Hello graduate brides! Question.. who paid for your ento's hair and make up? I was just wondering kung dapat ba shouldered din namin ito? Kasi di ko sya nasama sa budget

not yet a graduate but ive been a member of the ento for 2 weddings na. for make up, hindi na usually sagot ng bride yan but the bride can the middle man between those who wants to have their hair and make up done on the preps area. she can talk to a hmua about a discounted package rate for the entourage and maybe principal sponsors. say the bride can guarantee that 5 heads needs to be serviced for that day so the hmua can give it at a lower price. usually strict ang hmua dito, if she was told that a certain number of heads will be serviced, dapat masunod yung number na yun since she gave a discounted rate and she brought her staff to service those people. with this, makakamura ang ento sa hmua nila.

Thanks sis. We were thinking to get a lower rate hmua for ento's. So dapat pala confirm muna namin kung sino at ilan ang mag aavail..

^I already paid for my ento's gowns so I did not volunteer to pay their HMU. They are paying it themselves. I am getting Eds Go with 3 heads (initially) for MOB, MOH, and my niece who's a Jr. Bridesmaid. Eds also offered to do my 2 BMs make-up for 1,500/head.

I shouldered my ento and some ninangs' HMU because:
- they don't know how to do their own makeup
- it would be harder to hire someone or find a nearby salon since my wedding is out of town
- i want to ensure they look dolled up in my pictures or else panira
- to lighten the burden on them-- they already committed to be part of my ento for an OOT wedding so medyo malaking bagay na yung time and effort of going to  fittings and the wedding itself.

@stylus - i think it's upto the couple if they can shoulder the entourage's HMU.  I opted for Ed Go's B+G + 5 heads. I'm still on the lookout for an additional HMUA for 5 more heads. I'll be paying for my entourage's hmua, gowns and lodging. I feel as if it's my gift to them, as they'll be taking the time off for our special day. 2 days din yun since OOT. hehe. For my part kasi, except for 1 or 2 BM, the rest are very close people to me. Kaya hindi na ako nagdalawang isip to pay for them.

Hello sis! It's been a long time since I posted here about weddings but to answer your question, I'm the one who paid for my ento's hair and make up. The HMUA I got was someone na mahilig lang sa make-up pero she took classes yata. As in hobby nya lang mag make up so mababa lang rate nya. 

Btw, bridesmaids ko ang sumagot ng gowns nila (as their gift to us) kaya naisip ko dapat ako naman sumagot ng make up nila. In fairness to the HMUA, my bridesmaids looks good on our wedding!

i've paid for my ento's hmu. pa-thank you na yun for their participation sa wedding. saka sila na kasi nagbayad sa gown nila. depende naman sis sa couple if gusto nila ishoulder or not. if keri pa ng budget, go. pero if hindi na, pede naman iexplain sa abay yung ganung sitwasyon. and since they're your closest friends/relatives, i am sure maiintindihan naman nila yun. try mo i-ask sa hmua mo sis if makakahingi ka discount since maramihan naman ibobook mo if ever:) nahaggle ko ke nini marquez (my hmua on wedding) na 800/head na lang, team nya naghmu sa ento ko (+10 heads)

Thanks thanks mga sis! Sa ngayon di pa namin napapag usapan ni h2b kung paano na nga. Pero based sa inputs nyo.. hmm.. kami na kasi nagshoulder ng plane tickets nila. At transpo and accommodation sa 1 week stay nila dito. At dress nila. So sana wag nila masamain kung sila na lang sa hmua nila.

Me too I paid for my entourage makeup pero hiniwalay ko kasi para matapos ng maayos. Si Mariah Camaya for me plus 2 mothers then si nini marquez naman for my 9 entourage. Maybe i can suggest narin sa mga ninang if they want to have their make up done by nini since sa tagaytay din kami and i dont want to hassle them too..

We wont be shouldering their makeup since we already paid for their gowns na din. But will ask them kung san sila papamakeup para maybe i source out a makeup artist na within their budget.

i have makeup artist choices sa bulacan (4 pa nga sa kaartehan ko haha )
pero i am also considering Toni Aviles nakatrabaho din kasi sya ng stylist ko.
sana lang ma-afford namin.

hindi namin shoulder hair and make up nila. but bago namin sila kinuha inask muna namin sila kung ok lang sila gumastos for gown and make up gift na nila samin. pumayag naman sila.

@stylus- plane fares are not exactly cheap   What you could probably do is ask them if it's alright for them to pay for their own HMUA, then scout for a skilled but affordable artist.  Para hindi na nila poproblemahin na maghanap on their own, unless magaling or marunung na silang mag makeup and they're okay to do their own Best of luck sis.

Any Toni Rodriguez brides and bride to be's? I need more reviews before ako magpa book. Should I go with trial first kaso grabe 5k Ano itsura nun make up nya sa personal worried ako baka sa picture lang maganda. May nabasa kasi ako review somewhere kay Mariah Santos naman, hindi daw maganda sa personal pero sa picture daw maganda labas ng make up.

Sana may makapagbigay reviews, and suggestion na din sino specialty ang no make up/fresh look, also eyeing on Toni Aviles.
