Tokens/Gifts for your Suppliers

Hi Mga Sis!

We all have this bonding with our suppliers starting from Day 1 of inquiring even after the wedding day.
Aside from giving them their fees, do you consider giving tips/ gifts / tokens/ rewards?
When is the best time to give those stuffs incase? 

Like For the parish, they have this "wedding fee", but this one goes to the church itself. how about the priest?

I can foresee I will be having separation anxiety pa nga! hahaha!

Sis, you definitely will experience separation anxiety especially if you have very nice suppliers and you have formed a special bond/friendship with them. I gave clutch bags to the ladies, sa guys plan kong bigyan ang P/V when I get the final output plus the couturier, thinking of perfume siguro for them. For the officiant, we gave cash and gift (same gift we gave the PS).

^mga sis question lang, pede bang not on the day ibigay ang gift sa kanila? kasi we never see them perform pa naman diba?

I like this thread. Nag-iisip din ako ng gifts for my suppliers, especially the ones who are helping me talaga right now. And building on yannuh's question, kelan nga ang best time to give the gifts? If on the wedding day itself baka makalimutan na ibigay dahil sa dami ng ginagawa or nangyayari that day.

Sana makakuha ng tips here for the gifts. Us naman, we're planning to give the gifts right after the wedding mismo para mas feel yung 'job well done' gift namin.

we were thinking of giving a bottle of JD for each team sa P/V.  Sa venue AE namin, probably a tote bag. Pero sa mga coords, not sure yet kung ano pwede hehe sa mga gradudates natin na sis, ano ba ok na gifts for coordinators and their team?

I gave the gifts nung nagpaalam na sila sa akin na aalis na. The gifts, I left them at the registration area with the coords but I personally handed them to the recipients. True sis janagirl, mas maffeel nila na you appreciated them if you gave the gifts right away. Otherwise you can plan a mini luncheon with all your suppliers. After the wedding we had lunch too with the whole coordinating team. For the P/V, I'll definitely give gifts pa din even if late na. Happy naman ako sa output, sde, photos. Yung couturier ko, Manny Mondelo ang nakalimutan ko. He definitely deserve a reward for a job well done!

Ang cool clutch bags! tee hee! .. Kasi i always thought of chocolate naman. Kaso they cannot keep it..
Parang mas feel nga talaga na aside sa fees eh may personalized gifts!
The p/v team will be upon collection ng albums na. 
Naisip ko kasi baka yung ibang supplier maaga umalis or mag pack up tapos hindi na tayo makapag personal hank you, nangyayari ba yun? Gaya ni florist, maaga naalis sa reception. Yung HMUa, etc?

We're giving our suppliers set of perfume for the ladies and perfume/deo set for men. We have it even before the wedding pero hindi namin nabigay. So now we're in the process of meeting them personally to give our gifts and to say thanks na din. Challenge lang because of conflicting schedules. Hehe.

On the day itself, we gave each group bag of chocolates as a token of appreciation. That is on top of the individual snack bags we provided.

Sis maxim04 ok din chocolates. Nung prenup shoot, i gave chocolates to the photo team. Sa coordinator & hmua who are present that time i gave miniature Ck perfumes and accessories. And dahil din siguro we're based overseas, ok din to give chocolates whenever we meet a supplier.

Sa hmua pala usually din they stay sa reception. I gave thea dionisio a set of lippie, as a gift, that she can use on her makeup gigs pa.

Grabe iba na talaga weddings these days... andaming unnecessary gastos lol! Wala tong ganito nung time namin dati.
But why do you have to give them tokens or gifts eh it's not as if you're getting their services for free? Anlaki na nga ng binabayad sa mga suppliers, hindi pa ba enough yung bayad sa kanila? or is it depende naman to sa couple?

You are right sis, it all depends to the couple. it's not mandatory to give your suppliers some gifts of appreciation on top of the money you paid for the services. It's just that, we appreciate them so much that we wanted to give back to them esp for an overseas client who's so makulit with inquiries. Hehe! Saka the suppliers, they don't expect anything naman. We only give to those na madalas kong makausap at talagang makakatrabaho namin on the day. It's not a necessity, just an act of generosity perhaps.

^ yup sis, dati hindi naman siguro ito big deal but i know a few couple before they also give gifts on top the bayad pa. lets just say na appreciation gift siya. Kasi the fees wont go sa pocket nila lahat. They will have their monthly salary pa din dba.. Then if you love the service personally, you can give small thingys. This is really up to the couple. Walang pwersahan. Hehe. Hindi naman magbabago ang service nila kung may gift or wala sila marerecieve dba. Its more on the thought that counts, and yes agree with sis belle, makulit kaming mga overseas bride so minsan kahit hatinggabi na, kausap pa namin sila. tee hee!.
