ours will be on December 20.

factors na we considered:

hindi mainit. may chance pa din umulan but at least di bagyuhin.

may mga xmas bonus and all, so di ganun kabigat bumili ng damit.

it's a Sunday, so less traffic.

my parents and best friend (MOH) live abroad, so kung uuwi sila before xmas, mas ma-maximize yung vacation :)

Few days lang ang pagitan ng birthday namin ni Hubby then monthsary namin is every 6th of the month so ayan ang wedding date namin in between ng birthdays namin para isang celebration nalang ang anniversary at yung 2 birthdays namin.

 ;D

December sana kami but when we inquired sa church booked na yung date kahit 1 year pa. So we picked nalang the nearest available date. Which is Feb. We want sana anniv namin but weekday si anniv. So sabi namin bahala na. Kung ano nalang pinaka malapit since gustong gusto na pakasal hehe

So cute that there are a lot of us wanting to get married on our respective anniversaries :) two of my cousins got married on their anniv as well. All our wedding days fell on weekdays --- as in monday, tuesday and wednesday. Test of love and friendship talaga hahaha!

Hello.. just want to share..

Hubby proposed to me on May 12, 2013. We wanted sana a year after nagpropose si hubby pero unfortunately  yung venue hindi available. Non negotiable kasi samen ang Balai Taal. Couple of days after we got engaged we called Balai Taal na to reserve kahit based kami overseas. When we were still dating, we came across Balai Taal and na-inlove kami sa place. Nasabi agad namen na if ever ikakasal kami, yun ang magiging venue.
Unfortunately fully booked na until end of May. We didn't want to risk na ibook ng June kasi rainy season na and since outdoor ceremony and reception we needed to delay our wedding until November 2014.
Gustuhin man namen ischedule sa anniversary namen which is Nov. 18, Tuesday naman yun kaya nagdecide kami na Nov. 22 na lang para Saturday. :)

Kami naman we have to consider the weather kasi we want an outdoor reception. The only choice we have is Dec - Apr. Off the list na din ang dec 2015 - feb 2016 kasi we want na mas makaipon pa ng funds for the wedding. That leaves us with Mar and Apr. :)

After the ocular in Tagaytay and deciding which church and reception (should allow fireworks) we wanted, dun na kami nag-base sa kung anong availability nila.  Pero dapat weekend and 3PM ang ceremony para dinner reception and pwede rin mag-fireworks.  We wanted sana on our anniversary date/month, kaso July siya so for sure maulan. And 40% pa naman of our guests are based overseas as well as my siblings (together with their husband/wife and kids) and mom would be flying home pa to witness the event then uulanin lang. So our options were any weekend, 3PM ceremony between January to 2nd week of May.  Pag last week kase of May, medyo maulan na.
And because laging fully booked ang 3PM weekend ni Caleruega, the earliest then was second weekend 3PM of May :)

Hi mga sissies! Pa kwento about our wedding date. Ako kasi, hindi ko talaga peg yung madaming dates na na cine-celebrate, as much as possible I want to be our wedding date same with our Anniversary date. Kaso for the past 9 years ng relationship namin, never ata namin na celebrate ng exact date yung Anniv namin kasi laging may bagyo, as in bagyo na bumabaha at suspended yung mga klase, every 30th of July. HAHAHA! For us kasi, ayaw sana namin ma take for granted since very special yung araw na sinagot ko sya at naging kami. God's Will kaya gusto namin ma-preserve yung date. =)

But since bagyuhin nga yung anniv namin, we opted to use our First-Met Anniversary date. Sine-Celebrate din kasi namin and tine-treasure yung day kung kelan kami unang nagkakilala which is December-03-2005. Next year on our wedding date, it'll be our 11th year First-Met Anniversary. =)

Sis twin bride tayo!! ;)

Kami naman sis we wanted sana our wedding date na malapit na sa christmas para isang uwi na lang ng cousins namin abroad.. So we want december 17, 2016.. But after checking with Caleruega, di na available yung date so we chose any saturday na 3pm slot.. We got December 03, 2016...

Initially we wanted our anniv also but 1st thing to consider was when our friends from abroad can come home--christmas season. The anniv is a bit too far and december is out of the question since we didn't want to compete with office christmas parties. Decided on the 1st saturday after the new year weekend Jan 9 but San Sebastian declined since its black nazarene hence ended with Jan 10. Fortunately its an auspicious date--which i just checked after browsing through the thread hihi.

i love all the romantic stories behind the chosen wedding dates. our wedding date was determined in a very practical manner - we wanted to make sure my best friend and my husband's family will be able to attend.

Our wedding date is October 15, 2016. October kasi gusto ni bf na malamig na month, then the 15th kasi it's the nearest Saturday to our monthsary, which is October 12. :)

Side kwento lang: Kami ng first husband ko, we became bf-gf nung October tapos kinasal kami nung April, tapos itong bf ko ngayon, naging kami nung April tapos ikakasal kami sa October. Grabe yung coincidence. :P

We got married December 29, 2012.  We met September 7, 2011.  Two months into the relationship, particularly a year before the wedding, he paid for the reservation sa San Sebastian.  Oh diba? Whirlwind romance! As in siguradong-sigurado na!

So we opted for the date after Christmas.

Hehe.

Anyways, mga sis, please share your thoughts naman on getting married on a Sunday? What are the pros and cons? Kahit yun day sana, then the month is birthday month ko. :( Just checked SAC, my dream church, avail pa yun date and maluwag pa yun time sa PM schedule.

sis we're getting married on a sunday. :)

pros:
-pwede na pang sunday mass (depends on the readings)
-no/minimal traffic in the area especially we're getting married in Manila area
-can start and end reception early (depends if you think its a good thing)
-your guests can attend since its a weekend

cons:
-since there's sunday mass, time slots may be limited depending on chosen church
-if you wedding time slot is right before the mass, baka madaming "lurkers"
-might be prone to eat and run if your program starts late since their thinking would be...papasok na bukas
