sis sana may makasagot sa question ko regarding SHOW MONEY or SETTLEMENT FUNDS yung show money ko kasi is $14,000 lang, sakto lang samin, 3 kasi kami eh, me, my husband and my son..  saktong sakto siya kasi diba 10k for primary applicant and 2k for dependents.. pero yung akin US dollar not canadian dollar so medyo sobra siya konti..

Ang question ko is ok na kaya yung show money ko na yun? Is is enough para maqualify ako?? Or need ko pang dagdagan like land title?? kasi yung friend ko, she's applying din sa canada and yung show money niya daw is P3 Million.. solo lang siya ha, wala siyang kasamang dependents.. kasi sabi niya palakihan daw ng funds para mas priority ka..

nung nag apply ba kayo?? magkano settlement funds niyo?? sakto lang ba or sobra sobra..

^I think just add everything you can. Are you applying the express entry na ba? Ang criteria for the ranking kasi is skills, work experience, language ability, education and other factors. I don't think settlement funds are additional points or baka mali ako. Personally, it doesn't sound right kung just because you have the money eh you will be at the top of the ranking.

sis cutemama as long as mameet mo yung minimum amount na required in CAD. i agree kay sis sarsingkit, i don't think na mas priority ang application kapag sobrang laki ng settlement funds.

Oo nga eh kaya nagulat ako sa sinabi ng friend ko na 3M daw sa kanya kasi palakihan..

Before sis ako yung primary applicant,  kaso closed pala yung nurses ngayon.. hindi na muna sila tumatanggap ng nurses doctors, professors and teachers..

Kaya sabi ng tita ko na magsponsor samin,  hindi na daw ako good candidate, kaya change ulit kami ng plan.. si hubby na lang magiging primary applicant.. kaso wala pa siya ielts kaya nagstart na siya magreview sa niners ngayon..

Re Winter boots

Almost everyday na ang snow dito sa Eastern side. anong winter boots ang gamit or preferred/recommended nyo?

Oo nga mga sis.. Need ba talaga waterproof ang boots or di naman masyado?

I have Firefly boots, yung parang Uggs, ok naman. Pero hindi pa naman sya nalulubog sa tubig so hindi ko sure if waterproof. I used that the whole winter kasi dry naman ang snow. Pag malapit na magspring and snow starts to melt, I have a waterproof one yung parang Hunter but mine is just Aldo.

If you want high quality talaga na boots for winter, Uggs and Sorel are good but they are expensive.

Oic.. Ok na pala yung mga boots ko, i have uggs na din and gum boots..

gusto ko din ng ugg boots, pero yung mga nagugustuhan ko mostly ay hindi pang winter or waterproof. re Sorel, i heard maganda nga din ang quality and warm talaga siya. medyo hindi lang din talaga ko sure if bagay sa akin ang mga duck boots ang style.

natry nyo na yung Timberland fold down boots? sale kasi sa Footlocker. update ko kayo next time

i am also eyeing for LL Bean, kasi okay ang review non, US based nga lang and pahirapan dahil laging backordered. duck boots inspired din, medyo hind maganda tignan pero based on IG photos, mukhang mas madaling bagayan naman.

mas okay din kung waterproof para just in case na umulan, safe pa din ang paa natin. until now, naka sneakers pa din ako kahit may snow, but ill make sure na hindi naman ako maglalakad ng matagal or maeexpose sa snow. hindi naman nilalamig ang paa ko kasi naka wool socks naman ako, madulas lang talaga siya minsan. pero once na kumapit kasi yung snow sa shoes mo, it will melt eventually and mababasa na rin, so pumapasok pa din yung lamig.

meron ding mga shoe protector spray na mabibili sa lahat ng mga shoe store. For me ugg lang gusto ko pang winter kasi comportable sa paa pero pag naglalaro kami sa snow sorel gamit ko. dito nga pala sa amin lagi mataas ang snow pag winter kaya dapat na mga winter shoes namin matataas para di mabasa at malamigan ang paa. In fairness yung kauna-unahang snow shoes ko na binili sa payless buhay pa rin after 12 years at mukha pa rin syang bago pag nakikita na suot ko akala bagong bili.

Kamik is a good Canadian brand for boots - not very expensive and nice design.
Proper winter boots should be able to withstand wet and dry snow.
With Uggs - they have the adirondack - which has good lining and can withstand wet snow. The soft Uggs is good only for porma. Sorel is another good brand you can try. Of late, naka sale na ang winter boots since the winter now was not as bad as last year.

Like for example ako, nagco-commute lang, so naglalakad ako sa snow (minsan malayong lakaran depende sa bus stop), at naghihintay ako sa bus stop minsan matagal.... Hindi kinaya ng normal na boots ko heheh... I bought my winter boots sa SoftMoc, dami naka-sale when we went to Vaughan Mills.

The kids really need winter boots. The school  will require them to wear snow pants/suit, and winter boots kasi they play outside during recess. We just bought theirs at Walmart. Meron din sana sa SoftMoc kaya lang wala na ng sizes nila.

Hi sis.. Kapag pumapasok mga kids mo as in naka proper snow attire sila? Hehe cute naman.. buti na lang sis namention mo.. Dami kasi naka sale now na snow boots here tapos ang mumura pa..

Kelan pala ang march break ng mga bata? Sabay sabay ba school break nila sa buong ontario? Kasi for sure nun kakadating lang namin and nagaadjust pa kameng lahat.

^ Yes sis berrycherry, pag pumapasok sila suot nila yun. Meron silang area, before they enter their classrooms, where they can hang their winter coats/jackets, pants/suits, leave their boots, etc...tapos sa loob ng school naka indoor shoes sila at normal clothes.

Well actually the older kids in school i notice not all wear winter pants anymore. Even my older daughter. Sabi ko ok lang basta huwag siyang gugulong-gulong sa snow para hindi mabasa pants nya. Unlike my younger daughter, ayun kahit na mag-snow angel sya at gumulong gulong sa snow ok lang heheh

Same lang yung march break sa buong ontario sis.
Malapit na pala arrival nyo. Excited na ba? hehe

Naku sis di pa nga kame naka empake e.. Tamad pa haha.. Mamimiss namin ang weather ng middle east. Though may work na si hubby pagdating namin dyan..
