hi! just got back from my coron escapade last night. we were there from march 15 - 18, 2016

stayed at Sea Coral Lodge. got their triple room + extra bed for 4pax for only 1800 w/o breakfast. if with breakfast addt'l 150/pax per day. if you won't avail of their breakfast, ok lang din since they have water dispenser at the kitchen. just bring instant cup noodles and coffee if budgeted ang trip.

the place is in the middle of everything, 2 blocks away from coron souvenir shop, walking distance to travel and tours agencies and just a few steps away from restos (balinsasayaw, sizzling crab, bistro coron, centro coron, big mamas, etc). atm (bpi) is just a trike away (10/pax). mababait ang employees nila and they clean the rooms daily. they provide towels, soap, toiletries. they have a few rooms lang so they get filled up fast.

sa kanila na rin kami nagpahanap ng trike for our mt tapyas and maquinit hotsprings. standard rate is 300 for 2pax then addt'l 50 per addt'l pax. since 4 kami, 400 ang rent namin sa trike, balikan na yun. hihintayin ka ng driver sa mt tapyas and maquinit and then ihahatid ka pabalik. in our case, we asked the frontdesk to indicate na magpapadaan kami sa coron harvest (tindahan ng casoy) and ok naman daw. no addtl charge.

mt tapyas has no entrance fee, 721 steps pataas to reach the cross. nice ng view dito, wait for the sunset to take amazing pics. pagbaba namin ng mt tapyas, diretso na kami sa maquinit hotsprings. dinaan na rin niya kami sa coron harvest to buy casuy then travel ulit to maquinit. sa maquinit, entrance is 200/pax. the hotsprings is really hot. ha!ha! very relaxing ang place and malinis. nakakawala ng stress. stayed here until 8pm then left. nagpahatid na lang kami kay kuya sa LOLO NONOYS instead of sa hotel kasi baka hindi na namin abutan bukas yun mga restos if maliligo pa kami tsaka kakain. after dinner, nagtrike ulit kami pabalik ng hotel, 10pesos per person lang naman.

by the way, if magdinner kayo sa LOLO NONOYS, order niyo yun chili crab nila. sulit yun bayad na 400. sobrang ok ng timpla, napaextra rice kami tuloy. pork sisig is ok din. price is not that expensive. sulit siya.

for the tour agency, we chose NICE IN PARADISE TRAVEL AND TOURS. availed their "HIGHLIGHTS" tour on our 2nd day for 1500/pax. spots to visit are kayangan lake, siete pecados, banol beach (for lunch), barracude lake, twin lagoon, skeleton wreck. on the 3rd day naman, we took the island escapade tour (malcapuya, bulog dos, banana island) for 1200/pax. very good ang review ko sa kanila. their guides are well mannered, polite and i-aassist ka ng maayos. di ka nila mamadaliin sa spots and they really take care of their guests well. ang pagkain is di rin tinipid, for lunch we had fish, liempo, crabs, ensaladang talong and fruits. di namin maubos sa sobrang dami. they provide BOTH softdrinks and water per person. they also give bread/snacks and softdrinks for merienda. for the price we paid, sulit na sulit. sa ibang tours kasi na nabasa ko, usually tubig lang ang inumin and then no snacks. pero with NICE IN PARADISE, included yun sa service nila. if babalik ako ng coron, sila pa rin ang pipiliin kong tour agency. no regrets talaga. ^^

^ sis If I may,
 you can arrange it with your hotel. then pag arrive nyo sa airport, nakaabang na sa arrival yung mga drivers ng van.
look for the signage na lang for your hotel.
Or pwede din ata upon arrival tsaka kayo hanap sa airport. ang daming vans dun sa airport, I'm sure there are vans for those without hotel arrangements.

we were there last jan.19-22. we stayed at Islands View Inn. nag-avail kami ng all in package nila. Php 5,600.00 per pax. kasama na dyan accomodation for 4D3N, daily breakfast, city and island tours.
room is ok, basic  lang. malinis naman. location ng hotel ok din, nasa town siya so malapit sa mga kainan and public market.
sad nga lang kasi nagkasakit ako on the second day, kaya di kami nakasama sa tour ng hubby ko. but good thing nagrefund naman sila. staff was very hospitable nga pala.
breakfast was ok, kaso hindi sila nagpapapili ng menu. kung ano ihain nila sayo,yun na yun. mga silog meals. daeng,hotdog,tocino with egg and sinangag rice. disadvantage siya sa mga picky eaters kasi nga walang other choice sa menu. if you have preference or allergy sa food, i think you should tell them beforehand para maprepare nila.

i would definitely go back to coron kasi di ko masyado na-enjoy nung una dahil nagkasakit ako. and the people are very nice there.

