Thea plus 3 of her team members didn't left me. They stayed until reception, actually tinapos talaga nila. So super sulit ng binayad ko since same hmua and hairstylist did my reception hair and makeup. i'm glad that none of my suppliers do double {or even triple} booking.

I agree with sis chilli that you have to inform your clients/brides of all the details of your services. Whether it be a reception look c/o the main hmua or an assistant. Sometimes we brides tend to assume na the head hmua will do the second look and then to be surprised na di pala. It also somehow feels like false advertising. Since it was not stated in the contract, therefore don't assume. Parang ganon..

If Eds Go is that in demand nowadays, she may opt to charge a higher fee and accept one booking per day or multiple bookings pa din provided the brides are informed of the situation.

Justine, on the otherhand, didn't come with me to church but stayed in my room and waited for me for my second look. This was disclosed during our prenup shoot and I was completely fine with that because i was informed prior to the event.

Chilli, don't mind her sister na lang. Many brides to be, either active or not, have read the previous posts about her work. It's a good heads up for those considering her services.

Sis please don't get me wrong, but are you friends with Thea? I was thinking that's why she stayed until the very end. Was worried she will not fo the same for me if I'll book her.

Thanks mdnextdoor!! =) =) Tee hee I got nervous with all this talk and messaged Ish, my wedding HMUA. She assured me that she only takes 1 wedding a day, and will personally do my retouch and 2nd look. =) It doesn't specifically say that on the contract, but it is on her rate sheet- that she will personally stay until the couple's grand entrance at the reception.

sis warning lang kay Val, call time namin was 10am, and he arrived at 2pm. Ceremony was scheduled at 4pm. So yes, ganun kaiksing time para maayusan ako. Wala akong shots prior sa ceremony dahil nga super late na dumating si Val. Yung sa groom, ang gaganda ng mga kuha niya since ang ganda ng venue. Sakin, wala talaga 

Kahit ganon ka-late, hindi ako nagpaka beast mode. Kasi mahahalata talaga sa pictorial pag badtrip ka. So I kept my cool, kahit nung dumating siya wala siya narinig na kahit ano galing sakin. Nakipag chummy chummies pa din ako kasi gusto ko magaan lang lahat. Ayoko ma stress. Pero nung makita ko AVP nung wedding, ang lungkot ko kasi ang ganda sana ng panahon nung time ng preparation, tapos after ceremony, dun na umulan. nagkagulo na so hindi na din ako nakuhaanan ng maayos at sa mga magagandang areas for post nup.

Hindi muna sana ko magpo post ng supplier ratings kasi wala pa masyado time pero inuna ko na muna yung kay Val para warning lang sa mga future clients niya.

according to our coord, he used the same alibi before. So our theory is wala na talaga yung dad niya at ginagamit na lang niya kapag nali-late siya.

I agree with sis shygirlme, hindi dapat ginagamit ang parent's death as an excuse lalo na if hindi totoo.

Virtual hugs sis Juyjuy , I admire you for keeping your cool, kung ako yun at 11:00 am pa lang nagpahanap na ako ng ibang HMUA. I'll be getting a different team for my entourage but trusted ko din s'ya to do bridal make-up so if my MUA is an hour late, i-tap ko na ang entourage make-up artist ko to do my make-up.

Also sisses, when you do trial make-up ba, is it normal for the HMUA to expect na you will immediately book? Ang weird lang ng isang future trial MUA ko, parang disappointed siya na I'm having trial with others.

Hermione28, thea is my hmua since 2012, and i always get her as hmua when i go to events so we became friends eventually plus her sister and I used to work together too {when we're in QC pa}.

I just finalized my booking with my HMUA. I haven't met him yet pero very good reviews from people, kasi mga drag queens sila sa O-Bar and MUA sa YFSF ng ABSCBN. Also, sulit ang rates na binigay nila. So happy with this! kahit yun MUA ng entourage namin, from O-Bar din - yung MUA ko for my prenup!

Question: normally ba sagot din natin ang HMU ng entourage? Iniisip ko kasi di ba pinapupunta natin sila as hotel earlier for pictorial, dapat ba ayos na sila nun? And sa mga chinese brides, kapag sinagutan nyo yung HMU nila and malamang pati food, do you still give angpao?

^ Not necessary. Minsan they can shoulder their own. Or you can ask them before the wedding day if they want na doon nalang sila magpa-make up sa MUA mo, sila na rin mag-pay nung additonal cost per head.

Re: chinese wedding, I've attended one. Yes they provided the HMU, food, transpo (just because sinabay kami sa relative nya) and still gave angpao.

^^2 of my abays hindi sa hmua ko nagpaayos pero nagpunta sila sa hotel na ayos na sila. hindi ko din sinagot bayad

Sis meixin, it depends on you. In our case, we shouldered some of our entou's HMUA who stayed overnight at the hotel because I asked them to come early for pictorials. On the other hand, my other entou told me that they will have their HMUA done elsewhere and they will just come in early, and that's fine by me. I didn't want my entou reacting negatively if they don't like their HMUA because some already have their trusted HMUA
