thanks sisses Missus O & tiffany24. Sis tiffany24, yung friend ko yung nagpaint nung design. Then, we scanned it tapos si fiance slightly tweaked the colors and took care dun sa paglayout ng text.

^  Ahhh so that's how you transfer watercolour paint design. Matagal ko ng iniisip how it's done. My invites are also watercolour paint na flowers, pero I downloaded it and  edited via MS Word. Yung entourage portion and additional info part, watercolour flowers din pero that one I did one pic at a time. hehe. Yung part na yun sigurado ako na ako lang meron ganun design kasi ginawa ko sya using MS Word din. Yung mga watercolour art I just downloaded off the internet and the fonts I used as well.

I don't know how to edit via adobe illustrator nor via photoshop. Kaya MS Word lang kaya ko hehe.

Done na with the wedding!! Yay!! sharing my SDE. You will see my DIYs - my own makeup did traditional plus airbrush on myself, arrhae holder, bible holder, ring holder, candles, boutonnieres, garter... isipin ko pa mga ginawa ko hehe  yung banner ko I have it done by a friend who is good in calligraphy. Happy preps to all.

Hi girls i would like to ask kung ilang months before the big day kayo nagstart ng DIYs nyo?

^Hi sis, it depends, what DIYs are you doing? My wedding is in 6 months. So far what I've done are my Save the dates which I've sent already.  Some parts of the  invites (first page,RSVP, still on the map area [this is my second draft since I changed the background] entourage part just needs to be typed but background layout is done), wine bottles, will be starting on my souvenirs this week which are tote bags. I will be making them from scratch. I have to say though that I'm based overseas and I need to finish most of my DIYs before February ends as I plan to send it home by March or end of february. Para it will be in the Philippines by end of april or (God forbid) end of May. I will also be doing some flower poms and some backgound stuff but I can do that later on na. Best of luck sis.

sis lueeeesa, same with sis 120515, I started my DIY over a period of 1 year. mas okay na kasi na matapos ko ng maaga kesa magahol ako sa oras.

sis Missus O, you can customize your watercolored designs if photoshop/illustrator gagamitin mo.   problema ko rin before kung paano ko ililipat yun mga watercolored flowers na ginawa ko kasi wala kaming scanner. so what I did was I took a photo of the icons one by one, adjusted the colors in cymera (phone application) then transferred it in photoshop. Doon ko na crinop. Then, para maging mas maayos yun invitation layout, I self-studied the basics of illustrator.

^ thanks mga sis 7 months to go before the big day. List of my diys : backdrop, table centerpiece, invitations, guestbook, wedding cake, entourage and bridal bouquet.

Hi, lueeeesa! So sorry sa late reply ko. Haven't asked permission from my friend yet if papayag ba siyang gamitin ko and i-post dito yung ibang photos niya. She's been on bedrest kasi the past weeks kasi super delicate yung pregnancy niya. And when she got back to the office last week, busy masyado sa year end butingtings. Ayun, na-stress and she was taken to the hospital again kasi nag-bleeding. Buti nalang she and the baby are okay. Kakahiya naman siguro if I ask her for photos at this time.

Anyway, describe ko nalang. Yung church kasi, nasa loob ng subdivision. Very small and open siya. So, ang ginawa niya, since pababa yung aisle (stone stairs), nilagyan niya ng arch na may parang flowing white cloth. Doon yung entrance ng entourage and the bride. May white balloons and flowers all over. And pompoms na puti. Yun lang sa church; very simple.

Sa reception, she placed lang decorated wine bottles sa tables as centerpiece. White din yung decors ng bottles, kasi nga Bohemian white ang theme & motif niya. White pompoms ulit ang nilagay as main decorations sa reception area (clubhouse ballroom). May flowers din sa tables ng principal sponsors. Simple lang talaga.

Since coffee drinkers sila na couple, their giveaways were coffee beans in small bottles & coffee bags for the principal sponsors.

The groom wore all white na suit, pero naka-men's sandals. My friend's gown as a white off-shoulder lacy piece. As previously mentioned, she wore Havaianas (or flip flops - not sure if it was Havs).

She bought most of her materials sa isang Divisoria-like place dito sa amin. Mga one month din nila ginawa yung mga decor kasi Saturdays lang free time nila.

Wow very simple pero cute. Dream ko yung ganun na wedding kaso sa sobra naming friendly ni h2b halos kalahati yata ng subdivision namin invited since we were childhood friends since 4 kaya lahat ng tao surrounding us expect nila na pupunta kaya an intimate wedding is far from possible
