^^Wala nang hiya hiya nun, all the girls even in their heels really jumped for it! Usually sa mga ganyan you'd see nahihiya pa yung mga girls to catch pagkatoss. Doon wala haha all out.

Though mabigat sa bulsa, 10k agad just for that wala pa games. But i guess uso these days yung nice prizes. Another wedding I went to gave an iPad. Too bad i didnt budget that much for mine lol. And i cant use that idea for my wedding anyway because that same couple will be guests at our wedding. :)
Sana makaisip ako ng nice idea din else i might remove the bouquet and garter toss as an activity altogether.

sis baka pati yung mga hindi qualified gusto rin sumali if ganun. i should probably survey my single friends up to how much sila willing to play for. baka 100 peso bills lang kaya namin. lol same here, i didn't set a budget for nice prizes.

^Hehe di naman, the crowd invited isn't ganon naman. Saka mga 900 guests yun hehe but everyone was well-behaved naman and the couple pre-selected who would participate in the toss. They used mixed bills, from P50-200 ata basta napuno yung bouquet.

I forgot to mention, the worst toss I've seen was a recent wedding where the bride tossed her floral bouquet, it hit the ceiling of the ballroom and fell straight down to the floor (midway where she was and where the girls waiting to catch it were). Slow-mo pa sa video nila yung moment, ang nakakahiya was all the girls just looked at it hit the ceiling and then the floor, and didnt even come close to catch it kahit nakita nila pahulog na! Haha this is what i want to avoid kaya i need to think of a gimmick!

sparklingjewel, panalo the cash bouquet lol. I've seen pictures of one before but I've never been to a wedding that did it in real life. We're skipping the bouquet/garter; we've never been fans and there'll barely be any single people at the wedding anyway :)

for me naman sis worst garter toss i've seen was tiningnan lang ng guys yung garter. medyo may edad na kasi yung girl na nakakuha ng bouquet. di talaga gentleman e hahaha. na guilty yung best man though and picked it up after a few seconds of silence.

^Yikes that is just as bad sis haha ayoko mapahiya as a couple kung walang may gusto :))
Sevenstars, agree, if wala naman matutuwa i'd rather not do it din! Hehe. I'm not really into the traditional kind of wedding anyway so no biggie if we skip. Lately im seeing more weddings na wala narin cake cutting and such.

We didn't have bouquet/garter portion in our wedding. Initially, I thought of having a game where the male and female who will lose will be the ones we will pair for the bouquet/garter ceremony. But later, I decided against it because when we were discussing it here in the office, lahat ayaw! Hehe.

Sis caleeice, we've omitted bouquet and garter game too at the reception. That's the first thing DTS noticed when we submitted the initial programme to her. Naka highlight na ang dalawang items na yon ng RED. meaning we're not going to do it. (Including the kissing game pala) Hubby was the one who decided though. :) as I previously discussed with you, super conservative nga ng family nya kaya ganon. And married na rin kasi mostly our guests. So I just did na lang the traditional bouquet tossing at the church door sa recessional which is more sensible.  yon naman ginagawa during the olden times. Nilagyan nalang kasi ng twist nowadays para hindi boring but still si parin kinakagat ng iba. (I also asked the one and only single lady sa entourage to catch the bouquet. :)

so far wala halos may gusto ng singles game regardless if ano pang pakulo yung naiisip. i don't like yung mga couples naman na magbibigay ng advise since im trying to minimize the speeches for the whole reception. so i guess i'll stick with the quiz na lang talaga. 30 questions din yun :)

Precisely, sis rightback.

Thanks!

^I used to have an AE from Sodexo, tapos they just deliver the GCs to me in bulk. Pero malaki-laking amount yun kaya siguro ganun, it was six figures. Sadly nawala ko na contact nya. Before i think meron din nabibili sa SM payment centers.

sis rightback same tayo ng experience. my then bf now my fiance, attended our friend's wedding. sa gartos toss walang sumalo nung una,as in tinitigan lang nila until bumagsak sa sahig yung garter. then 2nd time ihagis ulit, si bf ko parang nahiya pinulot na nya kasi sya pinakamalapit sa binagsakan ng garter. ang nakakatawa pa dun, sa bouquet ako ako dapat yung makakasalo pero tumagilid ako kasi parang tatama sa muka ko yung bouquet,so yung nasa likod ko nakakuha (friend din namin).

Sis if you have this fear na baka walang sumalo ng garter or bouquet, you can do what i did, i skipped the singles game, no garter toss and bouquet games at the reception. I only did a traditional bouquet toss outside church after recessional. But since i only have one single lady sa bridesmaids, kinausap na namin na sya sumalo at kinausap namin mga girls na magtipon sa labas which they followed naman. That's for picture taking lang only anyway.

Ang prize namin 2 Php1500 The SPA GC. :)
