May nagtry ba sa inyo ng sun cruises? How was your experience? Naglabas kasi uli sila ng ad for next year naman. Am considering it pero nagreresearch muna.

^ Not familiar with sun cruise, I thought you meant star cruises.  For first timers, super star virgo is not bad and you save airfare.  Same route parin ba?  Philippines, taiwan then hk?

we took the star cruises manila - japan - taiwan - manila 6 days 5 nights last March 2018.

the Japan leg was supposed to be Naha but changed to Miyakujima. Docked at Keelung in Taiwan.

got the sr citizen promo where you buy 1 regular fare and 1 sr citizen cruise free.

it was pretty good, you have activities and shows on board. the food is inclusive - and you get to eat 6 times in a day.

the Miyakujima tour was kind of lame - the island is almost at the tip of japan, so what youre going to see is just a bit of shopping at Don Quijote, the garden and a bit of beach area.

the one for taiwan - if  you're adventurous enough, you can tour on your own. its just a train ride or bus ride away from Keelung to Taipei (about an hour's ride i think).