Sis SARAHnghae, mura na yung all in package nyo.. lumalabas 2,800 per pax? Inclusions nun accommodation, city and island tours? Ano-ano yung city and island tour? Ang mura kasi talaga compared sa mga iniinquire ko na packages kaya nagulat ako..😊

just got back from 5 days trip and sobrang sulit . Ang ganda ng underwater ng Coron daming fish and creepy yung mga sunken ship. Ang hirap lang nung sa Twin Lagoon yung pag balik ka na, dapat may additional step yung hagdan kasi ang taas nya , kung walang magtutulak sayo pataas di ka basta makakaakyat unless gusto mong sumisid palabas. Sarap ng food sa Carl's BBQ for me eto dapat ang number 1 na restaurant sa Coron ang bait din ng crew. Napamahal kami sa Cashew nuts mismo dun sa coron Harvest factory 100 sa kanila samantalang dun sa tabi ng hotel namin may mga tindera ng cashew P50 pesos lang sa kanila . Yung ultimate coron tour sa Nice tours P1.8K sya pero sa ibang agency P1.5K pa rin .Nag taas daw kasi ng singil ang Kayangan . Sabi din ng mga guides yung Malcapuya isasara na sya sa public kasi nabili na sya ng SM ni Henry Sy.  mga islands sa palawan pinag bebenta na

di ko pa napuntahan yung malcapuya island. nung nag-coron kasi kami malakas daw alon kaya hindi sila nagpatour dun. sana pag bumalik kami open pa din sya sa public. haist.

Naku sana mapuntahan ko muna yung Malcapuya bago isara.. sayang naman bakit nila binebenta ang islands..

malcapuya is so beautiful! at walang masyadong tao, kaya sayong-sayo yung beach. napaka fine ng sand.

dapat yung last Tour namin, Malcapuya, Bulog Dos and Banana Island kaso sabi nila mas maganda daw yung Pas Island. True enough. Sobrang Ganda. Buhay na buhay yung dagat kasi kahit mababaw may makikita ka na maliliit na isda, parang dulong ba yun? basta maliliit. tapos madaming sobrang colorful na isda.

Sabi nila Malcapuya is good but Pas is better.

Same owner sila, mas bago yung Pas.

Left my Heart in Coron. Cant wait to go back.

Hi sisses, I just need some help. Which of these tours should I join? Should I go to both Coron Island Joiner and
Malcapuya Joiner? Or either of the 2 and the Coron Town Joiner? Di kasi kakayanin ng sched ko to do all 3? Also, I'm staying
sa Balaibinda, any feedbacks?

^If I were you, mas okay yung Coron Island Joiner + Malcapuya Joiner para talagang makita mo lahat ng water and island attractions.

Parang di worth it yung Coron Town kasi you can easily do that by renting a tricycle after the boat tours. Halimbawa [textspeak!] hot spring, it's very easy to hail a tricycle and ask them to take you. Maganda yun sa gabi, after a day of island hopping.

The other attractions are also very close to each other. Tricycle ka na lang. Coron town is very small

true. highlight lang naman ng town tour is mt.tapyas and hot spring. you can rent a tricycle for around 300php to go there.

Btw, do I really need to bring an aqua shoes? wala kasi ako mahanap na size ko, puro out of stock.

^in my experience, nakatulong yung aqua shoes lalo na sa mga may involved na konting hike, like kayangan and barracuda lake. kasi you have to climb a small hill to access these attractions. may makeshift steps naman, though tricky din medyo madulas. suot ko din yung aqua shoes sa mabababaw na coral gardens, siete pecados, etc. takot kasi ako sa sea urchin  pero merong mga foreigner na hardcore divers (tipong mga super fit na sobrang gagaling lumangoy) nakita ko naka-paa or naka flipflops lang.
