And your wedding will be the start of your new chapter. It won't just be your chapter anymore, but it will be both.   I'm sure whatever you two decide, as long as you both are happy with your decisions, you'll be fine.

^Hi sis! We actually decided to have my intimate reception na lang. 60 guests, purely family na. Then we'll have our reception sa Cafe 1771. Hehe. We'll keep pa rin the photo and video pero I'm planning to transfer my DP (kung kaya) with KbyC and yung napanalunan kong gown from Joe San Antonio.

After computing, our grand total is around 200K if we go for the intimate reception! Nakasave kami ng halos 100K hehe.

Hi guys! Just want to share a super unexpected but pleasant news. We booked Angelfields early this year for our wedding in 2016 at an exorbitant price. Sa totoo lang, parang napasubo kami kasi it was around 275k. Nakakapanghinayang kasi yung presyo sobrang laki ng increase from 2015 rates. And to think na naengage naman kami earlier this year so alam nyo yung feeling na sana pala this year na lang yung wedding para nahabol namin yung old rates etc.. medyo nakakabad trip. Pero parang inisip namin na whatever, nakapag down na kami,  booked na yung church, caterer, magtipid na lang sa ibang bagay.. But just the though of paying that much just for the venue alone minus electricity, food, styling etc is super depressing!

But on to the good news.. Just this week the management of Angelfields sent me a revised confirmation letter, informing me that they have lowered their quotation for my wedding by a whopping 30%! Grabe galing ni Lord. Alam nyang ambigat sa dibdib namin ang pagbabayad ng ganun kalaking pera para sa venue lang. It really works out in the end eh, nakakatuwa.  Much thanks din to Angelfields for taking their clients into consideration. Maraming salamat at hindi lang puro negosyo ang nasa inyong isipan. Sa totoo lang, bibihira na ang nga ganitong suppliers na willing mag adjust depende sa sitwasyon at pangangailangan ng kanilang mga kliyente

Hindi pa rin biro ang kulang 200k, pero malaking bagay na yung diskwentong binigay nila. Malayo na ang mararating nun. Kaya to Angelfields, thank you very very much, pagpalaun pa sana ang negosyo ninyo, at sa mga ikakasal ding gaya ko, you might want to reconsider Angelfields kasi medyo kaya na uli sya. 😉

Natutuwa ako sa mga post dito.
But at the same time, medyo nastress ako.
Wala pa kasi ako nasimulan.
More on searches pa lang sa suppliers at hingi ng quotation.

Budget kasi namin is 150k pero upon costing lalagpas kami.
Torn between getting an All In Wedding Package or individual suppliers.

May maissuggest ba kayo na wedding venue within QC na less 15k?

Stress ako sa church+venue hunting eh.
Di ko naman ma book yung nakausap kong catering, photo, video at lights and sounds kung wala pa kong church+venue.

I'm looking at clubhouses sa Greenhills, Valle Verde, Acropolis. I want kasi ng tahimik na church, Mt. Carmel sana kaso wala naman murang venue, grabe Oasis ang mahal! Santuario De San Jose gusto ko din kaya ayun I'm looking at clubhouses sa area. Kaso halos lahat sila need ng sponsorhsip. So di ko alam ano gagawin ko, overseas pa kame ni h2b.

sis hermione28, if you really want sa mt. carmel, ang next venue na pinakamalapit sa kanya is sampaguita gardens. ilang blocks away lang din ang distance nya. next kase na alam ko is light of love na.

Sis hermione28 have you checked Nuestra Senora de Gracia church sa Guadalupe? Tahimik dun and maganda sya though no idea how much.

^As far as I know, 15k ata sa Nuestra Senora. Pero walang aircon. It's one of our choices din kung sa Manila kami ikakasal

sis hermione28 tama si sis chilli practical choice ang christ the kind and the hall right beside it. nice and new yung hall and i think wala naman restrictions with the caterer. my friend had her wedding and reception there last may and if i remember right that your budget is around 300k, papasok yung sa budget mo. and nice and quiet din yung area.

for nuestra senora de gracia, i think they have a garden also where you can have your reception. ill find out pa in nov during another friend's wedding if ok nga.

light of love might also be an option if you really want mt carmel. they have different packages with caterers you can choose from though madami lang corkage if you dont get their accredited suppliers.

^Wow bagong renovate ba yung parish hall ng Christ the King? If that is the case then maganda nga na venue yun. The place is very peaceful, and it has lots of parking! Then your guests will just walk from the church to the function hall. Im so sure walang restrictions sa caterer yun, and so you can bring any food you want, wala pa corkage yun. Baka cheaper pa yun than Valle Vede 6 Clubhouse.

Or sa Sta. Rita de Cascia Parish in Philam Homes in West Ave. Solemn ng place. Naka aircon ang church. Sobrang lamig minsan kasi bago lahat ng units ng aircon kaya minsan nire-request na bawasan pag mass on Sundays. Hehe. But then we're not wearing suits and gowns like sa weddings, na importante hindi mainit kasi panira ng makeup. Haha. They have a newly renovated social hall, di pa nag one month. Ganda! Kaso I heard dami na nagpapa-book kasi bawas hassle nga naman esp now with the traffic. Di na mahirapan mag transfer ang guests kasi katabi lang ng church. I think 25k-35k ang price ng social hall nila. Call to verify. But medyo strict sila in the sense na they want to meet the caterer prior the event para mag agree sa guidelines, which is a good thing para alam na ng caterer ang mga bawal gawin like dragging tables instead of carrying them. Para ma maintain naman kagandahan ng tiles. Around 300 ata ang capacity ng hall nila. Try giving them a call and look for the cute chinito guy, Sir Glenn. Hahaha. Joke lang. And mabait siya.

Hermione, you can also check out Christ the King and The Mango Farm. Your wedding will most likely fall on a weekday diba? They have discounted rates for weekday events. Hindi nga lang high ceiling, but the place is nice and exclusive

sis chilli not sure if newly renovated nga but it looks new to me. hehe but yes it is true that the area is peaceful with lots of parking.

hermione28 not sure how high you want your ceiling but it looks like a standard clubhouse/venue inside. plus there's a bridge linking the church and venue so its very convenient for your guests. and you have several options pa for hotels (for preps) in ortigas or eastwood.

Hey sissies does anybody know pala if there is any upcoming Bridal Fair/Expo scheduled this December until 1st week of January? I plan to attend kasi since I'll be in Manila around that time. I was supposed to go to Getting Married Bridal Fair on Jan17 but unfortunately my flight was scheduled at that time na. Anyway I want to be more productive while in Manila and book other suppliers that we haven't booked yet. Info will be really helpful. Thanks

Sis hermione28, my first wedding was at Christ the King and reception was at the parish hall. Maganda yung hall kasi spacious pero bare lang sya so need pagandahin ng stylist.

Yung ceiling, di siya considered na high tulad ng Oasis, LOL pero pwede naman lagyan ng drapes.

^Great to hear, biskybear! Agree, super expensive din for us Angelfields but we also splurged on it, my fiance believing it would be worth it. The management has been quite helpful naman to us so far. Glad to have found another Angelfields bride here!
