How did you come up on your Wedding date?

Hello mga sis. Just want to ask how did you come up on your wedding dates? Please share your experiences or the the things that you consider on finalizing your wedding dates.

Well for me, first choice ko is on May 2016. I want to get wed on our Anniversary day (para exactly 9 years kami) and para isang celebration na lang every year. But as months passed, we realized hindi pa namin kaya kasi we're also paying for our house kaya medyo mabigat ang budget. H2B's next option is Dec 2016 but hindi ako pumayag kasi busy na mga tao that time and most likely mataas ang rate ng suppliers since it's peak season na for weddings. Tama naman ako diba mga sis? Haha And then nag come up kami or nag meet kami halfway na lang.. Our tentative date/month namin is Oct 2016 (monthsary date) kasi it's my birthday month. If given the chance na free pa yun date na gusto namin, it'll be 3 days after my birthday. Best birthday gift na din to sakin if ever. What do you think mga sis?

this is the date when me and my h2b got back together :p nov 24 2006 yung original anniversary date namin pero we broke up kasi, tapos naging kami ulet ng sept 12, 2007 kaya para 1 date na lang iceceleb namin hehe

Hi mga sissies! Pa kwento about our wedding date. Ako kasi, hindi ko talaga peg yung madaming dates na na cine-celebrate, as much as possible I want to be our wedding date same with our Anniversary date. Kaso for the past 9 years ng relationship namin, never ata namin na celebrate ng exact date yung Anniv namin kasi laging may bagyo, as in bagyo na bumabaha at suspended yung mga klase, every 30th of July. HAHAHA! For us kasi, ayaw sana namin ma take for granted since very special yung araw na sinagot ko sya at naging kami. God's Will kaya gusto namin ma-preserve yung date. =)

But since bagyuhin nga yung anniv namin, we opted to use our First-Met Anniversary date. Sine-Celebrate din kasi namin and tine-treasure yung day kung kelan kami unang nagkakilala which is December-03-2005. Next year on our wedding date, it'll be our 11th year First-Met Anniversary. =)

was supposed to have our wedding also on our 6th anniv, march 20 next year. kaso when i computed our projected expenses, di aabot. di naman kami pwedeng march 20 2017 kasi masusukob kami with his brother na july 2017 ang church wedding. unless we will settle for suppliers na hindi namin masyadong gusto, pwede kami mag-march 2016... so i asked if we can move it on our bday month, november 2016. then again, dapat nov. 20, 2016 para "monthsary" naman namin on our bday month, pero it's a sunday and naisip namin baka magmadali umuwi guests since destination wedding kami. we felt na  nov 19, 2016 (saturday) would be a win-win situation. maghoneymoon na lang kami the next day for our monthsary *hihi*

When we got engaged last year, he asked whether we're going to get married next year (2015). I answered yes and said I want to get married on our anniversary. I don't want to remember too many dates and I don't want to forget our bf-gf anniversary because it's just too special to be forgotten. Before pamamanhikan, we had to prepare our arguments and defend our chosen date with the elders. Hahaha! I had to research phases of the moon etc. Hindi na masyadong full moon on our wedding date, but they allowed us because of the number 8 which they say is lucky.

Ours was supposed to be 8-8 this year para nga 'infinity'. But need to change dahil yung mga kapatid ko from abroad can't attend, and they really want to be there on my special day. Kaya we moved it to 12-12 this year. At least same number yung month and day. Also, 12 is my fave number kasi birthdate ko is 12th.

hehe, to add ours . Our anniversary is the 8th of October. When he proposed last December, supposedly March yung wedding namin. But one of my best friend's wedding will be in June. So para isang uwi lang din yung mga friends namin sa overseas, we decided on June na din. 1 week lang ang pagitan namin ng best friend ko.  Ang  hiling lang ng mum ko eh yung wedding date namin will fall a few days after ng new moon, waxing moon for a happy start. Auspicious date. hehe.

Same here, sis! I want our wedding date to be the same as our anniv day. Plus it's summer pa, kaya maliit yun chance na umulan if ever we'll choose it. But due to time and budget issues,  he prefers na December (2016) na lang, it's the date when he first held my hand. Niloloko ko pa siya na I dont remember that day or why it's significant. Hehe. Sobrang tagal kasi for me ng December, sabi ko konting months na lang, 10th year na namin which is May 2017 na. Told him ayoko na abutin ng 10th year.

Yup, I have friends who got married on the 8th of the month din. I like the date #8 too kaya lang walang siginificance sa amin eh.

Hubby's very bad in remembering dates. We were never bf-gf on the first place so no anniversary at all. Basta all we can remember is that everything started in 2005. Our civil wedding was held on June 2, 2012.. So we had the church wedding on the same date na lang-June 2, 2015.. June 2 kase Jun2 pag short cut, so pag binasa mo parang junjun.. Kaya napili ni hubby kase nickname nya yon. Ang corny diba.

Our civil wedding was held on June 2, 2012.. So we had the church wedding on the same date na lang-June 2, 2015.. June 2 kase Jun2 pag short cut, so pag binasa mo parang junjun.. Kaya napili ni hubby kase nickname nya yon. Ang corny diba.

Like you TS, we had other financial obligations for setting up our future together. Same date pero long engagement ending namin (2 years)

Kami naman wala pa kami formal engagement(like the proposal stuff) but we've been planning for years na din. God's perfect time na lang talaga kasi this year lang we managed to buy our own house, reason why medyo ma-delay yun wedding, and looking forward kami to transfer sa ibang company para mas maka-save pa. Idk, siguro naghahanap lang siya perfect timing, pero we have come up na sa year and month at least. Before kasi, plano lang puro ganun. Hahaha. At least we're slowly getting there.

When he asked what my preferred date was, I just told him I want it to be on a regular holiday, para every anniversary we can spend time together and hindi namin kelangan i move yung date for celebration. So we listed down all the regular holidays this 2015, and decided on November 30. But since November 30 falls on a Monday this year, we decided to just have it on November 29, sunday, since technically we'll have a destination wedding.

Sis it's up to you, to some it doesn't matter. I just want to give it a try, no harm done naman. so why not haha. But I didn't choose 8 as my wedding day. It was supposed to be 8, but I chose date which is the total number of 9. For example ( Sum of date+month+year) 5/11/2008 —- 1+5+1+1+2+0+0+8 = 18(1+8=9), The wedding date is the total number of 9

Best dates to get Married 1 and 9 are best dates in numerology to get married for persons born on any number. Note that the destiny number should be 1 or 9.

Seems like circumstances often end up influencing dates hehe.
My fiance and I aren't particular on our wedding date (weird ba) because our anniv falls on his birthday na. When we started discussing dates, what came up was we had to have it near Xmas holidays so my brother (based in Las Vegas) and his brother (based in LA) could more surely go home. So yun! We only had choices between Dec 23 - Jan 2 minus Dec 24, 25, and 31 and Jan 1.

What really decided it for us was the availability of both the church and venue we wanted---1 date lang sila both available. LOL. Swerte nalang kasi if naging January pala date ko my venue would have charged me +70k more!

Has anyone thought about getting married on Leap year next year? lol It's my birthday and nakakainis na nga magcelebrate ng bday ko kasi lagi nila sinasabi na "Hinde mo naman birthday ngayon, bakit ka magcecelebrate?" pano pa kaya kung wedding anniversary mo? wala lang naisip ko lang lol
