^Sis here's my suggestion based on my recent trip to Coron:

Day 1:
- Town tour (Cashew, souvenirs, San Agustin church)
- Around 4:30pm, head to Mt. Tapyas. Tapos wait for the sunset while you're at the peak. The whole trek pataas and pababa took us about 1.5 hours, kasama na picture taking duon. You can just hail a tricycle for P15 per person or ikontrata nyo na yung tricycle na ihatid kayo sa Maquinit Hot Spring after.
- After sunset at Mt. Tapyas, head to Maquinit Hot Spring (going rate ng arkila ng trike dito is P300 papunta, papauwi na yan kasama ang paghihintay, but we gave P500 kasi matagal kami hinintay ng driver sa Tapyas). Entrance fee to Maquinit is P200 per person. May discount for students, seniors and pwd.

Day 2
I highly suggest you to join the tours of JY Travel & Tours and ask to have Loy as tour guide (they have fb page)

Ultimate Tour by JY Travel 8:30-5:30pm - P1,500 per person inclusive of meals and all entrance fees and hatid sundo sa hotel
-Twin Lagoon
-CYC Beach
-CYC Coral Garden
-Sunset Beach (where we had lunch)
-Skeleton Wreck
-Kayangan Lake
-Siete Pecados

Yan yung mga must na destinations. Don't worry kung hindi kayo marunong lumangoy. May life vest naman and super assist si tour guide. Kahit mga senior nagenjoy sa tour at sa pagsnorkel. Si tour guide may dalang floater so kung natatakot kayo magsnorkel on your own, hihilahin na lang kayo ni tour guide while you're floating. Spoiled diba? Lol

Day 3
Islands escapade package by JY Travel - P1,200 per person inclusive of meals and all entrance fees and hatid sundo sa hotel
 
Bulog Dos Island - where two seasons and waling waling are pero sa public area lang yung pwede puntahan
Banana Island - where we had lunch, sobrang chill lang dito. Pwede magsnorkel, pwede magduyan. Sabi nga ng tour guide, you can choose to snore or to snorkel
Malcapuya Island - they call this little boracay because of the quality of sand. Although i don't like it when beaches are always being compared to Boracay kasi may sariling charm si Malcapuya

Hindi nakakapagod yung tour na to. Sobrang chill lang, beach bum kung beach bum.

Regarding accommodation, check Coron Bluewave Hotel at agoda sis. Highly recommended ko sya.

PS: Don't forget your aqua shoes and snorkel mask. May for rent duon but better if you have your own.

Thank you so much for the wonderful suggestions sis leihin! 😊 Sis ask ko na rin, ok naman ba pag nasa water na? Parang ang dami ko kasi nababasa na may mga sting ray, barracuda ba yun, shark ata though im not sure pala hahaha.. sea urchins and other sea creatures na nakakatakot that could cause harm.. meron ba talaga at delikado ba? Medyo dun ako natakot eh.. hehe..

^May certain destinations na kailangan ng extra ingat kasi madami sea urchins like sa CYC Coral Garden. Yung shallow area nya sobrang daming sea urchins talaga at ang hahaba nung pangtusok (i don't know what it's called haha). Yung tour guides very cautious naman about this, continuous yung paalala sa guests na magingat. One thing I also like about JY is hindi nila pinapayagan yung guests na umalis sa boat na walang suot na aqua shoes or footwear para safe. Sa CYC Coral Garden, ang ginawa namin dun, when we went down sa shallow area (mga waist deep), float lang muna talaga habang hinihila ni tour guide hanggang umabot kami sa malalim na area, bawal sumipa sa shallow area kasi possible na tumama sa sea urchin and sa rocks. Pero yung ibang destinations, hindi naman as risky as CYC coral garden kasi malalim like yung sa twin lagoon, kayangan lake, skeleton wreck. Anyway, baka natakot kita about cyc coral garden haha, wag mo imiss pagsnorkel dun, ang ganda ng corals dun lalo na sa malalim na part. Overall, hindi ko naman naramdaman na nanganib ang buhay ko haha.

