cosmochick Hi Sis, nagreresearch din ako nowadays with regards to Immigrating sa Canada. But we will still prepare all the required documents such as IELTS/ECA thru WES and of course yung settlement fund and tons of info and docs in relation to my travels (based ako sa Qatar) so this will be a tedious task.

I'm no expert but from the way I understand the process, after mo gumawa ng EE account/profile, bago ka magsubmit if sure ka and confident ka na sa presumed/estimated CRS rate or score mo, you can go ahead na sa submission and wait for your ITA after nila irank lahat ng Applicants sa pool.

But if not, there are 2 ways to earn additional 600 pts, which is a job offer or a provincial nomination. Once nominated or meron na job offer, sure na tayo kasi malaki laki madadagdag, maximum I think is 1200 pts.

Thing is not all province nagnonominate ngayon, some are closed for applications, most naman naghahanap ng relation/connection sa Province (like work experience, relatives and information sessions), some kailangan ng job offer and some may list ng in demand jobs na hinahire.

For provincial nominee sis, you have to make an application for that as well. Pag approved ang provincial nomination then iincrease na yung points mo.

But in order to get nominated for PNP or before submitting an application to PNP, there are certain points that you need to meet.

^Ah ganun ba sis? Point system pa rin? Akala ko basta may relation ka sa province then you can submit an application na. At least for Manitoba Provincial Nominee, ganun ang pagkakatanda ko. Iba na pala. Grabe ang immigration policies talaga. Kaya pag gusto mo magmigrate, go go go ka na dapat agad dahil next thing you know, may bago na naman.

^^ based on my research it really varies, iba ibang Province iba iba din rules, pero yeah it will start with the pts na kailangan ma reach prior to application, pero nag mock assessment ako and achievable naman pts mostly minimum 60-67. The questions are basic naman like age, educational attainment, work experience, relatives etc pareho sa EE halos.

Once na reach pts we can proceed with our application, from there magvary naman requirements depende sa province, yung iba kailangan ng job offer, yung iba relation (relatives living in that province), canadian work experience or information session attendance, meron din based sa job in demand list nila.

Meron naman like OINP (Ontario) after mo magpasa sa EE pool and they ranked you na, once naka 400 + (not sure the exact CRS score)  automatic ka nila papadalhan ng ITA (invitation to apply). So far, we are hoping and praying sumakto kami sa Nova Scotia PNP, closed sila ngayon, pero isa sila sa pinaka lenient ang requirement, and pasok kami sa job in demand list nila.

We were targeting New Brunswick before, kaso nagiba na sila requirements. So not only are we expected to complete the requirements, kailangan din perfect yung timing ng application and preparation, kasi anytime nagkoclose sila and  nagbubukas. Kailangan talaga bantayan.

We badly need a provincial nomination, kapag di kami nakahanap ng Employer in a yr or 2. I don't think aabot kami ng 400 pts.  Madami kami relatives kaso wala don sa province na pwede kami mag apply. Tricky and tedious. But Im sure worth it. 

As of writing, focused kami sa IELTS, self review lang and sa pagiipon for the settlement fund and research.

Tapos na kami ng Ielts sis and ok na rin ang ICAS namin kaya lang maliit pa rin ang points. We really need to get a PNP to have that 600 additional points.

So wait na lang kami when mag open ang PNP. Is it advisable to secure all the requirements like Police clearance ahead of time? Or wait na lang for PNP to open?

^^ not sure sa longevity ng validity ng NBI Clearance natin Sis, ako kasi based ako abroad nasa Qatar ako, so 2 isecure ko Police Clearance. Tricky din talaga timing, I suggest magsecure ka nalang kapag malapit ka na magsubmit (i.e. meron ka na PNP and/or job offer) or confident ka na sa pts nyo and gusto mo na isubmit application.

I think yun Police Clearance need kumuha pag may invitation na.

Hindi din ganun kadali magapply ng PNP lalo na kun kulang ng points hehe. Dapat pasok ka sa 67 points. Ilan ang points mo sis @Rory? Pasok sana ako sa Manitoba kaso wala naman relatives

hi sisses. balik research uli ako. naconvince ko na si hubby mag apply as immigrant, finally. last year mag ielts dapat ako kaso i gave birth, dami kabusyhan. my lo is turning 1 next month at medyo naka adjust na kami ni hubby sa pagiging parents lol kaya ito naman, kailangan paghandaan ang future ng bagets. sana palarin din kami kagaya nyo.

noob question lang, pwede ba makapunta ng canada kahit walang relatives doon? anong ways kaya para mapataas ang chance kahit walang relatives? thank you!

^under skilled worker program.  yung relatives naman for additional points lang.

^^ apply kayo sis thru provincial nominee program. may relatives kami pero distant relatives at sa ibang province sila sa inapplyan namin. saka onti lang naman din points kahit may relatives ka doon.

Sis ilang points mo sa province na inaaplayan mo? I guess PNP yan. hmm, not sure about the demand stream but as far as I know whether your skill is in demand or not dapat may connection sa Manitoba (relatives/family or job, study).

You're lucky based kayo sa Dubai may Visa Processing dyan, whereas dito sa Qatar wala, we have to send our documents via courier pa if ever.
