Hello!

I'll be in Coron this coming Thursday until Monday.  Thanks to all those who have shared their experiences here.  Helped me a lot in planning.

Hello everyone,

I need help with our itinerary please. Flight namin is Oct 3-6. Bale arrival is 10:40AM and departure is 4:20PM. I'm thinking of below iti:

Oct 3 - city tour
Oct 4 - Coron loop tour
Oct 5 - Island hopping tour (not yet sure which one to get)
Oct 6 - Calauit safari (not sure kung doable to? can anyone advise?)

Tentative iti pa lang naman yan, I'm still weighing which would be the best iti for us. I'd appreciate it if anyone has other suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Btw, 3 girls kami. Me, mom and cousin. Me and mom has been to coron na so second time na namin to while si cousin is first timer.

Mga sis have you heard or seen the news about one tourist who died sa Coron? Napoison due to stonefish. I highly recommend mga pupunta sa Coron na magsuot ng water shoes kapag nagsnorkle or kung ano man.

spinnn, nabasa ko nga yan. kawawa naman yung namatay. ang bata pa. natakot tuloy ako magpunta ng coron, yun pa naman ang next destination namin ni hubby. ingat na lang tayo mga girltalkers.

^Kaya nga sis. Ingat na lang din. Some of the boatmen na natry namin last time, paulit ulit nagreremind regarding jellyfish, giant clams and corals. I cannot remember anything about stonefishes. Lesson learned na dapat yan sa Tourism natin. Sayang ganda ng Coron and other destinations if hindi natin maalagan tourists natin.

Never heard of the stone fishes also. Pero ang natatandaan ko sa coron, ang lalaki ng mga isda ha. Compared sa bohol na cute lang. Hehe. May mga itim pa. Tapos when you will feed them ng bread unahan talaga sila palapit sayo. Then nagtatalunan. Yung friend ko kinagat pa sa hita. Nagdugo sya. Kaya natakot na kami mag snorkel sa isang area na yun. Hehe

yes, sis hand carry namin last week yung snorkel, mask, and fins. Wala naman humarang whatsoever kahit na nakanet na bag lang at kitang kita.


Miss ko na ang Coron. It's been years, parang wala pang Calauit Safari noon. hehe


Nakita ko yung post nung relative nung namatay, sea urchin daw yung nakatusok talaga.

Safe and enjoyable ba ang Coron sa 3 year old kid? Gusto ko makapunta kami ng kid ko sa Calauit Safari. If ever should I allot 1 whole day sa Calauit Safari? Thanks sissies

I went to Coron with friends 2 years ago. Here's our itinerary:

Day 1 - Arrival at Busuanga Airport. Inubos lang namin yung morning para magbaba ng gamit sa tutuluyan namin. In the afternoon to evening, we had the: Town Tour, Maquinit Hot Springs and Mt. Tapyas.

Day 2 - Coron Island Tour, Kayangan Lake, Banol Lake, Siete Picados

Day 3 - Malcapuya Island, Banana Island

Day 4 - Calauit Island, Black Island, Coral Garden and Shipwreck

Day 5 - Travel back to Manila.

finally been to coron a week ago, stayed 5 days. Sa funny lion kami. it is the best hotel! went to westown and other hotels, mas maganda talaga dun sa funny lion. warm  ng water s pool kahit umulan. breakfast was huge. We opted for private boat 2 kids 2 adults kami para hawak namin oras, we went to skeleton wreck this is our fave, sobra dami fish. went to kayangan lake which was nice, nakakapagod lang talaga yung steps, banol beach has soft powdery sand, di namin nagustuhan barracuda lake, nakakita yung anak ko ng real barracuda.  maquinit hot spring, water is really hot. hotter laguna's. Tip: you will really need aqua shoes.