Ahh okay sis.. good to hear na hindi naman nanganib buhay mo.. 😊 sana kami rin.. hehe.. Dun sa CYC, bakit need pa hilahin ni tour guide habang nakafloat? Di ba pwedeng sa malalim na lang bumaba?.. kasi kahit floating minsan natatakot ako.. baka magpanic lang.. hahaha.. naisip ko tuloy parang hindi yata para sakin ang coron haha.. pero excited pa rin naman ako.. natetense lang ako sa thought na hindi ako marunong lumangoy so baka hindi ko maiwasan yung mga dapat iwasan na creatures haha..

Pano pala magregister sa JY? Pag andun na saka na lang reg? Closed group yung nasa FB pero nag join na ko. Aside from aqua shoes and snorkeling mask, may need pa ba or required na swimming attire? Para di siguro makagat kagat ng kung ano ano haha..

Coron is beautiful and there are so many places to see/visit.  I am just appalled at the lack of clean toilets - from the airport to the island stops to the restaurants.  I've been to the rural areas near the Mekong River in Vietnam and the toilets there are spartan but clean.  Sayang because Mekong has nothing compared to Kayangan Lake or any of the lagoons in Coron.  Nakaka-discourage tuloy to return.  The only option is to go via the luxurious route (Two Seasons, etc) which is probably why the Phil. is still behind Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia when it comes to tourism. 

And I have not even started talking about the dismal situation of toilets in the airport.

Anyway, the best meal we had was at Lobster King.  Sarapppp the lobsters and lapu-lapu!

Stayed at Coron Westown Resort - the rooms are spacious and clean, staff are friendly and maasikaso, reasonable naman ang rates.

Our island-hopping tour was by Calamian Islands Travel and Tours, arranged by the hotel.  Our tour guide, Mang Lando, was very knowledgeable and nice.

^^ Not sure sis bakit sa shallow part nagpark yung boat, maybe may certain areas lang kung saan sila pwede magdock. Ako sis classmate ko yung senior citizen na kasama namin sa tour haha. Sa kayangan lake hindi ako makatalon talon, si lola pa yung nageencourage sa akin na kaya ko.

Wala naman required sa swimming attire, very important lang talaga yung aqua shoes. Sa island escapade tour, nag two-piece swimsuit ako tapos I wear swimming shorts kapag nagsnorkel pero sa Ultimate Tour nagrashguard na ako kasi nasunburn ako ng bongga haha.

back reading this thread since I booked 3 days 2 nights to Coron next year,,first ever solo trip!

mga sis, puwede bang sumama nalang ako sa mga group tours para makatipid?
ano ano mga recommended budget friendly inn's/hotels you guys could recommend for a solo traveler?
I want to make this trip as budget friendly as possible..

mga sis how much ang rental ng aqua shoes and mask?

ang alam ko lang is yung snorkeling mask and tube. i was told it costs P150 per day. kaya bumili na lang ako since balak namin 4 days dun. was able to find a set sa toby's for P700+. at least ako lang magsusuot hahaha!

my friend who is coming with us was able to buy cheap aqua shoes at sm daw for P300. titingin nga rin ako. parang mas mura na to buy, especially if gagamitin naman ulit.

madaming joining tours dun na but it starts early, around 7am ang sundo sa hotel then back in town by 6PM
if 3D2N ka, malamang 1 day lang pwede ka magjoin ng tour considering your flight on 1st and 3rd day.

^ yung arrival ko sis is 7:30am hehe mukang hindi ako makakasabay sa first day ko? unless hanap siguro ako ng tour na 8am start. then return flight ko to manila is 12:20pm

^Kaya pa yan sis, basta wag madelay flight mo. Sinusundo kami sa hotel around 8:30am, I think 8;45 pa nga once then the boat leaves the port past 9am na.

Told my mom about my trip and she said Im absolutely crazy for planning to go there on my own haha.. Ang dami na kagad scenarios na naisip.. I know she is just being a mom and showing concern pero bigla ako kinabahan tuloy ng slight :p

Already found a few budget friendly places to check-in. I guess P500/night for a fan room is as cheap as you can get na eh noh?

I will be staying at Mommitas Lodge Php700 aircon room for 2.
Not bad na since most of the time naman eh nasa tour kami. Super Excited!

^thanks sis at namention mo the place where you guys will stay..kaso I did not see the P700/night na aircon..what I saw was the P600/night but no private toilet.

^ Only in Kayangan Lake.  Some boats have a makeshift toilet though.
