I don't think tama sila. It is your choice kung anong surname ang gusto mo.

Hi to everyone! I just want to know sana if anyone was able to successfully revert back the surname of their child from the father's surname to your (mother's surname).

As to adoption naman, has anyone also successfully did this already? Adopting your own ( but illegitimate under the law) son/daughter, together with your new husband, if any?

Replies will be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Hi mommies!!! Same here din ang surname ng son ko is same sa biological father. Okay naman kasi kami before, pero now as in wala na rin akong balita.

Kahit sustento wala. 6 or 8 months after nagparamdam na gusto niya daw sa knya ipa apelyido anak ko and also pag tinutupak nangangamusta sa bata. It doesnt make her less of a person.  :)

me sis. nabalik ko sa surname ko yung anak ko. regarding adoption aabutin ng 100-150k depende sa lawyer. acceptance fee is 50k. may mga hearing pa yan, dswd will go to your house, interview yung mga mag a-adopt, ipa-publish pa sa newspaper once a week for 3 months ata and you will pay the publishing rate. they will raffle it kung saang newspaper siya ma publish. very tedious. then pag umapela ang father automatic ma-cancel ang adoption. and even if hindi umapela ang father there is no guarantee na ma approve ang adoption. it takes years din. but unless willing siguro to spend more like mga lagay lagay baka mas mabilis.

And how much nagastos mo just to change his last name to yours?

thanks for the info amethyst028. If I am not mistaken, in-adopt mo yung baby by yourself lang? or you and your hubby adopted the child?

Anong ginawa mo sa father nung bata? was he informed? or di lang talaga siya umapela?

TIA!

^^they won't allow for petition lang. pwede ata iyan pag legal age na. for minors hindi. i did my research on that and hindi talaga pinapayagan. even kris aquino had to adopt bimby dahil gusto. there is no shortcut to this.

^no i did not adopt my baby. my son was adopted by my parents so lumalabas na magkapatid kame. i prefer it that way kasi gusto ko may middle name siya. sa papel lang naman yun. in real life ako ang kilala niyang mother and grandparents niya ang parents ko. hindi naman kame nagkaka problem sa school or anything. we were able to travel abroad na din kameng 2 lang di naman hinarang sa immigration or anything kasi same surname kame.

Kung di ako nag change ng civil status sa SSS at philhealth last November 2015 for sure gagamitin ko surname ko ng pagkadalaga sa baby ko kahit kasal kami.

single mom here.. my son's been using my last name (no middle name) for the past 10 years... so far, the only problem we've had is yung pag-clarify sa school records nya, and sa name plate sa school polo nila that he has no middle name/initial. though we did not get along well, his biological dad offered to sign my son's birth certificate, ako lang nag-decline. my cousin (who's also a single mom) warned me na mahirapan ako ilabas ng bansa ang bata (even for travel), kung nag sign sa birth certificate ang biological dad. yung biological dad kasi ng son nya (my nephew) demanded that his consent is needed nung dadalhin ng cousin ko sa US yung nephew ko (for a 1-month vacation lang). so para iwas hassle and since di rin naman kme in good terms ng biological dad ng anak ko, i used my last name na lang.

Hi everyone! This is my dilemma right now. Hope someone can clarify. :)

I'm married and pregnant but my husband doesn't want to recognize the baby (long story). Is it possible na magamit ng baby ko yung maiden name ko as her surname?  Kaka-separate pa lang namin ni hubby and if I file annulment for sure hindi aabot sa panganganak ko.  Thanks a lot!

^^hi sis! legally there is no way you can use your surname kasi kasal ka pa. illegally you can put your surname without middle name kung not present ang husband mo to sign the birth certificate. pag nag give birth ka kasi mag sign husband mo doon and i think they will ask for a copy of your marriage certificate.

kung naka declare na sa hospital records mo that you are married you are obliged to submit your marriage certificate.

Thank you for the answers mysterioza_me and amethyst028! :) Maybe I need to talk to a lawyer na since ayoko talaga gamitin ng daughter ko last name ng dad niya.
