just a tip i'd like to share regarding make-up artists, it's really a ideal to get a skilled and reputable hmua. if possible, get a professional and don't scrimp on your hmua budget.

talagang nakita ko yung difference ng pro make-up artist sa hobbyist kase i have a couple of friends na mahilig mag-make up at maganda din ang dating sa personal pero dun sa raw photos namin ng wedding di masyadong maganda mag-register sa camera while mine was natural lang at hindi uneven. sakto lang kumbaga.

Sissies what price do you consider as low-end, mid-range, and high-end for bridal hmua? I thought 20k (bride & groom + 2 heads, all airbrush, with unlimited retouch, no prenup or trial makeup) was mid-range? Tama ba ko or on the lower end of the spectrum yun?

hindi ko alam eh.. ang nalala ko foundation muna hindi ko alam ang tawag dun... after nun... airbrush na and then sa eye, blushand lipstick. dapat nga siguro malaman niya..

Airbrush ang foundation ko and blush. Eyes traditional. Ok ang output at hindi nag cake. very natural.

nakausap ko na siya mga sis.. hehe! ang bait lang niyang kausap sabi niya... may ialalagay daw nga para maiwasan yung mga line ko... tapos yung airbrush niya is foundation and blush...

yun HMUA ko si Val Villarin 850/additional head ang rate niya, pero promo ko to nakuha but I am sure pretty affordable pa din siya kahit regular rates

sis juwie hindi siya nagcacake... long lasting din... nagliline lang yung sa gilid ng ilong ko lalo na pag nagsmile... ganun.. pero sabi may gagawin daw si Val para mawala. happy preps!

Froilan Erik, Makeup by Krizia, Kzee. I tried getting in touch with Elitista more than 5 times ni walang isang reply nakuha ko..

I also inquired kay Nini kasi affordable sya pero ayaw ko ng supplier na nagddouble book (hahabol nalang daw sa second event) kasi who knows what might happen (tagaytay traffic?) diba.

I still highly recommend Ms Nini.I got her and her team nong wedding ko kaya I know how they work. The 2nd time I got them nong nag-MOH ako sa cousin ko. In fairness to her, she informs the clients if may event pa siya, saka hindi naman niya ipinipilit na i-book mo siya especially if may event siya. Kase nong ng MOH ako sa cousin ko, she informed me/us na may event siya earlier, but I still got her and her team para sa amin na entourage ng cousin ko. She told us na if that was the case kung ok sa amin na mauna team niya, pumayag kami and wala namang naging problem.

We got Ms. Nini and her team kase magaling sila at magaan katrabaho. So, nasa sa atin na mga clients yon if we really like the supplier and we believe in their capacity then go. Just make sure clear din tayo sa kanila na alam natin kung may naunang event or wala. It's our choice.

Hindi naman natin kelangan laging maging negative sa mga suppliers... Let's remember na kabuhayan ng iba yan, yong iba libangan lang, so hinay hinay magbigay ng feedback kung wala naman tayong FIRST HAND information or kung hindi naman natin sila naging actual supplier. Just my 2 cents.. Peace :-)

^sophiehotness I have nothing against Nini ha, nor her work. All i said was, i considered her but hindi ako naging comfortable booking her since she had another event on my date (knowing Tagaytay traffic in Dec, it's not entirely impossible that ma-late team nya or even sya to servicing my entourage). So i opted for one who doesnt have that complication on my day. It is definitely our choice and yes im glad she was honest abt it. I respect her work and the many brides who are happy with her, such as you. I didnt book her, so wala naman talaga akong sinabi abt her work. :p

My HMUA is Keon Delos Reyes Ponds Ambassador super galing mag make up 1,500 per head traditional as in waterproof LOL. Nagprenup kami last April 2PM to 5PM sobrang init kasi summer pero hindi nabura make up ko. You can check her FB Keon Salon. I booked her during bridal fair 16k bride airbrush plus 4 heads traditional including OOTO fee. Siya din minsan nag mamakeup kay Nadine Lustre
