Good thing I did not book her directly. Since recomended sya ng coordinator ko, naka full ako. So sakanya ako nagpabook. friends naman sila, kaya sya na bahala kay Eds. Nasend din naman saken kaagad yung contract.

Hi mga sis! I've been reading this thread since I got engaged last November 2015. Super helpful ng mga feedback especially on things to consider when looking for your make up artist. Though, unfortunately, yung mga nakikita kong names so far whose work I liked based sa portfolio did not work out for me because of schedule. April 2016 na kasi kagad wedding ko so mostly booked na.

So I kept searching lang sa facebook for make-up artists and found a make up artist who I liked based on the portfolio. After exchange of details, available sia for both my prenup date and wedding. What's even greater is super affordable yung wedding and prenup rates niya. Pero she uses high-end make up brands.

Long story short, I booked her (w/o trial) and we had our prenup shoot last Tuesday, Feb 9. She was super early sa venue namin (Palazzo Verde). She did great on my make up. Especially in hiding mga pimple marks. Also, like she said, no short cut [textspeak!] make up nia kaya medyo nagtagal [textspeak!] initial make up (which I didn't mind). She applied moisturizer sa face and lips and primer before [textspeak!] actual make up. Ang clean pa ng set up niya and mukhang hygienic.

Si Vera? mukhang ok naman sya sis. Why? I think you can ask naman Eds kung may pag ka, kung kaya ba ng hair stylist nya yun before booking Eds.

Eds Go bride here. Recently lang 2 weeks ago yung wedding. Vera and Eds personally did my second look. Hindi naman oil blotter lang, full retouch talaga. Mabait si Eds and her team. At ang galing magkilay! Kahit yung staff niya. Chinecheck din ni Eds yung gawa ng staff niya. She makes it a point na pulido and bagay sa face. They were on time and professional. Sa hairstyle naman, Vera did great also. You can show them your pegs and then gagayahin nila. Eds also did a final check on everyone she and her staff did and would suggest if may hindi bagay or need ayusin. You can never go wrong with her and her team.

We our at the very early stage of planning. So I've been reading threads and doing inquiries here and there for us to set very realistic budget wedding.

Lahat na yata ng HMUA na nabanggit dito naginquire ako ng rate. And so far super panalo yung ongoing promo ni Val Villarin, until today lang yata or tomorrow. 12,500 - bride airbrush make up, groom traditional make up, + 4 pax traditional make up, includes free retouch, free 2nd look, free prenup make up, additional head - 850 per head traditional make up.

Di pa ako nagkakabook ng venue pero super nattempt ako na habulin tong promo rate niya, ang laki ng matitipid! Nappressure ako. Haha. 3,500 dp. What do you girls think?

^nauna akong magbook ng hmua kesa sa venue ko hahaha!! di na ko nagdalawang isip non kay Nini kasi gusto ng husband ko gawa nya.

@ericaorange - I think you should check first the reviews of certain HMUAs before making decisions... Minsan nasisilaw tayo sa mga promos before making proper research then in the end we will complain. Good luck sis

Almost same with sis @shygirlme, my wedding will be on January 2017 and already booked the venue then hmua service of Ms. Nini (atleast pang second lang sya sa binook ko hehe). Aside from natural yung work nya sa make-up, mas kampante din kasi ako na girl yung magmamake-up sakin, alam ko na she will not overdo make-up on my face, plus the fact that I loved her work on bridal hair. Yung iba kasi, iba taga make-up at iba din gumagawa ng hair nila, si Ms. Nini isang package of craft na sya..

^korek sis kaya si Nini din kinuha ko bawas sa papakainin na supplier haha! kuripot mode. pero super ok si Nini. the reason din why my husband wants her nadala sya dati sa mga nagmemake up sakin na bakla. di ko mean mang offend ha. pero nagmumukha daw akong bakla pag bakla nagmemake up sakin. kaya gusto nya girl talaga mag aayos sakin.
