Ako late nako ng time na to for booking my hotel preps for my March 2016 wedding. Nasa Tagaytay ako kahapon and puno na Hill Creek and last suite room sa Taal Vista. Mag-Sonya's Garden na nga sana ako kaso masikip naman sa rooms kung sakali diba..

Really sis? Okay din naman sa Sonya's sis, pero not sure with the space ng room. Kapag photo ops mo before going to church mo, maganda yung surroundings kaya good find din siguro.

have you checked Chateau Royale? Or super old na talaga sya sis? Next year pa wedding namin, but we're eyeing it since pinakamalapit sa Caler if hindi kami makakuha ng house sa Canyon Woods.

^Yes sis, apparently marami akong kasabay na wedding on my date so I will tell my guests to be early due to traffic.

Nastress talaga ako. haha! Nurture Village ba yun, ok din sana kaso masikip din and masyadong mabato.. anyway I got the Batangas suite na so ok nako. Problem ko nalang eh may bayad pa talaga ang photo ops around it. kakainis sila

^You can check out Royale Tagaytay Country Club, the rooms are spacious and big rooms are loft types, mura lang.

Anyone here doing a Friday wedding? Super concerned kasi Dec 16, 2016 ang date namin sa Mango Farm (wanted a weekend pero booked na sila for 17 and 18 unfortunately). What turnout should I expect given the Christmas rush and may pasok parin that day.

Ladies, what are your venue suggestions for a despedida de soltera? 30-40 peeps max lang. Puro close family and friends. Preferrably pasig-makati-bgc-mandaluyong-qc area. ☺️ Naiisip ko lang hotels e pero baka may mas mura pero maganda parin.

^Hi sis! Meron akong friend na nag despedida de soltera officemate nya, kaya lang that was a year or 2 ago. Nag accommodate daw sila, one of the rooms from Victoria Court but in Malate branch. They chose a room na may mirror wall and may pole sa gitna. hehe!

Hi ANJfinally, i was thinking more family oriented for my despedida de soltera hehe! As in strictly and traditionally a despedida de soltera, dinner send-off for the bride (me) with family and friends. The bachelorette party will be after the dinner, with my crazy friends hahaha! But thanks for that awesome idea. I was think sa ordinary hotel room na lang kami for the bachelorette party but a room sa victoria's court sounds fun nga. 😂

^hi sis! Yep yun kasi yung despedida na for the crazy girl friends. HAHA! As what I've seen in the photos of my friend, sobrang nag-enjoy sila lalo na sa pictures nila sa pole at bathtub. Lol. xD

For family, i think you can have it in a hotel nga - not necessarily sa 5 star, basta magkaron lang kayo ng privacy same nung kay Toni G. or kay Nikki G. =)

biskybear, you can rent a whole spa or nail salon. you can also have a wine and cheese night. i know someone who had her despedida at planet grapes.

Sure damnation Ours is set on a Friday and December 2016 also. There's a possibility that less people would come on your wedding since its not yet officially on holiday and it will depend on the time as well. But there's this magic of RSVP where you can know ahead of time if your invitees will come or not.

Hi damnation i think okay lang ang 12.16.16 usually nagchrichristimas shopping ang mga tao weekend diba. My sister got married 12.13.14 and if i remember right that was a sunday. Also i have a friend who got married december 30, saturday yun. Marami pa rin naman pumunta sabi nga nila pag pinapahalagahan ka talaga ng mga bisita pupunta sila sa wedding mo may it be on a weekday or on a weekend.

sis medyo casual dinner ba ang hanap mo for your despedida de soltera? you can consider restaurants in those areas. i only checked with lugang before because they have function rooms and they have a nice one in aura. or for other restaurants you can inquire if they allow a portion or the whole place to be closed for your event. i attended one in il ponticello before. and relish in valero also allows this. or if you know anyone who can sponsor you in polo club as another alternative for hotels.

Wow thank you for so many suggestions rightback!! Medyo traditional kasi family ko they want a send off dinner talaga na tipong pamamanhikan part 2 ang peg haha. So dinner and speech ekek with family and close friends. I will look into those talaga, salamat uli! ☺️

no worries biskybear! i had the exact same problem before looking for a venue that can accommodate 50 guests that can give us the privacy i needed haha. i'll probably let 2 of my ninongs speak during the despedida de soltera since i'm trying to minimize speeches during the wedding itself. hirap din when super traditional ang family, ang dami lang dapat gawin. usually chinese restaurants are good choices since they have private rooms even the ones in hotels like shang. good luck on the soltera venue hunting sis! its also a good excuse to eat out though

Hi sis iyayi.. Inquire with UST first kung ano floral arrangement nila with their package but if hindi kayo convinced ni fiance, go for upgraded styling. Make sure na if you'll upgrade, your florists would have ampke time to do their setup. Take note if there is any other wedding on that day or any mass scheduled. Minsan ok naman na basic arrangements sa church so redundant na pag upgrade espc if you guys are on a budget.

For reception venue, if within Intramuros na with cater na check out La Castellana, Ilustrado Restaurant, Patio Victoria, Casa Blanca and Villa Immaculada of Tamayo's. Try to inquire now even if 2016-2017 bride ka kasi Intramuros area is usually puno with bookings espc with weddings.

isunod mo na ang videographer, photographer, and wedding coordinator(if you want). after that, minor suppliers na lang:)

btw girls, meron na ba dito nakaexperience na naforfeit ang downpayment or reservation fee coz of some changes like, change of mind or change of date? nabook ko na kasi reception but not the church coz ayaw pa magaccept ng bookings ng preferred church ko for 2017 weddings. non negotiable ko mismo yung church and reception.  im starting to book other major suppliers din. natatakot lang ako baka pagpwede na ibook yung church, bigla hindi na pwede sa date ko:(
