Wow very simple pero cute. Dream ko yung ganun na wedding kaso sa sobra naming friendly ni h2b halos kalahati yata ng subdivision namin invited since we were childhood friends since 4 kaya lahat ng tao surrounding us expect nila na pupunta kaya an intimate wedding is far from possible

Hahaha! Super friendly din yung friend kong si KC (the bride). Kaya it was so difficult for her to cut down the number of guests. I think more or less 100 lang 'yon. The only ones from the office na invited were the big bosses, 'yung friends nila ng husband niya for years na (same office din si hubby), and kaming mga kasama niya sa marketing. And then 'yung relatives nila, the closest ones lang and those na merong connection sa relationship nila (kasi they were a couple for 11 years before sila kinasal).

Anyway, I wish you good luck! Kayang-kaya naman ang DIY wedding, eh. Takes some work and talagang kailangan mo mag-spend ng time for the preparations. But, I am sure it will be worth it. Bihira na kasi ang mga "personalized" weddings ngayon kasi coursed through planners na mostly. A DIY one will definitely be personal!

i love your DIYs especially the bouts and the flower girl baskets and what a pretty color - very miss universe (it's nice to think that pia might have seen your wedding color and thought that shade of blue will be perfect as her gown - haha!)!

Question  mga sis -  I've noticed that most Filipino invites has the groom's name first.  All the templates that I've downloaded has the girl's name first.  When I checked naman, the reason for this was because
a) the girl's family will be the one shouldering the wedding cost ( as is tradition in western countries)
b) it is the girl who is changing her name to the guy
c)  ladies first -  for those who are equally sharing the bill ( which is our case)

I don't want to ruffle anyone's feathers but when I asked my hubby he said it doesn't matter naman daw. It's just that pag pinagpalit ko yung order ng names namin, magiiba yung balance nung invite. Mas mahaba kasi pangalan ko sa kanya. Kaya now naguguluhan ako

^ hi sis missus o, just follow what you think looks great! i don't think people will mind the order of your names on the invitation - they'll just be happy you guys are getting married and you're inviting them

Hi, sis! My husband and I had a simple civil wedding, but we still sent our invites. 'Yung sa amin, it was a mutual decision na una 'yung name ko. I've also attended weddings na bride's name ang nauna. Then again, it really depends on you (and your H2B). If you're comfortable with the idea na ladies first, go for it! But, if worried ka (kasi nga mahaba 'yung name mo, as you said), go for the more common practice na una 'yung name ng groom. I think naman what's important is that you both like what you come up with, kasi isa 'yan sa mga magpapaganda ng experience ninyo.

I got a little intrigued sa pinost mo na reasons why nauuna minsan yung name ng bride. So, I did a little research myself and found two sources that you might want to check out. I know these are US (or UK)-based sites, pero they can still provide some insights para sa iyo. Check these out, sis...and good luck sa big day mo!

Hello! Happy to say that we're done with our wedding. And I finally found the time to upload pics of some of our DIY items. I'm not a creative person but after seeing some posts here I got inspired to DIY some stuff for our wedding. It was pretty challenging esp. since I didn't start early. Nevertheless, I was happy with the outputs. Good luck to all the DIY brides here!
