistent. Maybe it would be safer if we submit it instead of the BPI. Sayang efforts if ma-deny, haha. Thanks so much sis!

I've read somewhere na you can include "monetary gifts" basta kailangan lang idisclose properly and attach a letter of explanation. Or for instances na nagbenta ka ng property para sa POF mo, magiging "instant" din yung laman sa SOA, so pareho din kailangan mag attach ng letter of explanation. Ganun ginawa nung 1 Blogger na nabasa ko, they sold their property para gamitin for their POF for their Canada Migration.

^Hi sis. Read about it nga rin sa ibang forum. Affidavit ata yung sinubmit nung sa nabasa ko. We're planning to sell our car din since wala namang ibang sasalo so baka ganito gawin namin if ever.

^Wala pa Sis, kasi 2 yrs lang validity ng IELTS while yung ECA from WES is valid naman for 5 years (by validity I mean yung pwede pa din tanggapin ng CIC). May timeline kasi kami sinusundan, so pause muna kami sa processing, focus sa pagsecure ng POF. 

Regarding your question, I don't think so Sis, may instances kasi (based on what Ive read) na kailangan ng LOE for certain things na di naman na kailangan pa ng affidavit or notary, like yung issue namin sa COE, may format kasing kailangan diba which is yung detailed dapat yung tasks and responsibilities natin, most of the Companies sa Pinas standard ang format ng COE, Applicants are strongly advised to secure one, pero in the event na di talaga kaya, we can attach a LOE kung bakit wala tayo maprovide. Sample lang yan where LOEs are used. May forum ako sinalihan sa FB, you might want to check it out. Very helpful mga Members, madami din Immigration Specialists sa group.

^I mean CIC will only accept our ECA 5 yrs from the date they were issued, inedit ko na din post ko sa taas. Sorry, this is a thread for Canada kaya I assumed we were discussing using IELTS and ECA for the sole purpose of our Immigration Application to Canada, kaya diniretso ko na sa "validity", my bad.

Hi sisses. Ask ko lang kung meron dito or may kakilala kayo na single parent pero naging PR pa rin? Married, pero not legally separated. No relatives din sa Canada. I tired using the Come to Canada tool sa IRCC website, eligible naman. Kaso lang iniisip ko syempre pag nag requirements gathering na, ano kaya yung mga hihingin. Read from another forum kasi na parang dapat legally separated. Sana may ibang options pa.

If you are not legally separated, you must declare him as your husband pero hindi sya sasama. I think non-accompanying dependent yung tawag  dun. My friend kasi is a single mom pero legally separated. Another thing she had to do, she had to ask the ex to sign a paperwork saying na hindi nya hahabulin ang mag ina and try to migrate through family sponsorship. You can also check at Canada Visa forum. I'm sure there are a lot of people with the same situation as you do.

dapat ba mauna ako magpa-assess sa WES ng degree ko before sa IRCC? How much kaya estimate nun kasi may mga tax + shipping fee pa. ngayon lang ako nag register, medyo di ko pa maintindihan. although may brother naman ako dun, kaso baka tulog na hehe. ang hirap pala pag di na mama mo ang nagf-fill up ng form HAHAHA!

^yes sis sa WES muna. iirc, nasa 13,500 yung binayaran ko sa WES tapos around 2k sa DHL for shipping.

^sa british columbia target ko. andun din kasi yung brother ko. hahaha! ayaw ko mag-isa. sana ma-accredit naman yung bachelor's degree ko dito doon. although ok lang din naman blue collar job if ever pero sana yung maging work ko dun in line sa work ko dito huhu.


nag back read ako sayo sis, parang may ka pa nag start ng application? yung IRCC application ko kasi 60 days lang valid lang nakasulat. nakaka-kaba nga din yang IELTS na yan. pero sabi naman ng kuya ko madali lang naman daw. kaso ang tagal ko na din atang hindi 'academic' kasi. nag review class ka pa ba or self study lang?
